Herald of Medicine 2016;35(7):718-723,724
Objective To investigate the influence of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD ) inclusion and its cataplasma on the transdermal permeability of volatile oil extracted from Chuanxiong Rhizoma and Asari Radix et Rhizoma by means of percutaneous penetration test of four preparations containing of the volatile oil. Methods Using the modified Franz diffusion pool as equipment, with 40% ethanol solution as absorption solution and SD rat skin coated with the volatile oil,aβ-CD inclusion complex of the volatile oil,a cataplasma of theβ-CD inclusion complex of the volatile oil,and a cataplasma of the mixture of the volatile oil andβ-CD,respectively,as experimental skin, the transdermal penetration test was carried out.The cumulative penetrative amounts of volatile oil in the absorption liquid were measured by GC-MS in order to evaluate the differences in the percutaneous permeability. Results The percutaneous penetration rate constant size order of four preparations containing the volatile oil is as follows:the volatile oil directly coated on the skin > the cataplasma of β-CD inclusion complex of the volatile oil > the β-CD inclusion complex of the volatile oil directly coated on the skin > the cataplasma of the mixture of the volatile oil and β-CD. Conclusion The compositions of the volatile oil retrieved from the β-CD inclusion complex are no significant changes. The percutaneous permeability of the cataplasma of β-CD inclusion complex of the volatile oil is better than that of the cataplasma of the mixture of volatile oil and β-CD.
2.Study on the Inclusion of Volatile Oil Extracted from Rhizoma Chuanxiong and Radix et Rhizoma Asari with ?-Cyclodextrin
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2004;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the process conditions for ?-cyclodextrin-inclusion of volatile oil obtained from Rhizoma Chuanxiong and Radix et Rhizoma Asari in Guanxin Zhitong Cataplasma, which is prescribed by Professor Deng Tietao. Methods The orthogonal design was used for the optimization of inclusion conditions. With the transformation rate of the volatile oil in inclusion complex and with the yield of inclusion complex as the evaluation indexes, the mass ratio of ?-cyclodextrin to oil,the temperature and the inclusion time were used as the main factors of L9(34)orthogonal design. Results The optimal conditions for inclusion were as follows: the mass ratio of ?-cyclodextrin to oil being 8∶1,in a saturated water solution, inclusion temperature at 60 ℃,and stirring for 1h.Conclusion The optimal conditions for ?-cyclodextrin-inclusion of volatile oil from Rhizoma Chuanxiong and Radix et Rhizoma Asari are steady and feasible.
3.Computer Virtual Screening of Farnesoid X Receptor Inhibitors Based on the TCM Database
China Pharmacy 2001;0(07):-
OBJECTIVE: To seek for the farnesoid X receptor (FXR) inhibitors from the TCM database using chemoinformatics.METHODS: Three-dimensional structure active fraction of FXR-fexaramine compound (PDB code: 1OSH) was analyzed using Cerius2 4.10 software package developed by Accerlrys company.Ligandfit module was applied for molecular docking.RESULTS: 10 compounds which were predicted to have good interactions with FXR were screened using docking score of original inhibitor (fexaramine) and the receptor as threshold value.CONCLUSION: The study could be helpful for development of new lipid-lowering drug and further study of mechanism of FXR and pharmaceutical molecular.

Objective]The paper summarizes the academic thoughts and clinical experience of Professor HAN Xinmin for treating Tic Disorders from view of wind-phlegm. [Methods] By learning from Professor HAN Xinmin, recording the relevant cases and analyzing typical cases, to sum up the knowledge of etiology and pathogenesis, treatment characteristics, as well as list one proved case. [Results]Professor HAN Xinmin holds that this disease origins from liver, involving lung, spleen and kidney. The key pathogenesis is the internal stir of wind and phlegm. Treatment follows the principles of dispelling pathogenic wind and eliminating phlegm, along with suppressing hyperactivity liver qi, dispersing lung qi, regulating spleen and tonifying kidney. The self-ordained Chinese herbal medicine prescription has achieved a satisfactory clinical curative effect. [Conclusion]Therapies of Professor HAN Xinmin on treating Tic Disorders have significant effect, which have the value of popularization and application.

Objective To discuss experiences in reconstruction of severe tibial shaft fractures by using different flaps and external fixations. Methods The study involved 190 patients with type GustiloⅢB Ⅲ C (160 patients) and GustiloⅢC (30 patients) tibial shaft fractures treated from 1990 to 2007.There were 169 males and 21 females,at average age of 42.5 years. The injury causes included traffic accidents in 132 patients, machine accidents in 32 and stone smashing in 26.The management procedure consisted of administration of antibiotics, serial debridement and different flap grafting (including free thoracoumbilical flaps in 20 patients, sural neurocutaneous vascular flaps in 108,saphenous neurocutane ous vascular flaps in 12,superficial peroneal neurocutaneous flap in two, fasciocutaneous flaps in 26 and gastrocnemius muscular flaps in 22) and different external fixators (half-ring fixators in 84 patients, unilateral axial dynamic fixators in 12,AO fixators in 10,Weifang fixators in 42 and hybrid fixators in 40).The average follow-up was 7.3 years. Results All flaps survived.Of all,186 patients obtained fracture healing, with mean fracture healing time varying in different patients treated with different external fixators:7.5 months for 84 patients treated with half-ring fixators,11.2 months for eight with unilateral axial dynamic fixators,8.5 months for 12 with AO fixators ,8.1 months for 42 with Weifang fixators and 7.8 months for 40 with assembly fixators.Except for half-ring fixation, the other fixators needed necessary bone graft.Four patients treated with unilateral axial dynamic fixators resulted in nonunion due to osteo myelitis. The latest follow up showed that the function of the ankle and knee was normal, with no pain. Conclusion Combination of half-ring external fixators with various flaps provides good method for treatment of Gustilo ⅢB and ⅢC tibial shaft fractures.

Acute abdomen is often a general term for abdominal diseases with acute abdominal pain as the main manifestation. Common clinical acute abdomen includes acute appendicitis, acute cholecystitis, acute cholangitis, acute pancreatitis, gastrointestinal perforation, intestinal obstruction and other diseases, its characteristics are great changes, rapid progress, high misdiagnosis rate, high postoperative complication rate and high mortality rate, accurate diagnosis and early treatment can obtain a good prognosis. With our in-depth understanding of the occurrence and development of acute abdomen diseases and the development of evidence-based medicine, minimally invasive technology plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis and treatment of common acute abdomen. Laparoscopy on diagnosis can clarify disease diagnosis to a large extent. For those who cannot undergo surgery, decompression and drainage under endoscopy provides a diversified plan for treatment decisions. In addition, minimally invasive techniques are also used in etiological treatment and complications. Disease, prevention of recurrence in all aspects, Minimally invasive technology is beneficial to the etiological treatment of biliary pancreatitis, appendicitis and cholangitis, and endoscopic technology is more consistent with the minimally invasive concept in the treatment of complications.
