126 adult male Wistar rats were used.A 4?6 cm~2 standard island skin flap wasraised on one side of the abdominal wall of the rats.In the flaps of the experim-ental group,only the superficial epigastric and lateral thoracic vein were preserved.The process of revascularization,histological changes,glycogen content and lactatedehydrogenase (LDH) activity of the flap were observed postoperatively with Indian ink injection,X-ray,microscopy and microspectrometry.The shrinking rateand degree of edema of the experimental flap were also observed and all comparedwith those of the control flaps.The results indicated that the flaps of experimentalgroup had a higher survival rate and lower degree of edema,and its glycogencontent and LDH activity decreased markedly on the lst postoperative day,andincreased gradully afterwards.Revascularization started on the 2nd postoperative day,such as capillary anastomoses passing through the cut edges of the flap,vesselsentering the flap from the recipient bed,vessels becoming tortous,dilated,andmarkedly proliferated.The results suggest that there was a true plasmatic circulationat the early stage in the simple venous flap and turns to a normal vascular type byrevascularization.The vividness of a flap may be indicated by the variance of themetabolism of carbohydrate in the skin flap.

Objective To study the diagnostic value of cavernosography in the venous leakage impotence.Methods Cavernosography were performed for 25 patients with the venous leakage impotence who had been diagnosed by the clinic just after the contrast agent had been injected.The appearance of cavernosography were analysed.Results Different degree venous leakage had been shown in 25 cases.The diagnostic accordance rate of the cavernosography,clinic impotence for the venous leakage was 100%(25/25).The accordance rate of the degree of the venous leakage shown by the cavernosography and pointed out by the clinical impotence was 36%(9/25).Conclusion Cavernosography not only can show the venous leakage and its location,but also can know the degree of the venous leakage.

OBJECTIVE:To compare Paliperidone sustained-release tablet and Paliperidone palmitate injection in the treatment of schizophrenia in respects of medium-term and long-term efficacy,safety,insight,medication compliance and social function of patients,so ad to provide reference for drug selection in the clinic.METHODS:Eighty-four schizophrenia patients selected from our center during Mar.2015-Jun.2016 were divided into Paliperidone sustained-release tablet group (group H,44 cases) and Paliperidone palmitate injection group (group Z,40 cases).Group H was given Paliperidone sustained-release tablet orally with initial dose of 3 mg/d,gradually increasing to 9 mg/d 2 weeks later according to disease condition;the drug dose was adjusted and ranged 3-12 mg/d according to disease condition.Group Z was given Paliperidone palmitate injection intramuscularly,150 mg on 1st day,100 mg on 8th day,and then given injection once a month,drug dose was adjusted according to disease condition (75,100,150 mg).Treatment course of 2 groups lasted for 12 months.Before treatment,1,2,3,6,9,12 months after treatment,Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) was used to evaluate therapeutic efficacy;Scale to Assess Unawareness of Mental Disorder (SAUMD) was used to evaluate the cognition of patients to disease;Medication Adherence Rating Scale (MARS) was used to evaluate medication compliance;Personal and Social Performance Scale (PSP) was used to evaluate patient's social function.The occurrence of ADR was observed during treatment.RESULTS:3,2 patients withdrew from group H,Z during treatment.Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in PANSS,SAUMD,MARS,PSP scores between 2 groups (P＞0.05).1,2,3,6,9,12 months after treatment,PANSS and SAUMD scores of 2 groups were decreased significantly,while MARS and PSP scores were increased significantly,compared to before treatment,with statistical significance (P＜0.05).9,12 months after treatment,PANSS and SAUMD scores of group Z were decreased significantly,while MARS and PSP scores were increased significantly,compared to group H,with statistical significance (P＜0.05).There was no statistical significance in the occurrence of ADR between 2 groups (P＞0.05).CONCLUSIONS:For schizophrenia,Paliperidone palmitate injection is better than Paliperi done sustained-release tablet in respects of medium-term and long-term efficacy,patient's insight,medication compliance,social function recovery;the longer the time,the more prominent the superiority.There is no significant difference in safety between them.

Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of bronchial artery embolization(BAE) and pulmonary artery embolism(PAE) for massive hemoptysis.Methods 48 cases with massive hemoptysis were treated with embolization,of them,43 underwent selective bronchial arteriography and BAE with microballoon of Baiji,three cases underwent selective bronchial arteriography and treated with PAE at the same time,two cases underwent PAE.Results The abnormal features of arteriography were displayed in all hemoptysis stopped after operation 48 h later.Three cases recurred during followed up six months later,but the hemoptysis decreased.Conclusion Pulmonary arteriography and PAE therapy should be preformed when BAE fails for massive hemoptysis.

Objective: To study the effect of Interleukin(IL)-17 on neutrophil apoptosis and try to explain the possible mechanism involved. Methods: Neutrophils isolated from healthy donors were incubated in enriched RPMI 1640 cell culture medium at 37 ℃ in 5% carbon dioxide. Subgroups were incubated with IL-17, heat-denatured IL-17 (X-IL-17), dexamethasone (DEX), or buffer alone. Apoptosis was assessed by morphologic changes, by detecting DNA strand breaks. Production of proapoptotic protein Bax by neutrophils was evaluated by immunocytochemistry. Results: At the time of neutrophil incubation, neutrophils in the control subsets exhibited morphologic evidence of apoptosis. A steady rise in apoptosis index (AI) was noted, with (1.54?0.08)% for 0 h, (11.48?1.80)% (compared with 0 h, P0.05) for 0 h, (20.47?6.22)% ( compared with control 12 h, P0.05).Neutrophils apoptosis was accompanied by DNA fragmentation. Objective To compare the diagnostic value of MRS acquired by body coil(BODY)and endorectal Coil(ERC)in the detection of prostate cancer.Methods MRI and 3D MRS were performed in 12 patients with prostate disease,in which 6 of them were proved to have prostate cancer and the other 6 noncancerous disease.Both BODY and ERC MRS were performed in 7 patients,and only BODY MRS was performed in the other 5 patients.All MRS data were quantitatively assessed with a per-sextant method.The metabolic ratio of(Choline+Creatine)/Citrate[(Cho+Cre)/Cit]was measured in each ROI.ROC analysis was carried out to assess and to compare the diagnostic value of BODY and ERC MRS in patients with prostate cancer with Wilcoxon test.Results (1)The ratios of(Cho+Cre)/Cit in the prostate cancer group(median 1.744,0.295 to 7.998)was statistically higher than that in the non-prostate cancer group (median 0.412,0.112 to 2.113)acquired by using BODY MRS(Z=-9.159,P＜0.01).(2)The ratios of(Cho+Cre)/Cit in the prostate cancer group(median 1.975,0.479 to 7.998)was statistically higher than that in the lion-prostate cancer group(median 0.400,0.104 to 2.232)acquired by using ERC MRS(Z=-9.200,P＜0.01).(3)The mean ratios of(Cho+Cre)/Cit in the prostate cancer group and in the non-prostate cancer group acquired by using both coils were not of statistically significant difference(P＞0.05).(4)ROC analysis for diagnosing prostate cancer showed no significant difference(P=0.851)between the areas under the curve of BODY and that of ERC MRS(Az=0.93 1 and 0.935 respectively).Conclusion The BODY MRS could provide comparable diagnostic efficacy to ERC MRS in patients with prostate cancer.

BACKGROUND:L-type calcium channels, as a kind of voltage-dependent calcium channel, is the main way of extracellular calcium ions into the cell, and play an important role in maintaining cellmorphology and physiological activities, characterized by a large single-channel conductance, slow channel attenuation, and longer duration of channel opening. Previous studies showed that basic fibroblast growth factor can promote the proliferation of chondrocytes cultured in vitro.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of the L-type calcium channels on regulating chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation in response to basic fibroblast growth factor with patch-clamp.
METHODS:The chondrocytes were harvested from the joints of 3-day-old New Zealand rabbits. The second passage of chondrocytes was divided into experimental group and control group. Chondrocytes were incubated in media containing 10μg/L basic fibroblast growth factor and media alone separately. The opening of L-type calcium channels under the action of basic fibroblast growth factor was detected by patch-clamp. The intracellular calcium concentration was detected with laser confocal microscopy in the chondrocytes after 2 weeks of culture with basic fibroblast growth factor. Chondrocyte proliferation was analyzed by cellTiter kit after 8 days of culture. Type Ⅱ col agen was assessed quantitatively by immunohistochemistrical staining after 10 days of culture.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Basic fibroblast growth factor has an inhibitory effect on the opening of the L-type calcium channels, resulting in a decrease in intracellular free calcium concentration (P<0.01). cellnumber was higher after culture with basic fibroblast growth factor than that cultured under conventional condition (P<0.01), and staining area of type II col agen significantly increased (P<0.05). Results verified that basic fibroblast growth factor can maintain intracellular Ca2+concentration at a low level by inhibiting the opening of L-type calcium channels, which can promote the proliferation and differentiation of chondrocytes.

Objective To investigate whether ultrasound (US)-targeted microbubble (MB) destruction (UTMD) can influence the biofilm and bacteria in morphology.Methods Twenty-hour biofilms of Staphylococcus epidermidis RP62A were treated with US or UTMD.The acoustic intensity was 0.5-1.5W/cm2,the duty cycle was 50％ and the duration was 10 minutes.After treatment,the absorbance values (A570) of biofilms stained with the crystal violet were measured to assess the biofilm density.The biofilms were observed with macroscopy and light microscopy.The biofilms were examined by confocal laserscanning microscopy (CLSM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).Results A thick and compact biofilm was observed in the untreated control group,and there were no obvious micropores in biofilms under macrology and light micrology.Although there were no significant changes under macroscopy in both biofilms treated with US only and UTMD with 0.5 W/cm2 acoustic intensity,interestingly,many micropores could be found under microscopy.The diameters of micropores increased with increasing acoustic intensity,and the micropores in biofilms treated with UTMD were bigger than those treated with US-only in the same condition of acoustic intensity (P ＜0.05).The largest diameters of micropores were up to 1 mm in biofilms treated with UTMD using 1.5 W/cm2 (P ＜0.05).The biofilm density (A570 value) decreased with increasing of the acoustic intensity,and the values in UTMD group of 1.5 W/cm2 were the lowest (P ＜ 0.05).Micropores also could be observed under CLSM.There were no obvious dead bacteria in biofilms treated with US and UTMD compared with untreated control group (P ＞0.05).Under SEM,the shape of bacteria in biofilms treated with US and UTMD became irregular,and many rounded projection could be observed in the surface of the bacteria treated with UTMD.Conclusions US and UTMD can produce micropores in biofilms,which might help to promote antibiotic activity against biofilms

Objective To analyze the occupational characteristics in patients with avascular necrosis of femoral head and related factors.Methods A random sample of 1062 patients with avascular necrosis of femoral head of inpatient medical record data from 2007 to 2008 was selected, all patients were confirmed by X-ray, CT, MRI or radionuclide bone scan.Patients were assigned to three groups of agriculture (320 cases), non-agricultural (424 cases), the other(318 cases) groups by different occupation.The patient's age, gender, ethnicity, single or bilateral, etiology, staging, time of onset and region were compared in each group.Results The proportions of gender (male/female) were 21.94％ (233/1062) and 8.19％ (87/1062) in agriculture group,32.77％ (348/1062) and 7.16％ (76/1062) , 21.66％ (230/1062) and 8.29％ (88/1062) in non-agricultural and the other groups respectively.The proportions of region (Northeast, North, East, South, Southwest, Northwest of China) were 3.30％ (35/1062), 8.00％ (85/1062), 8.10％ (86/1062), 4.80％ (51/1062), 3.11％(33/1062) ,2.82％ (30/1062) in agriculture group, 8.29％ (88/1062), 10.08％ (107/1062), 7.72％ (82/1062), 7.25％ (77/1062), 2.26％ (24/1062), 4.33％ (46/1062), and 4.05％ (43/1062), 8.38％ (89/1062) ,8.10％(86/1062) ,4.61％(49/1062) ,2.17％(23/1062) ,2.64％(28/1062) in the group of non-agricultural and the other.The proportions of etiology (alcohol, hormones, trauma, two or more, the other) were 5.46％ (58/1062), 6.97％ (74/1062), 4.43％ (47/1062), 0.94％ (10/1062), 12.34％ (131/1062) in agriculture group, 10.55％ (112/1062), 7.72％ (82/1062), 5.74％ (61/1062), 2.26％ (24/1062), 13.65％ (145/1062), and 4.90％ (52/1062), 5.93％ (63/1062), 4.90％ (52/1062), 0.66％ (7/1062), 13.56％ (144/1062) in the group of non-agricultural and the other.The proportions of gender, region, etiology in each group were analyzed by x2 test, the differences were statistically significant (x2 =12.77, 24.55, 26.36, P ＜0.05).The onset time and ARCO staging in each group, the correlations were analyzed by Spearman test, the differences were statistically significant(rs =0.282,0.232,0.208, P＜0.05).The onset of time and average age in different occupational group with different, due to factors such as gender, ethnicity, single or bilateral, region, and so on.Conclusion Patients with avascular necrosis of femoral head in different occupational group have different epidemiological characteristics.The occupational characteristics analysis can provide scientific data for diagnosis,treatment and prevention in patients with avascular necrosis of femoral head.

Objective To retrospectively analyze the anesthesia management of applying minimally invasive percutaneous neplrolithotripsy for treating hepatolithiasis.Methods The anaesthesia method,anesthetic effect,the time of resuscitation after anesthesia and side -effect of anesthesia in 86 patients who were underwent minimally invasive percutaneous neplrolithotripsy for hepatolithiasis were analyzed.Results All 86 patients were satisfied with anesthetic effect and completed surgery successfully.Among them,48 patients underwent operation with epidural anesthesia,31 patients with general anesthesia and 7 patients with the management of anesthesia monitoring(MAC) plus with local anesthesia.The time of resuscitation after anesthesia in general anesthesia patients was longer than those of epidural anesthesia and MAC.6 patients were delayed recovery and hypothermia after general anesthesia, 4 cases of epidural anesthesia and 1 case of MAC appeared cholecyst -heart reflection,and 2 cases of epidural anesthesia vomiting intraoperation.Conclusion The rational anesthesia method for patients underwent minimally invasive percutaneous neplrolithotripsy for treating hepatolithiasis should consider reasonably heart and lung function, maintain hemodynamics and respiratory stably,pay attention to insulation intraoperation,prevent cholecyst -heart reflection and shorten the operation time,which can reduce the side -effect of anesthesia and were favor for recovery after operation.
