The paper analyzes the problems of the specialized databases and search engines during document retrieval and the reasons for constructing retrieval thesaurus in the field of medical field,and establishes a retrieval thesaurus jointly reviewed by sci-tech novelty assessment and subject specialists by taking sci-tech novelty report of the sci-tech novelty station of the Ministry of Education since 2014 as the data sources.The thesaurus applies to sci-tech novelty assessment,document retrieval teaching and other fields,which can also be promoted in other fields.

BACKGROUND: Studies have demonstrated that exogenous basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) has intensive effects to promote proliferation of gingival fibroblasts (GFs) cultured in vitro and the heeling of gingival wounds. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of bFGF gene transfection on the biological performance of Beagle canine GFs. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: An observation and comparison in vitro experiment regarding cells was accomplished in Centre of Cell Biology and Development of Fujian Medical University and Department of Comparative Medicine in Fuzhou General Hospital of Nanjing Military Area Command of Chinese PLA from April to September of 2008. MATERIALS: Four beagle dogs, male, 12 months old, weighing 10-13 kg were used in this experiment, plRES2-EGFP-bFGF plasmid containing full-length human bFGF gene cDNA was constructed and conserved by our institution. METHODS: Free gingiva of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th premolars were excised from left upper jaw of Beagle dogs, dnsed with aseptic phosphate buffer four times, then cut into pieces and digested with 2.5 g/L pancreetin for 2 hours at 37 ℃. After the cantrifugation and supernatant removal, DMEM containing 10% fetal bovine serum was added to incubate on 6-well plate with coverlips in 5% CO2 incubator at 37 ℃. Logadthrnically growing cells were digested and passaged. GFs were transfected with pIRES2-EGFP-bFGF plasmid using liposome mediated method, while vacant plasmid transfection and un-transfection group served as controls.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Proliferation and apoptosis feature of the GFs were evaluated by M'rE and AOEB, respectively. The activity of alkaline phosphatase was assayed by chemical coledmetry. RESULTS: All of three groups cells entered log phrase on three days after transfection. MTT results showed that the proliferation of GFs transfected with bFGF was greater than cells transfected with vacant vector and untransfected cells (P < 0.05). AO/EB dyeing showed the apoptosis rate of GFs transfected with bFGF was reduced compared with other two groups (P < 0.05). After bGFG gene transfection, the ALP activity remained unchanged and there was no significant difference compared with untransfected cells.CONCLUSION: The transfection of bFGF gene to GFs can promote the proliferation of GFs and depress the apoptosis. No promotion is present with regard to the GFs differentiation.

Objective To systematically assess the detection of K-ras gene mutation at codon 12 in pancreatic juice for diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.Methods A comprehensive electronic searching was performed to retrieve relevant studies on K-ras gene mutation in pancreatic juice for diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.Data on accuracy of included studies were extracted,Meta-DiSc1.4,Stata10.0,was applied for further heterogeneity exploring,meta-analysis and publication bias testing.Results Fifteen studies met the inclusion criteria.Heterogeneity was not found among these studies,including threshold effect,different test methods,randomization and blind.Pooled accuracy indicators like sensitivity,specificity and diagnostic odds ratio(DOR) were 0.61(95%CI 0.56-0.66),0.82(95%CI 0.77-0.86) and 6.28(95%CI 4.42-8.91),respectively.Area under curve(AUC) of SROC(summary receiver operating characteristics) was 0.8207 and Q index was 0.7542.Publication bias had little influence on meta-analysis with the fail-safe number of 694.0108.Conclusions This meta-analysis demonstrates that the detection of K-ras gene mutation in pancreatic juice has moderate effect for diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.It is not enough to be an early diagnosing or screening indicator for pancreatic cancer,but it can be used clinically as an important adjunct to cytology,imageology and enzymology in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Objective To develop a real-time QRS complex detection algorithm of dynamic ECG signals for the GPRS mobile telemonitoring system. Methods Before the first and second derivatives of ambulatory ECG signals were processed by moving average method, the signals sampled from CM5 monitoring lead were filtered with the average of continuous four ECG sample signal points. The R waves could be detected precisely by local minima of second derivatives and Q & S waves were located correctly by cross-zero points of first derivatives of ambulatory ECG signals in a short-time searching windows. The QRS recognition thresholds, which could revise themselves according to the detected values and vary with the analyzing signals, were designed in this paper. Results With a polynomial computation complexity, the novel algorithm insensitive to baseline draft and noise caused by mobile communication filtered power-line interference and most of muscle noise and reduced the search time below 0.02 s during detecting each Q wave, R wave and S wave. For the normal and clinical patients, this algorithm correctly detected up to 99.8% of the QRS complex of ambulatory ECG signals. Conclusion The algorithm can meet the need of real-time QRS complex detection and analysis for the GRRS mobile ECG telemonitoring system.

Terahertz waves have unique properties and advantages, which makes it gain increasing attention and applications in the biomedical field. Burns is a common clinical trauma. Since the water-sensitive and non-destructive characteristics of terahertz, terahertz imaging techniques can be used to detect burns. So far, terahertz imaging technology in the assessment of burn injuries has been developed from ex vivo to in vivo, and high-resolution images can be obtained through the gauzes and plasters. In this paper, we mainly introduces the application of terahertz imaging technology and development in the assessment of burn injuries.

Objective To compare the two different ways of right ventricular outflow tract(RVOT) reconstruction at repair of pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect,the direct RV-PA anastomosis and pericardial conduit to find the better way.Methods From Jun.2002 to Oct.2012,66 patients underwent pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect repair in our hospital,age at operation from 14 days to 272 months.Patients were divided into 2 groups according to the way of RVOT reconstruction.Group 1:31 of them,using direct RV-PA anastomasis,Group 2:35 of them,using pericardial conduit.Paired t test was used to evaluate the growth of pulmonary arteries.Chi-square test and Kaplan-Meier were used to calculate the postoperative mortality,reopemtion situation and survival time.Results There are 3 early hospital death in group 1 (9.7 ％),and 5 in group 2(14.3％),P =0.71.There is a significant difference between the two groups in restenosis rate of the RV-PA anastomasis and autologous pericardial conduit with pulmonary branch artery(Group 1:22.2％,Group 2:55.6％,P =0.01).The diameters of RV-PA anastomasis and the pulmonary artery branches in follow-up were significantly lager than the earlier diameters(P ＜ 0.05) in group 1.There is no growth on diameters of the pericardial conduit and pulmonary branches except the right pulmonary artery in follow-up in group 2.There is no significant difference between the two groups in later survival(P =0.30).Conclusion Both the direct anastomasis of RV-PA and pericardial conduit are available for RVOT reconstruction in pulmonary atresia with ventricular setal defect repair.There is lower incidence of RVOT and pulmonary stenosis and anastomosis absolutely has the ability for later growth in the former.

Objective To conduct a systematic review to evaluate efficacy and safety of bladder neck preservation techniques during radical prostatectomy.Methods We searched PubMed,Embase,Medline,Central (the Cochrane Library,Issue 1,2013),CNKI,CBM from the inception to July 2015 for randomized or observational studies assessing the influence of preservation of bladder neck on the continence recovery and cancer control outcomes after radical prostatectomy.Two researchers evaluated the quality of included studies.A meta-analysis was conducted using Review Manager 5.0 software.Results Twelve observational and two randomized studies were analyzed.BNP group had a faster recovery of early continence than non-BNP group at 1 month[OR =2.88,95％ CI 1.80-4.60,P ＜ 0.05],3-4 months [OR =2.32,95％ CI 1.42-3.80,P ＜ 0.05].However there was no statistically significant difference in terms of continence rate at 6 months [OR =1.49,95％ CI 0.97-2.29,P =0.07] and 12 months [OR =0.99,95％ CI 0.70-1.39,P =0.93] among two groups.There was no significant difference in terms of PSM rate [OR =0.92,95 ％ CI 0.71-1.19,P =0.52] between BNP and non-BNP groups.Conclusions We found that preservation of the bladder neck result in earlier return of urinary continence without adversely affecting cancer control.

Objective To investigate the changes in intracellular Ca2+ in the ureter smooth muscle cells (USMC) of rats with neuropathic urinary tract dysfunction (NUTD) and their significance.Methods Forty-five rats were randomly and averagely divided into NUTD group,experimental control (EC) group and blank control (BC) group.The NUTD group was operated with a spinal cord transection at the first lumbar level and the sacral cord was destroyed;in EC group the spinal process was partly bitten at the same position,but the spinal cord was not transected;BC group was given no operations.One week later,the video-urodynamic was performed to observe the acontractile detrusor (ACD),vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) and urinary tract dysfunction in rats among the NUTD group,EC group and the BC group.Video-urodynamic assessment was performed at the sixth week after operation.Ureter smooth muscle cells (USMC) were obtained by collagenase digestion.Intracellular Ca2 + in the USMC were observed by laser scanning confocal microscope.Then the effects of Bay K8644(10-8 mol/L,10-7 mol/L,10-6 mol/L) on cytosolic Ca2+ concentrations([Ca2+] i) in NUTD group were studied by calculating the fluorescence intensity.Results ACD and no detrusor overactivity were found in all rats in NUTD group and without vesicoureteral reflux.Immunofluorescence method confirmed that the cells were USMC.Compared with BC group (31.44 ± 2.82) and EC group (32.06 ± 3.67),the fluorescence intensity (FI) of intracellular Ca2 + in USMC was much lower in the NUTD group (9.80 ± 1.11),and there was significant difference(P ＜ 0.05).Bay K8644 (10-8 mol/L,10-7 mol/L,10-6 mol/L) increased the FI of [Ca2 +] i in a concentration-dependent manner,which were 3.80 ± 1.30,10.04 ± 2.15,19.89 ± 2.06,respectively,and there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The decrease in Ca2 + concentration in the ureter smooth muscle cells may be one of the important factors for the primary ureteral dysfunction of NUTD.And calcium channel agonist can be meaningful for adjusting abnormal Ca2+ concentration in USMC of NUTD.

Objective To evaluate the right heart function with echocardiography after right ventricle-pulmonary artery (RV-PA) anastomasis for right ventricle outflow (RVOT) reconstruction in patients with different types of pulmonary atresia and ventricle septal defect(PA/VSD).Methods From Nov 2002 to Aug 2013,31 patients with PA/VSD had undergone right ventricle-pulmonary anastomasis to reconstruct RVOT for radical or palliative repair.Related echocardiography indexs including strain/rate etc.were used to evaluate the right heart function and the progress of the right heart valves regurgitation.Results There were 3 early hospital deaths.No later death during follow-up.The echocardiography suggested the pulmonary artery and tricuspid regurgitation were more serious,however,the right heart function was relatively fine.The regurgitation of tricuspid valve was positive correlation with duration of follow-up (P =0.016).Conclusion The right heart function in follow-up keeps relatively well,and tricuspid valve regurgitation needs a long-term follow-up.

Using cDNA from Rehmannia glutinosa leaf as template, a 972 bp fragment of expansin gene which containing a 762 bp ORF that encoded 253 amino acids, was cloned, named RgEXPA10, which GenBank accession number for this gene is KF011918. A 1 207 bp genomic sequence of RgEXPA10 was amplified by PCR with leaf DNA as template, sequencing analysis revealed that three exons and two introns in RgEXPA10 genomic sequence, and which GenBank accession number is KF011919. Molecular and bioinformatic analyses indicated that RgEXPA10 protein have DPBB_1 and Pollen_allerg_1 domain, also including a 26 aa nuclear localization signal and a 19 aa transmembrane region. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that RgEXPA10 showed the highest homology with AtEXPA8 among the 26 α-expansins in Arabidopsis thaliana. However, the RgEXPA10 indicated the highest homology with the expansin from Solanum lycopersicum among 22 plant species. Expression patterns using qRT-PCR analysis showed that RgEXPA10 mainly expressed in unfolded leaf, followed by the tuberous root at stage of expanding period, and rarely expressed in senescing leaf. And RgEXPA10 showed higher expression level in tuberous root at 60 and 90 days after emergence. The transcription level of RgEXPA10 significantly reduced under all the three stresses including continuous cropping conditions, salinity and waterlogging. This study will lay foundations for molecular function in development and regulation of different stresses for R. glutinosa.
