1.Design,selection and replacement of hip prosthesis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(30):-
Total hip replacement is a primary therapy for hip-joint disease.Well-matched prosthesis is important for success replacement.Biomechanical performance of the artificial joint following replacement is closely related to the service life.In addition, the effect of total hip replacement is highly correlated with acetabular anteversion angle, femoral head rotation center and eccentricity, and force.Prosthesis force includes normal stress and shear stress. The normal stress is beneficial to prosthesis fixation and force transfer, while shear stress may cause prosthesis loosening.Bone and bone mass changes surrounding the prosthesis, prosthesis loosening or dislocation, prosthesis peripheral fracture, material wearing, and infection are common complications influencing mid-and long-term effect of total hip replacement.

To determine the effect of CX43 expression on gastric mucosa apoptosis and proliferation under stress conditions, a water immersion-restraint stress(WRS) model was performed with SD rats. Apoptotic cells were quantitated in gastric mucosa by terminal deoxynucleatidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick and labelling (TUNEL) techniques. Cell proliferation was detected by immunohistochemical staining for proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA). The expression of CX43 mRNA was detected by in situ hybridization. The results revealed that in control rats not exposed to WRS, apoptotic cells were seen only occasionally at the surface epithelium, The PCNA cells occurred in the proliferation zone of the gastric glands. The CX43 mRNA predomination occurred in the zone of the gastric glands. In contrast, the apoptotic quantities rose significantly 2h to 5h after the termination of WRS and reach a peak gradually, while PCNA proteins and the CX43 mRNA decreased significantly. At 8~12h after WRS the apoptotic cells gradually declined, while the PCNA cells increased to reach a peak. The CX43 mRNA almost returned to normal level and then increased to reach a peak. At 24h after WRS, the apoptotic cells remained significantly higher than normal level while the expression of PCNA proteins and CX43 mRNA returned to the values observed in the intact rats. These results suggested the expression of CX43 might associate with cellular differentiation, proliferation and the stabilization of glandular zone and affect the apoptosis of the surface epithelium.

Table tennis as an exercise can meet the basic principles for mentally retarded children rehabilitation. Some empirical data showed that it is effective on varying degrees of mentally retardation. In addition, it is valuable in some other aspect, such as politics, economy, culture, and education.

Congenital lower urinary tract obstruction in the fetus and is rare in neonates, but it is identified in-creasingly in the era of prenatal sonography and resulted in substantial perinatal mortality with lifelong morbidity. Poste-rior urethral valves, urethral atresia, and prune - belly syndrome are the frequently reported causes of lower urinary tract obstruction. Despite the completion of a randomized trial, the benefit of prenatal intervention with vesicoamniotic shunt placement remains unclear. The management of these disease in fetus and newborns requires appropriate urinary tract decompression, subspecially support, and definitive diagnosis with endoscopy and radiography. Now,the recent progress of diagnosis and treatment of congenital lower urinary tract obstruction were reviewed.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the relationships between the unstable coronary lesions and the levels of serum C-reactive protein(CRP) and urico-acid (UA).Methods 205 patients with primary diagnoses as coronary heart disease were examined by selective coronary angiography, and in the mean time ,the serum CRP and UA levels were measured. These patients were grouped the control, the unstable coronary lesion group and stable coronary lesion group according to the extent of coronary artery atherosclerosis stenosis. All data were undergone statistical analysis. Results The serum CRP level in unstable coronary lesion group was higher than that in stable coronary lesion group(P0 05).Conclusions The serum CRP level is significantly positive relation with the unstable coronary lesions. The serum UA level is not association with the unstable coronary lesions.

Objective To investigate the effect of antiulcer agents Omeprazole, Misoprostol and Talcid on the gastric mucosa lesion by analyzing the gastric mucosa cell apoptosis and proliferation and CX43 transcriptional expression. Methods Mucosa lesion were evaluated by UI, 32 mice were randomly divided in equal numble into Omprazole (O), Misoprostol (M), Talcid (T), Comparison (C). Apoptosis cells in gastric mucosa were quantitated by terminal deoxynucleatidyl transferase mediared dUTP nick and labelling (TUNEL) techniques, while the expression of PCNA proteins were detected by immunohistochemical staining, CX43 mRNA was detected by In situ hyberdization. at 2h after WRS. Results We found that in comparison with control group, the group of pretreatment with Omeprazole, Misoprostol and Talcid showed a significant reduction in damaged mucosa and epithelial cell apoptosis and increase in the expression of PCNA proteins, and the effect of Omeprazole and Misoprostol was better than Talcid. All three antiulcer agents increased CX43 mRNA expression, the effect of Misoprostol and Talcid was better than Omeprazole. Conclusions Omeprazole, Misoprostol and Talcid can attenuate the multiple gastric mucosa lesion induced by WRS. It may be the ultimate way to prevent and cure stress ulcer by exerting direct cytoprotective effect to improve the cell ability and inhibit stress injury.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
A gas chromatographic method has been developed for determining glycerin concentrations of both therapeutic and physiological levels in serum. The linear relationship was obtained in the range of 1.6-800 ug/ml and the coefficient variations determined within a day and between days were 2.2% and 2.4% respectively. Recoveries of glycerol from serum were about 87%.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of embolizing carotid-cavernous sinus fistula(CCF) by superior ophthalmic vein(SOV) approaches.Design Retrospective case series.Participants 11 patients with CCF diagnosed by digital subtraction angiography(DSA) were failurers of traditional artery approaches. Methods All pathents were treated with embolizing carotid-cavernous sinus fistula by superor ophthalmic vein approaches.Main Outcome Measures visual acuity, exophthalmos, ocular movement, diplopia, conjunctival hyperemia, ocular fundus changes. Results Clinical cure was achieved in all 11 patients during follow-up for 1 week to 3 months.Six patients with symptoms of exophthalmos disappeared and five improved.8 cases with conjunctival hyperemia vanished and 3 cases relieved. The three patients with decreases of 8 visual acuity, among these one patient was normal and two improved.Intracalvarium strepitus and diplopia were all disappeared and ocular movement was normal. Conclusion Embolizing CCF by SOV is safe and effective when performed by a multidisciplinary team.

ObjectiveTo adopt a new suture technique the core long-distance buried for repair of flexor tendon rupture which was designed by author and could lessen adhesion.Methods60 human cadaver flexor digitorum tendons were divided into 3 groups and sewed by core long-distance buried suture, Kessler's technique and Bunnell's technique respectively. Instron-testing machine was used to test gap formation force, 2 mm gap formation force and maximum load. 30 hen second and third toe flexor profundus tendons were divided into 2 groups, each group of tendons were transected and repaired by core long-distance buired suture and Kessler's technique respectively. Information of tendon healing and tendon adhesion was observed in the 3rd, 4th and 6th weeks after operation.ResultsIn the group of using core long-distance buried suture technique, the gap formation, 2 mm gap formation and maximum load in were higher than that using Kessler's technique and Bunnell's technique, the effects of lessening adhesion and promoting tendon healing were better than that in the Kessler's technique group.ConclusionCore long-distance buried suture can offer great tensile strength needed by clinic, and allow early motion and lessen adhesion after operation.
