Objective To explore some features of the sonographic appearance of recurrent and revival pheochromoeytoma (PHEO) in order to get some references in the clinical diagnosis.Methods To compare sonograms of 10 patients with recurrent and revival PHEO with sonograms of 60 cases(contrast group)with unrecurrent and unrevival PHEO in the same period.Results There was significant difference between the two groups and contrast group(G=9.475,P=0.002).However there was no significance in the incidence of malignant PHEO between recurrent and revival one(P>0.05).The echo of tumor:complex echo 2 cases,purely solid hypoecho 5 cases and hffperecho 1 case.Conclusions The tumor with recurrent and revival PHEO could have potential malignancy,the PHEO at the extra-adrenal often showed a phenomenon of recurrence,and the malignant PHEO appeared the multiple character.

Objective To analyse MRI and MRCP features of primary gallbladder carcinoma.Methods MRI and MRCP data of 87 cases with gallbladder carcinoma confirmed by operation and pathology were studied retrospectively.Results Four patterns of gallbladder carcinomas were found by MRI:wall thickening (35 cases),papillary nodular(17 cases),mass-type (25 cases) and mixed (wall thickening and nodular) (10 cases).Pathology showed the tumors in combination with chronic cholecystitis and cholecystolithiasis in 69 cases(79.31%).In comparison with that of operations,the accurate diagnostic rates were 46/50(92%) with MR imaging,13/19(68.4%) with MRCP and 80/82(97.6%) in combination with both MR imaging and MRCP.The other features included:hepatic invasion directly by gallbladder cancer in 25/32(78.12%),liver metastases in 17/19(89.47%),lymph node metastases in 28/34(82.35%),intra-adbominal distant metastases in 13/13(100%) and invasion of bile ducts in 25/26(96.15%).Conclusion MRI combined with MRCP is of significant value in diagnosing gallbladder carcinoma.

ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between recent cardiac events and the score of myocardial infarction by delayed-enhancement MRI (DE-MRI).Methods DE-MRI was performed in 40 subjects with coronary artery disease.The score of myocardial infarction by DE-MRI,the ejection fraction (EF) by echocardiography,recent cardiac events (the number of weekly nitroglycerin,the number of weekly angina episodes and the onset number of heart failure in the last year),6-minute walking distance,as well as the Seattle angina questionnaire (SAQ) score were assessed.The Spearman correlation test and Kruskal-Wallis test,Mann-Whitney test were used for the statistics.ResultsThere were negative correlation between the myocardial infarction score by DE-MRI (median 12,inter-quartile range:6.0-19.8) and the 6-minute walking distance(378.93 ± 100.53 ),SAQ score (74.55 ± 11.40 ) (r was 0.66 and 0.54,P ＜0.05).The myocardial infarction score by DE-MRI was strongly correlated with the number of weekly nitroglycerin ( median 1 ; inter-quartile range:0-2.8),the number of weekly angina episodes ( median 3,inter-quartile range:1-6.5 ) and the onset number of heart failure in the last year ( median 0,inter-quartile range:0-2) (r was 0.87,0.85 and 0.89,P ＜0.05).EF [(49.2 ± 13.72)％] was negative correlation with the number of weekly nitroglycerin,the number of weekly angina episodes and the onset number of heart failure in the last year (r were 0.67,0.73 and 0.73,P ＜0.05).ConclusionDE-MRI can be used for evaluation and prediction of future cardiac events.

Objective To explore the ischemic myocardial perfusion and viability.Methods Ten successful pigs with myocardial infarction model underwent MRI first-pass myocardial perfusion examinations preoperatively and 24 hours,72 hours and one week postoperation.After MRI examinations,the experimental pigs were executed and the samples underwent TTC staining and pathological examination.Results The preoperative myocardial perfusion in the all of the 10 pigs was nomal,but there were myocardial perfusion decrease and defects in 8 experimental pigs after operation,the perfusion curves in the area with perfusion defects had no obvious peak,but there was gradual increase in the end of the performance.The perfusion peak of the area with perfusion decrease was lower than that of normal inferior and lateral myocardial wall(P＜0.05) and the peak perfusion time was delayed compared with that of normal inferior and lateral myocardial wall (P＜0.05).There was myocardial necrosis in the perfusion defects areas that was certified by TTC staining and pathological examination.The intersititial edema and myocardial degeneration could be seen in the perfusion reduced areas.Conclusion MRI fist-pass myocardial perfusion imaging combined with perfusion curve analysis can evaluate the perfusion changes of the regional myocardial microcirculation.

Objective:To investigate the effect of early gradual diet on reducing delirium in elderly patients with hip arthroplasty.Methods:From January 2018 to January 2020, 74 cases of hip arthroplasty patients aged over 65 years old who were treated in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University were selected as the observation objects. They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 37 cases in each group. The experimental group was given early gradual diet on the basis of routine postoperative care, while the control group was given routine postoperative diet on the basis of routine postoperative care. The incidence of postoperative delirium, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), patient satisfaction rate, average hospitalization days and average hospitalization expenses were used to evaluate the effect of early gradual diet on reducing delirium in elderly patients with hip arthroplasty.Results:The incidence of delirium in the experimental group was 2.70% (1/37) and 16.22% (6/37) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 value was 3.945, P<0.05); the hospitalization days of the experimental group were (10.68±5.13) d, (13.62±7.19) d in the control group. The difference of hospitalization days was statistically significant ( t value was 2.877, P<0.01). The incidence of difficulty in falling asleep and the satisfaction rate of the experimental group were 8.11% (3/37) and 94.59% (35/37) respectively, and those in the control group were 29.73% (11/37) and 78.38% (29/37) respectively, and the differences were statistically significant ( χ2 value was 5.638, 4.163, P<0.05). Conclusions:Early gradual diet after operation can reduce the incidence of delirium in elderly patients with hip arthroplasty, shorten the average hospitalization days, reduce the incidence of difficulty in falling asleep, improve patients' satisfaction, and help patients to pass through the perioperative period more safely and comfortably.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum miR-501 and miR-195 levels and sensitivity to concurrent chemoradiotherapy in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC).Methods:Clinical data of 96 patients with LACC admitted to Nanyang Central Hospital from January 2020 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed and compared with those of 96 healthy subjects during physical examination in our hospital during the same period to compare the differences of serum miR-501 and miR-195 levels. Tumor status was reviewed at 6 months after concurrent chemoradiotherapy. Patients were divided into the sensitive and resistant groups according to the evaluation criteria of solid tumor efficacy. The relationship between serum miR-501 and miR-195 levels and the sensitivity to concurrent chemoradiotherapy in LACC patients was analyzed by univariate and multivariate analyses. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was also drawn to predict differential efficacy of concurrent chemoradiotherapy sensitivity in LACC patients. Multivariate analysis was conducted by binary logistic regression analysis. P<0.05 indicated statistically significant differences. Results:In LACC patients, serum miR-501 level was significantly higher, whereas serum miR-195 level was significantly lower than those in physical examination subjects (both P<0.05). Univariate analysis showed that serum miR-501 level at admission in the resistant group was significantly higher, whereas serum miR-195 level was significantly lower than those in the sensitive group (both P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that serum miR-501 and miR-195 levels were significantly correlated with the sensitivity to concurrent chemoradiotherapy in LACC patients. The area under the ROC curve (AUC) was 0.736 and 0.913, respectively. Conclusions:The higher the serum miR-501 level and the lower the serum miR-195 level before treatment, the higher the probability of resistance to concurrent chemoradiotherapy in LACC patients. Serum miR-501 and miR-195 levels of LACC patients before treatment have certain predictive value for the sensitivity to concurrent chemoradiotherapy.
