Objective:To observe the effect of combined Sanjin Tablets and antibiotic on women with urinary tract infection after sex life. Methods: 306 patients were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group, taking oral SanJin Tablets and intravenous drip of ciprofloxacin, and the control group only ciprofloxacin given by intravenous drip, treatment course lasted for half a month. Results: In the treatment group, the total effective rate reached 96.77% and the rate of symptomatic improvement was 100.00%, and those indexes in the control group can only reached 80.00% and 82.35% respectively. AIM: The goal of the present study was to evaluate the possibility about enterogenous endotoxemia in pathogenesis of hepatopulmonary syndrome. METHODS: The rat model of cirrhosis was prepared with compound factors. A small dose of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) was administered intraperitoneally once to aggravate endotoxemia of animal with cirrhosis. The normal rats injected with LPS or injected with LPS combined with glycine (LPS antagonist) were designed as controls. RESULTS: Hepatopulmonary syndrome of rats with cirrhosis had occurred in the end of eighth weeks. Pulmonary pathological changes of cirrhosis rats were exacerbated after administration of a given dose of LPS. Glycine sharply antagonized the biological effect of LPS in vivo and in vitro, inhibited the production of TNF-? by LPS and alleviated various pathological changes of hepatopulmonary syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: Enterogenous endotoxemia in cirrhosis rats might be an important mechanism in the development of hepatopulmonary syndrome. Endotoxin and its mediating effect by way of cytokines (TNF-?) may play a role in the pathogenesis of hepatopulmonary syndrome.

Based on the surgical model using transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) to treat lumbar spondylolisthesis, this paper presents the investigations of the biomechanical characteristics of cage and pedicle screw in lumbar spinal fusion implant fixed system under different combinations with finite element method. Firstly, combining the CT images with finite element pretreatment software, we established three dimensional nonlinear finite element model of human lumbar L4-L5 segmental slight slippage and implant under different fixed combinations. We then made a comparison analysis between the biomechanical characteristics of lumbar motion range, stress distribution of cage and pedicle screw under six status of each model which were flexion, extension, left lateral bending, right lateral bending, left axial rotation and right axial rotation. The results showed that the motion ranges of this model under different operations were reduced above 84% compared with those of the intact model, and the stability of the former was improved significantly. The stress values of cage and pedicle screw were relatively larger when they were fixed by single fusion device additional unilateral pedicle screw, but there was no statistically significant difference. The above research results would provide reference and confirmation for further biomechanics research of TLIF extracorporal specimens, and finally provide biomechanical basis for the feasibility of unilateral internal fixed diagonal intervertebral fusion TLIF surgery.

[Objective] To learn about the genetic diversity,we studied the five X-chromosomal STR (X-STR) loci in Guangdong Han Nationality Groups.[Methods] The five Loci (DXS6803,DXS981,DXS6809,DXS6789,and DXS7132) were amplified in a pentaplex PCR reaction.PCR products were analyzed using capillary electrophoresis and ABI prism 3100 Genetic Analyzer,with GeneMapper ID 3.1 Analysis Software.[Results] A total of 363 individuals (181 unrelated male and 182 unrelated female) from Guangdong Han population were tested,54 alleles were observed for these loci.Polymorphism information content is 0.6935 ～ 0.8177.Power of discrimination in females was 0.8976 ～ 0.9562.Mean exclusion chance for X-STR in standard trios with daughters was 0.7805 ～ 0.8467.[Conclusion] The five loci in the multiplex system provide high polymorphism information for forensic identification and paternity testing,particularly for difficult paternity deficiency cases.

Objective In order to lay the foundation for establishment of a clean grade Meriones meridianus popu-lation, and provide reference for the formulation of Meriones meridianus parasite detection standard.Methods A survey of parasite infection in Meriones meridianus was carried out, and three kinds of antiparasitic drugs, tetramethrin/per-methrin, praziquantel, and tinidazole were used in high-, medium-and low-doses for eradication of the target parasites. Results Three types of parasites were detected among the animals.The infection rate of surface parasite Myobia musculi was 82.1%(23/28), that of intestinal parasite Hymenolepis nana was 78.1% (25/32) and Tritrichomonas muris was 90.6%(29/32).Significant results of parasite eradication were achieved with the antiparasitic drugs.Medicated bath u-sing 1%tetramethrin/permethrin for 30 s every 4 days for 5 times and 1.5%tetramethrin/permethrin for 30 s every 4 days for 3 times completely eradicated the surface Myobia musculi infection.Praziquantel in a dose of 31 mg/kg by daily gastric gavage for consecutive 7 days was the optimal dosage to completely eradicate the intestinal Hymenolepis nana.Tinidazole in a dose of 42 mg/kg administered by gastric gavage daily for consecutive 7 days was the optimal dosage for eradication of in-testinal Tritrichomonas muris infection.Conclusions Three types of parasites are detected in Meriones meridianus in our laboratory, i.e.surface infection with Myobia musculi, and intestinal infection with Tritrichomonas muris and Hymenolepis nana.Tetramethrin/permethrin, praziquantel and tinidazole can be used to effectively eradicate these three types of para-sites, respectively.

OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of Bifidobacterium triple viable capsules in the adjunctive treatment of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)positive chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)complicated with anxiety-depression. METHODS:A total of 100 Hp positive CAG patients with anxiety-depression were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table,with 50 cases in each group. Control group was given standard triple therapy (rabeprazole+amoxicillin and clavulanate+levofloxacin). Observation group was additionally given Bifidobacterium triple viable capsules 0.42 g,tid. The treatment lasted for 14 d in both groups. Clinical efficacies,Hp eradication rates as well as HAMA and HAMD scores before and after treatment were all observed in 2 group. The occurrence of ADR was compared. RESULTS:Total response rate of observation group was 94.0%,and Hp eradication rate was 92.0%,which were significantly higher than 76.0% and 78.0% of control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in HAMA and HAMD scores in 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment,HAMA and HAMD scores of 2 groups were decreased significantly,the observation group was significantly lower than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). The incidence of ADR in observation group (4.0%)was significantly lower than control group(20.0%),with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Adjunctive use of Bifidobacterium triple viable capsules can significantly improve Hp eradication rate,clinical symptom,anxiety and depres-sion,while reduce the incidence of ADR.

Objective To investigate antimicrobial resistance of Escherichia coli (E.coli)and Klebsiella pneumoniae (K.pneumoniae),antimicrobial use density(AUD),as well as relation between antimicrobial resistance and AUD in a ter-tiary first-class hospital.Methods Antimicrobial resistance rates of clinically-isolated E.coli and K.pneumoniae,AUD of carbapenems and quinolones,as well as relation between resistance and AUD in 2013-2015 were statistically analyzed. Results Correlation analysis of antimicrobial resistance of bacteria and AUD showed that the decrease in resistance rate of E.coli to levofloxacin was related to the decrease in the use density of quinolones(r=0.61,P=0.03);increase in resist-ance rate of K.pneumoniae to imipenem was related to the increase in the use density of carbapenems(r=0.78,P<0.01). Conclusion Antimicrobial use is one of the causes of bacterial resistance,management on antimicrobial use needs to be strengthened to reduce the threat of bacterial resistance to human health.

Objective We aimed to investigate whether magnetic stent has preventive effect on in-stent restenosis by observing expressions of matrix metalioproteinase (MMP)2,MMP9,tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase (TIMP)1 and TIMP2 after balloon angioplasty,bare and magnetic stent implantation in rabbits.Methods Rabbits underwent balloon angioplasty,bare and magnetic stent implantation in the left iliac arteries.The changes of MMPs and TIMPs were examined at various time points in the injured arteries using the methods of zymography,Western blot analysis,reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and morphometric analysis.Results Balloon angioplasty group (BA) and magnetic stent group (MS) showed lower intrinsic gelatinolytic activity and higher expression of TIMPs with less intimae hyperplasia;Whereas bare stent (BS) group exhibited higher intrinsic gelatinolytic activity and lower expression of TIMPs with significant intimae hyperplasia.Conclusion Magnetic stent probably has preventive effect on in-stent restenosis by changing intrinsic matrix metalloproteinases activity and expression of TIMPs.

Objective To investigate the preventive effect of magnetic stent on coronary restenosis after percutaneous arterial stenting.Methods Twenty rabbits were divided randomly into 2 groups.Bare stent(BS group,n=10)or magnetic stent(MS group,n=10)wasimplanted in the left iliac artery of the rabbits of the 2 groups,respectively.Aspirin (25mg,qd )was administered orally to the rabbitsof both groups from 3 days before stenting until the rabbits were executed.Unfractionated heparin (2500u,qd) was delivered subcuta-neously after stenting for 7days.Five rabbits of each group were randomly selected to be executed at 7 or 30 days.Stmctural changesin the iniured arteries were studied by optical microscopey,transmissive electronic microscopey and immunohistochemistry.ResultsAt 7 days.more myofibroblasts were found migrating from adventitia to tunica media and intima in BS group than in MS group.insidethe media and intima,large amount of smooth muscle cells of synthetic type were observed.At 30 days after stenting,in magnetic group,most uascular smooth musele cells(SMCs)under the intima had transformed to contractile type and only little extracellular matrix(ECM)was observed around the SMCs;whereas,in BS group,the SMCs remained to be synthetic type and large amount of ECM wasobserved around the SMCs.which was composed mainly of proteoglycans and glycoproteins. Conclusions Magnetic stent caninhibit proliferation and migration of SMCs and reducing the production of ECM.and therefore,may prevent restenosis after coronarystenting.

In the present study, a finite element model of L4-5 lumbar motion segment was established based on the CT images and a combination with image processing software, and the analysis of lumbar biomechanical characteristics was conducted on the proposed model according to different cases of flexion, extension, lateral bending and axial rotation. Firstly, the CT images of lumbar segment L4 to L5 from a healthy volunteer were selected for a three dimensional model establishment which was consisted of cortical bone, cancellous bone, posterior structure, annulus, nucleus pulposus, cartilage endplate, ligament and facet joint. The biomechanical analysis was then conducted according to different cases of flexion, extension, lateral bending and axial rotation. The results showed that the established finite element model of L4-5 lumbar segment was realistic and effective. The axial displacement of the proposed model was 0.23, 0.47, 0.76 and 1.02 mm, respectively under the pressure of 500, 1 000, 1 500 and 2 000 N, which was similar to the previous studies in vitro experiments and finite element analysis of other people under the same condition. The stress distribution of the lumbar spine and intervertebral disc accorded with the biomechanical properties of the lumbar spine under various conditions. The established finite element model has been proved to be effective in simulating the biomechanical properties of lumbar spine, and therefore laid a good foundation for the research of the implants of biomechanical properties of lumbar spine.
