In order to simplify the distal femoral comminuted fracture surgery and improve the accuracy of the parts to be reset, a kind of surgery orienting model for the surgery operation was designed according to the scanning data of computer tomography and the three-dimensional reconstruction image. With the use of DiMetal-280 selective laser melting rapid prototyping system, the surgery orienting model of 316L stainless steel was made through orthogonal experiment for processing parameter optimization. The technology of direct manufacturing of surgery orienting model by selective laser melting was noted to have obvious superiority with high speed, precise profile and good accuracy in size when compared with the conventional one. The model was applied in a real surgical operation for thighbone replacement; it worked well. The successful development of the model provides a new method for the automatic manufacture of customized surgery model, thus building a foundation for more clinical applications in the future.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2021;29(7):462-467
Objective :
To investigate the inhibitory effect of baicalin on Streptococcus mutans UA159 in vitro.
Methods :
The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of baicalin on Streptococcus mutans UA159 was determined by the liquid multiple dilution method combined with the OD600 value measured by microplate. The OD600 value of Streptococcus mutans UA159 in different concentrations of baicalin was measured by an enzyme mapping instrument. A growth curve was drawn, and the adhesion rate and adhesion inhibition rate were calculated. The effect of baicalin on the formation of Streptococcus mutans UA159 biofilms was observed by the crystal violet quantitative method and scanning electron microscopy. The effect of baicalin on the total number of Streptococcus mutans UA159 bacteria was observed by scanning electron microscopy.
Results:
The MIC of baicalin on Streptococcus mutans UA159 was 12 mg/mL. With increasing baicalin concentration, the growth rate of Streptococcus mutans UA159 was slowed, the adhesion rate of Streptococcus mutans UA159 decreased and the adhesion inhibition rate increased(P < 0.05). The results of crystal violet quantitative method showed that compared with the bacterial control group, the biofilm formation of Streptococcus mutans UA159 was significantly reduced after adding baicalin at 0 h, 6 h and 12 h (P < 0.001). Under a scanning electron microscope, the total number of bacteria decreased significantly after adding baicalin at 0 h, 6 h and 12 h.
Conclusion

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of thalidomide in a mouse model of paraquat-induced acute lung injury and the mechanisms underlying the properties of thalidomide.
METHODSMale ICR mice were randomly allocated into four groups: nomal control group (n = 30), thalidomide control group (n = 30), paraquat poisioning group (n = 30) and thalidomide treatment group (n = 90). Mice were sacrificed at 1d, 3d and 7d after paraquat poisioning. The level of (MDA) malondialdehyde, Superoxidedi-smutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) in the lung tissue were measuerd by chemical colorimetry. The expression of Nrf2 mRNA was determined by RT-PCR; Nuclear protein Nrf2 was abserved by Western blotting; Pathological changes of lung tissue were observed under light microscope by HE stain; the lung apoptosis cells were detected by TUNEL.
RESULTSThe levels of MDA, SOD and the expressions Nrf2 mRNA and protein Nrf2 in lung tissue were all markedly increased in mice of paraquat poisioning group than those in nomal group at 1 d, 3 d, 7 d. In contrast, the levels of GSH were decreaseel (P<0.05). Compared with paraquat poisioning group, the pulmonary SOD, Nrf2 mRNA and protein were increased and the lung wet dry ratio were all significantly decreased in mice of THD treatment group at 1 d, 3 d, 7 d (P<0.05). THD alleviated the pulmonary damage in the lightmicroscope at 3d after paraquat poisioning. The apoptosis index was markedly decreased in THD treatment groups comparing to paraquat piosioning group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONSLipid peroxide damage was one of the mechanisms of paraquat poisioning, thalidomide could attenuate paraquat-induced acute lung injury and its mechanism may be activating the Nrf2-ARE signaling pathway to protect mouse from Lipid peroxide damage.
