Objective To observe the effect of Du moxibustion health care underwear intervention effects on quality of life and immunity of sub-health Yang deficiency. Methods Sub healthy Yang deficiency subjects were randomly divided into observation group and control group,30 cases in each group. The observation group in Du moxibustion health care underwear for 12 weeks, the control group in ordinary clothes, with quality of life scale (SF-36) to observe the change of their integral quality of life energy, physical function, emotional function and mental health of four indicators,IgA and IgG in blood were detected by scatter turbidity rate method.Flow cytometry was used to detect CD4+ and CD8+ in blood. Results The scores of physiological function, energy, emotional function and mental health in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.01).The levels of IgA,IgG and CD4+ in bservation group were significantly higher than those before, and CD4+ was lower, and the difference were statistically significant when compared with the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Du moxibustion health care underwear sub-health Yang deficiency can improve their quality of life and immunity.
2.Development of non-traumatic-pain acupuncture-moxibustion apparatus and its industrialization.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2017;37(6):673-676
In order to alleviate the discomforts induced by the invasive manipulation of acupuncture, improve the acceptability of acupuncture-moxibustion therapy and promote the application of it in healthcare, the research team developed the non-traumatic-pain acupuncture-moxibustion apparatus for disease treatment and prevention as well as healthcare, such as crude herbal moxibustion plus cupping device (cupping device), the healthcare cloth for warming the governor vessel (healthcare cloth) and the governor vessel intelligent diagnosis apparatus (diagnosis apparatus). Cupping device was developed through the integration of crude herb extract for moxibustion and silica gel, which is used specially on the governor vessel, Jiaji (EX-B2) and the bladder meridian of food-for chronic disorders and healthcare. The healthcare cloth was prepared with hi-tech thermal material and on the basis ofnourishment of the governor vessel, acting on warming, benefitingand promotingcirculation. It is applicable for the people of 7 body constitutions, such as neutral constitution, deficiency constitution anddeficiency constitution to regulate the body constitution. The diagnosis apparatus integrates the functions of diagnosis and treatment as well as data analysis, implying the future of "internet+" medical development of TCM. The industrialization of non-traumatic-pain acupuncture-moxibustion apparatus should be guided under the national policy and use fully the advantage of internet so as to maintain and promote the people's health through the industry-university-research cooperation.

Objective To explore the application and effectiveness of one-staged or two-staged hybrid minimally invasive surgical and transcatheter ablation for long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation(LSPAF).Methods From Jun 2015 to Dec 2017,a cohort of 56 patients[18 female, mean age of(59.1 ±6.9) years] with long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation underwent one-staged(30 cases) or two-staged(26 cases) hybrid minimally invasive surgical and transcatheter ablation.Mean AF duration was(5.9 ± 3.0) years.Mean left atrial diameter was(45.4 ± 4.2) mm.Mean CHA2DS2-VASc score was 2.3 ± 1.2.Fourteen cases had a history of prior catheter ablation. All patients underwent continuous 24-hour or 48-hour holter monitoring at 3 months,6 months,1 year and yearly thereafter. Results All patients successfully underwent one-staged or two-staged hybrid minimally invasive surgical and transcatheter ablation.During ablation,LSPAF was terminated in 80.0% (24/30) with one-staged hybrid ablation and 84.6% (22/26) with two-staged hybrid ablation. At a mean follow-up of(20.3 ± 8.2) months,89.3% (50/56) patients maintained sinus rhythm.Among them,86.7% (26/30) patients with one-staged hybrid ablation maintained sinus rhythm, and 92.3% (50/56) patients with two-staged hybrid ablation maintained sinus rhythm.Six patients with recurrent AF continued to receive warfarin and amiodarone drug therapy. No death or cerebrovascular events occurred. No patient required permanent pacemaker implantation. Conclusion One-staged or two-staged hybrid minimally invasive surgical and transcatheter ablation could be safely and effectively applied to the treatment of LSPAF.The early and midterm outcomes were satisfactory.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the anti-inflammatory effect and mechanisms of interleukin-35 (IL-35) in inflammatory bowel disease.
METHODS:
BALB/c mice were divided into three groups with 10 mice in each group:control group, model group (oral administration of 4% glucan sodium sulfate for 7 d) and IL-35-treated group (oral administration of 4% glucan sodium sulfate for 7 d, intraperitoneal injection of 2 μg IL-35 at d2-5). Disease activity index (DAI) was scored every day. After 7 d, the mice were sacrificed, and the serum and intestinal tissue samples were collected. The gross morphology of the colon was observed; HE staining was used to observe the pathological changes of colon tissue; flow cytometry was employed to detect the change of macrophage polarization ratio in colon tissue; the mRNA expression levels of cytokines IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL-10 and SHIP1 in colon tissue were determined by real-time quantitative RT-PCR; the expression and distribution of SHIP1 in colon tissue was measured by immunohistochemistry; Western blotting was adopted to detect the expression level of SHIP1 protein in colonic intestinal tissues of each group.
RESULTS:
The DAI scores of the mice in the model group were higher than those in the control group, while the DAI scores in the IL-35-treated group were lower than those in the model group (all <0.01). Compared with the control group, the colon length was significantly shortened in the model group (<0.05), while the colon length of the IL-35-treated group had an increasing trend compared with the model group, but the difference was not statistically significant (>0.05). Compared with the model group, microscopic inflammatory infiltration score was decreased and microscopic crypt destruction and score was significantly lower in IL-35-treated group (all <0.05). The relative expression of proinflammatory cytokines IL-6, TNF-α and IFN-γ in the colon tissue of IL-35-treated group was decreased compared with the model group, while the relative expression of IL-10 mRNA was higher than that of the model group (all <0.05). Compared with the control group, the proportion of M1 macrophages in the model group increased (<0.05), while the proportion of M1 macrophages in the IL-35-treated group was lower than that in the model group (<0.05). The relative expression of SHIP1 mRNA and protein in the colon tissue of IL-35-treated group was higher than that in the model group (all <0.05).
CONCLUSIONS
IL-35 can inhibit the polarization of M1 macrophages and regulate inflammatory cytokines to promote anti-inflammatory effect on mice with colitis.
