Objective:To investigate the sensitivities and specificities of high-frequency color doppler ultrasonography, thin layer CT enhancing scan and 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy in diagnosis of secondary hyperparathyroidism(SHPT)in uremia patients.Methods: High-frequency color doppler ultrasonography, thin layer CT enhancing scan and 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy were performed in 35 uric patients to detect the hyperplastic parathyroid glands. Then biopsies with thin needles were conducted with B ultrasound instruction in hyperplastic glands to determine the sensitivities and specificities of the above techniques and free combination of each 2 of them in diagnosis of SHPT. Results: The sensitivities /specificities of high-frequency color doppler ultrasonography, thin layer CT enhancing scan and 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy were 73%/95%, 75%/93% and 89%/98%, respectively; the sensitivity/specificity of 4 combinations: high-frequency color doppler ultrasonography plus CT, high-frequency color doppler ultrasonography plus 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy, CT plus 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy,and high-frequency color doppler ultrasonography plus CT plus 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy were 84%/90%, 93%/93%, 95%/93%, and 100%/90%, respectively. Conclusion: The sensitivity of 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy SHPT is higher than that of high-frequency color doppler ultrasonography and CT, but the specificity is not significantly different 3 photographic techniques. However, combination of high-frequency color doppler ultrasonography and 99m Tc-MIBI biphasic scintigraphy is simple and sensitive and can be regarded as the first choice for diagnosis of SHPT in uremia patients.

Glioma is the most common form of brain cancer. Despite recent advances in the treatment of solid tumors, there are few effective treatments for malignant gliomas due to its infiltrative nature. It has important significance to improve the treatment of glioma through in-depth understanding the intracerebral metabolic characteristics and pharmacokinetics of chemotherapeutics. Brain microdialysis (B-MD), an effective method to monitor central nervous system anticancer drug disposition, conditions of drugs through the blood-brain barrier, basic pathophysiologic metabolism, bioactive compounds and the changes of neurotransmitter in brain, provides the unique opportunity to allow the simultaneous determination of unbound concentrations of drugs in several tissues, and directly measure gliomas biochemistry continuously. B-MD has been able to monitor the change of brain drugs, metabolites and neurotransmitters, dynamic analysis of the drug concentration and pharmacological effect after administration, pharmacodynamic interaction between drugs, receptor mechanism of drug transport, as well as feedback information of internal environment. B-MD is expected to provide reference for clinical individual chemotherapy of glioma, but also provide powerful tools for the evaluation of new anticancer drugs in vivo. In this review, a comprehensive overview of B-MD for studies on glioma is elucidated with special emphasis on its application to neurochemistry and pharmacokinetic studies.

Objective To investigate the effects of intrathecal (IT) gabapentin on the analgesic efficacy of morphine in a rat model of incisional pain. Methods Forty-eight male SD rats in which IT catheters were successly inserted according to the method described by Yaksh were randomly divided into 6 groups ( n = 8 each): Ⅰ sham operation group, Ⅱ incisional pain group, Ⅲ GBP 50 μg group, Ⅳ morphine 2.5 μg group, Ⅴ morphine 5 μg group, and Ⅵ morphine 2.5 μg + gabapentin 50 μg group. In group Ⅰ , IT artificial cerebrospinal fluid (ACSF)10 μl was injected and then 1.4% isoflurane was inhaled for 5 min. IT ACSF 10 μl, gabapentin 50μg and morphine 2.5 and 5 μg were injected 30 min before the establishement of the model in group Ⅱ -Ⅴ respectively. Paw withdrawl threshold (PWT) to mechanical stimulation and paw withdrawal latency (PWL) to a thermal nociceptive stimulus were measured at 2 h after the establishement of the model. Results Compared with group Ⅰ , MWT was significantly decreased and TWL was significantly shortened in group Ⅱ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ ( P ＜ 0.05), but no significant change in MWT and TWL was found in group Ⅴ and Ⅵ (P＞0.05). Compared with group Ⅱ , MWT was significantly increased and TWL was significantly prolonged in group Ⅴ and Ⅵ (P ＜ 0.05), but no significant change in MWT and TWL was found in group Ⅲ and Ⅳ/ ( P ＞ 0.05). MWT was significantly decreased and TWL was significantly shortened in group Ⅲ and Ⅳ compared with group Ⅵ ( P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion IT gabapentin enhances the analgesic efficacy of morphine in a rat model of incisional pain.

Objective To investigate the influence of ocular residual astigmatism (ORA) on the correction of astigmatism by FS-LASIK with vector analysis.Methods The records of 182 patients who had accept FS-LASIK between January,2016 and April,2016 were retrosepectively reviewed.The patients whose ORA ≥ refractive cylinder were assigned to high ocular residual astigmatism group (HORA group),ORA ＜ refractive cylinder were assigned to low ocular residual astigmatism group (LORA group).All of the patients were followed 6 months or more.The visual acuity,error ratio and correction ratio were compared between HORA group and LORA group.Results The preoperative ORA of all patients was (0.61 ± 0.27) D,in which ＞ 0.75 D were 58 cases (31.9％),and the HORA group was more than the LORA group (P ＜ 0.05).At postoperative 6 months,there was no statistically significant difference in vision acuity between the HORA group (1.06 ± 0.15) and LORA group (1.08 ± 0.15) (t =0.97,P =0.35).There was statistically significant difference in the error ratio between the HORA group (58.11 ± 63.23) ％ and LORA group (26.12 ± 35.37) ％ (t =3.43,P ＜ 0.05).There was statistically significant difference in the correction ratio between the HORA group (146.45 ± 86.63) ％ and LORA group (122.56 ± 36.31) ％ (t =2.81,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The error ratio and correction ratio of astigmatic correction by FSLASIK is significantly higher in eyes with high ORA than in eyes with low ORA.Vector analysis should been carried out before the FS-LASIK.

A novel molecularly imprinted polymer with adequate attractability for Schistosoma japonicum miracidia was prepared.When adulterated with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA),the fabricated film with good swelling property was formed which can suspend on water and slowly release XF(a chemical to be published).This reusable film can well attract Sch-istosoma japonicum miracidia,and hopefully be used in the prevention of schistosome infection.

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of tuina plus traction for cervical distortion in teenagers.Methods:Tuina plus traction was applied to 40 teenagers with cervical distortion once every other day,and 10 days make up 1 treatment course.The therapeutic effect was evaluated after 2 courses.Result:Significant changes occurred after the treatment:15 cases got correction,20 cases got substantial improvement and 5 cases got certain improvement.Conclusion:Tuina plus traction works effectively for abnormal cervical physiological curve in teenagers.

AIM To analyze the toxicity and inhibitory mechanism of extracts from cultured cells (F 4 cell line) of Taxus chinensis on cancer cell lines SMMC 7721 and HEp 2. METHODS MTT assay for cell viability and flow cytometry for cell cycle analysis. RESULTS IC 50 of SMMC 7721 and HEp 2 were 0 161 4 g DCW?L -1 and 0 275 6 g DCW?L -1 respectively,tumor cells in G 2～M stage all increased with higher concentration and longer incubation of extracts from Taxus chinensis cells. CONCLUSION Extracts from cultured cells of Taxus chinensis could have cytotoxic effect on SMMC 7721 and HEp 2 and could induce apoptosis of both two cancer cells.
