OBJECTIVE: To seek the bionic material myocardial extracellular matrix in the myocardial tissue engineering for the cultured myocardial cells and to provide a reliable scaffold.METHODS: A computer-based online search of CNKI and PubMed database to search articles published between January 1996 and August 2007 on scaffold material of tissue engineering.RESULTS: Natural biological scaffold materials with good biocompatibility and mechanical properties are ideal choice in the cardiac tissue engineering rapid prototyping technology. Natural biological materials such as collagen, chitosan have poor mechanical properties and plasticity, but good biocompatibility, which can be used for rapid prototyping of cardiac stents. The scaffolds which are prepared by the technology such as three-dimensional printing, laser sintering, three-dimensional pressing, selective laser sintering rapid prototyping technology on have the advantages such as high porosity, high surface area volume ratio, completely transparent among the holes, controllable macro-shape, porosity, and independent control of aperture.CONCLUSION: Through the use of dispersion/accumulation forming principle, surface modification of traditional biological materials in cardiac tissue engineering using computers and other high-tech nano-polymer technology is expected to provide ideal myocardial scaffolds.

Object To study the formation of geoherbalism of Flos Lonicerae on the molecular level Methods Genomic DNAs from different populations of Lonicera japonica Thunb , outgroup Lonicera similis Hemsl , and Lonicera confusa DC were extracted, the 5S rRNA gene spacer region amplified, sequuenced, and analysed with Mega 1 02 Results The fragments of 5S rRNA gene spacer region in Lonicera L was about 210 bp with G+C content up to about 70% The sequences were different in various populations, and can be identified by sequencing The genetic distance between L confusa and L japonica was larger Conclusion The genuine distance between species was larger than that within species; the genetic distance among genuine crude drugs was smaller; the genetic distance among genuine and ungenuine crude drugs were bigger than that among genuine crude drugs

【Objective】To observe the effect of fucoidan on lipid metabolism enzyme in hyperlipidemia mice.【Methods】Sixty healthy male SD rats were randomized into 6 groups: normal group, model group, gynostemma pentaphyllum(GP,30 mg/kg) group and low-,moderate-and high-dose fucoidan groups(0.1,0.2 and 0.4 g?kg-1 respectively).Except the normal group, the rats in other groups received high fat emulsion(10 mL?kg-1) by gavage to establish hyperlipidemia models. The activities of lipoprotein lipase(LPL),hepatic lipase(HL) and lecithin cholesterol acyltransferase(LCAT) in different groups were compared.【Results】Serum activities of LPL,HL and LCAT as well as hepatic activities of LPL and HL were increased in low-and moderate-dose fucoidan groups.【Conclusion】Fucoidan decreases the serum triglyceride levels by activating the serum and hepatic LPL and HL activities, and decreases serum cholesterol level by activating hepatic LCAT activity.

Objective T_O analyze the electrophysiological features of shoulder-hand syndrome(SHS)fol- lowing stroke and investigate the relationships between peripheral nerve damage and the factors causing SHS.Meth- ods Fifty-eight stroke patients were divided into an SHS group(39 patients with shoulder-hand syndrome)and a model group(19 patients without shoulder-hand syndrome).Standard sensory and motor nerve conduction studies were performed with 58 of the patients, including sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV),amplitude of the sensory nerve action potential(SNAP),distal motor latency(DMI)and the amplitude of the compound muscle action poten- tial(CMAP)of the median nerve.A needle electromyogram(EMG)test was performed on the abductor pollicis of the affected side with both groups. Results The needle EMG showed abnormal insertion potential, fibrillation po- tential and positive sharp waves in all 39 cases of the SHS group, which was significantly higher than in the model group. The amplitude of the sensory nerve action potential(7.77?4.34 mV)and the amplitude of the compound muscle action potential(10.13?3.15 mV)were significantly lower than those of the model group.Abnormal ampli- tude was more severe in sensory nerves than in motor nerves. Conclusion Peripheral nerve damage was found in the shoulder-hand syndrome patients, and this damage was mainly the dystrophy of axonal neuropathy. The damage severity was more in sensory nerves than in motor nerves. The study could offer an useful clue of prevention and treat- ment of shoulder-hand syndrome.

Objective To study antibiotic resistance phenotypes and genotypes of extended spectrum ?-lactamases (ESBLs) and AmpC ?-lactamase-producing Klebsiella oxytoca isolated from specimens of respiratory tract in children. Methods Bacterial isolates were identified by API or VITEK32. Agar dilution was used for antibiotic susceptibility test, and ESBLs and AmpC were detected by confirmatory test recommended by CLSI/NCCLS and by 3-aminophenylboronic acid (APB) disk potentiation test, respectively.Microarray was used to determine the genotypes of ESBLs and AmpC ?-lactamases.Genotypes of Klebsiella oxytoca were determined by enterobacterial repetitive intergenic consensus (ERIC)- PCR.Results ESBLs were positive in 129 out of 165 isolates (78.2%).Both ESBLs and AmpC ?- lactamases were positive in 16 out of 165 isolates (9.7%).AmpC ?-lactamase alone producer was not detected in term of phenotype and genotype.CTX-M was the most common type of ESBLs and DHA was the only type of AmpC ?-lactamase in these isolates. Most antibiotic resistant strains of Klebsiella oxytoca possessed the same genotype by ERIC-PCR.Although all strains were susceptible to carbpenem,Klebsiella oxytoca with ?-lactamases were more resistant to other antibiotic agents than those without ?- lactamases. Conclusions There is high prevalence of ESBLs production among Klebsiella oxytoca isolated from children in Urumqi. The main genotypes of ESBLs and AmpC ?-lactamases are CTX-M and DHA.

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history, unique system and perfect technology, which has been used to prevent or treat a variety of diseases in the form of compound medicine. Recently, some of the active ingredients from Chinese medicine were found to have self-assembly properties, mainly through non-covalent interactions, including
