1.CLINICAL STUDY ON CHLORHEXIDINE-IODINE COMPLEX TREATMENT OF PERIODONTAL INFECTIONS
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
This paper reports 240 cases of periodontal infections treated with chlorhexidine-iodine, of which 95 were acute periodontal abscess and 48 pericoronitis. A remarkable effective rate was 92.5% and total effective rate was 99.16%.All the clinical symptoms subsided within 4 d and no side effects were detected in the course of the treatment. Chlorhexidine iodine complex inhibited not only anaerobic bacteria but also aerobic bacteria. Therefore. we believe that chlorhexidine iodine is more effective than metroni-dazolum.
2.Application of enhanced recovery after surgery in laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy
Cancer Research and Clinic 2017;29(3):180-183
Objective To evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) combined with laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy (LADG) for gastric cancer. Methods 60 patients with distal gastric cancer from April 2016 to September 2016 in Shanxi Cancer Hospital were enrolled. According to the admission time, the patients were numbered randomly by odd and even. 30 odd patients received conventional treatment (traditional group), and were even 30 incorporated into ERAS group. Record and comparison of two groups were conducted, including age, sex, weight, body mass index (BMI), 1-day preoperative serum albumin (ALB) level, operation time, anastomosis type, total intraoperative blood loss, postoperative TNM staging, bowel movement recovery time, postoperative hospital stay, total cost of hospitalization, complications, and serum ALB level after operation. Results The level of ALB in ERAS group was (36.16 ± 2.46) g/L at 4th day after operation, and (39.61±2.03) g/L at 7th day after operation, which were higher than those in traditional group [(34.38 ±2.31) g/L and (37.98 ±1.96) g/L, respectively], with stable changes and statistical difference (P= 0.006, P= 0.003). The recovery time of intestinal peristalsis in ERAS group was shorter than that in traditional group [(51.23±9.05) h vs. (58.97±9.61) h, P= 0.003], and the total hospitalization cost in ERAS group was less than that in traditional group [(7.23±0.34) × 104 yuan vs. (7.58± 0.37) × 104 yuan, P< 0.001]. There were no significant differences in age, sex, weight, BMI, 1-day preoperative serum ALB level, operative time, anastomosis type, total intraoperative blood loss, postoperative TNM staging, complication and the postoperative hospital stay between the two groups (all P > 0.05). Conclusion The combination of ERAS and laparoscopic-assisted distal gastrectomy is safe and effective compared with traditional ways, which can relieve the stress reaction, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, reduce the hospitalization cost, and accelerate the rehabilitation of patients.
3. Relationship of GSTP1, RASSF1A polymorphisms and environmental agent with susceptibility to prostate cancer: A case-control study
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;31(1):12-17
Objective: To investigate relationship of GSTP1, RASSF1A polymorphisms and environmental agent with susceptibility to prostate cancer (Pca). Methods: The GSTP1 and RASSF1A genotypes were determined by TaqMan/MGB Probe Technology in 103 patients with Pca and 103 normal controls. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to assess the association of smoking, alcohol drinking, tea drinking, weekly pork and beef consumption, and the genetic polymorphisms with the susceptibility to Pca, while taking into consideration of the environmental agent. Results: The frequencies of the GSTP1 AA, AG and GG genotypes were 66.02%, 22.33%, and 11.65% in patients with Pca and 67.96%, 29.13% and 2.91% in controls, respectively, with significant difference found between the two groups (X2 = 6.35, P = 0.04). The frequencies of RASSF1A CC, CA and AA genotypes were 88.34%, 5.83%, and 5.83% in patients with Pca, and 85.44%, 12.62%, and 1.94% in the controls, respectively, with no significant difference found between the two groups (X2 = 4.63, P = 0.10). Multivariate analysis showed a decreased risk in those who had a tea drinking history (OR = 0.40, 95% CI, 0.19-0. 82) and an increased risk in those who had a smoking history (OR = 3.02, 95% CI, 1.44-6. 32). Conclusion: Our results indicate that GSTP1, RASSF1A polymorphisms are not associated with Pca susceptibility in Chinese Han nationality. Smoking is the risk factor of Pca, and tea drinking is a protective factor against Pca.
4. Bioinformatic prediction of the relationship between PPP4RI gene with tumor and its preliminary application in gastric cancer
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(3):275-278
Objective: To investigate the relationship of PPP4R1 gene with the oncogenesis and metastasis of gastric carcinoma by using bioinformatics analysis, and to verify the result by RT-PCR. Methods: IntNetDB was used to search for the neighborhoods of gene PPP4R1 and cliques by CFinder; Chilibot was used to explore the association between the cliques and carcinoma, then the association of PPP4R1 with gastric carcinoma was deduced. Eighteen pairs of primary and metastatic specimens from the same patient and 12 pairs primary carcinoma and the adjacent normal specimens from the same patient were analyzed by RT-PCR for PPP4R1 expression. Results: It was found that the community genes of PPP4R1 included PPP2R5E, MTMR4, PPP3CC, CTDP1, CTDSP1, FLJ22405, PPP1CB, PPP1CC, PPP2R2A, PPP2R5A, PPP2R5C, CTDSP2, and PPP1CA as searched by Cfinder2. 0 when k = 14. Nine of the genes were associated with carcinoma and 2 associated with carcinoma and metastasis. The result of RT-PCR showed that higher expression of PPP4R1 was found in 15 of the 18 primary gastric cancer specimens compared with the paired metastatic specimens (P<0.01); higher expression was also found in 9 of the 12 adjacent normal specimens compared with the paired cancer specimens (P< 0.01). Conclusion: Gene PPP4R1 may be associated with the oncogeriesis and metastasis of gastric carcinoma; bioinformatics is an efficient way to investigate function of new genes.
5.Current status of mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2016;24(1):63-67
Before irreversible neuronal damage occurs, quickly and securely recanalize vessels and restore blood flow to save the ischemic penumbra tissue are the main therapeutic target for acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Currently, the method for recanalization in early AIS is intravenous thrombolysis, how ever, the effect of intravenous thrombolysis is often not satisfactory because of the reasons, such as its short treatment time w indow , low vascular recanalization rate, and high incidence of bleeding complications. In recent years, w ith the research and development of mechanical thrombectomy device and the development of interventional technology, the therapeutic time w indow of AIS has been significantly prolonged, the vascular recanalization rate has increased significantly, the clinical outcome has improved significantly, and the treatment of mechanical thrombectomy has show n good application prospects.
6.Surgical treatment of colorectal cancer liver metastasis
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;(17):845-849
Surgical resection is currently the only cure treatment for colorectal carcinoma liver metastasis (CRLM). The efficien-cy of surgical resection has improved with the development of systemic chemotherapy and targeted drugs and the application of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy in recent years. The number of patients benefiting from surgery has gradually increased. The progression of surgical techniques such as radiofrequency ablation and staged hepatectomy provides chances of cure for patients with CRLM. Multi-disciplinary team creates the opportunity of individual diagnosis and treatment for growing number of patients with CRLM, which, in turn, promotes the treatment of CRLM to a more precise future.

8.Triangle relationship of PTH, intracellular calcium and CaSR in myocardial damage
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2017;33(1):179-183
Parathyroid hormone ( PTH) is an important hormone secreted by parathyroid cells , and regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the body .In recent years , the toxic effect of PTH on myocardium has been re-ported.Calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR), a member of G protein-coupled receptor family, can feel the subtle change of extracellular calcium concentration and regulate intracellular calcium concentration through multifarious ways in order to control the secretion of PTH .The expression of CaSR is observed in parathyroid cells , renal tubular epithelial cells , myo-cardial cells, etc.Intracellular calcium, as a second messenger, participates in various cell functions , such as excitation-contraction coupling , fertilization and so on .The injury of myocardial cells is intimately linked with high concentrations of PTH and intracellular calcium , and high expression of CaSR .
