Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(5):475-479
Objective To reveal the real-time effect of puncturing Hegu (LI 4) and Zusanli (ST 36) on the central nervous system. Method Nine healthy volunteers were observed for the dynamic change of magnetic encephalography (MEG) after receiving acupuncture at Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli (ST 36) and non-acupoint.Result Acupuncture at Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli (ST 36) and non-acupoint can produce different effects on MEG.Conclusion MEG can be a specific detection in studying the sensation transmission of Hegu (LI 4) and Zusanli (ST 36), and acupuncture at the two points can affect different regions of brain.

ObjectiveTo introduce the progressing history of DO technique, and report the characteristics of the home-made type MS-1 internal mandibular distracter, and the effects of application of it in animal experiment. Methods15 Mongrel dogs were subjected to be lengthened of the unilateral or bilateral mandibles using the home-made type MS-1 mandibular distracter, and the regular X-ray ex aminations were made. ResultsAbout (20±5)mm in length of the andible had been achieved by the DO (distraction of osteogenesis)technique using the device. The accuracy of the distracter on lengthening would be attained to 98 % of the expectancy. The mineralization of the new bone fulfilled the gap zone about 5 weeks after the distraction had been finished during the consolidation period. ConclusionThe MS-1 type internal mandibular lengthening device has its special advantages on ap plication of cranio-maxillofacial surgery with a great expectancy.

Objective To investigate the effect of Biglycan and FAK signal pathway on the proliferation of colon cancer cells in vitro and its possible mechanisms. Methods Biglycan expression vector was constructed and transfected into the colon cancer cell line HCT116.FAK inhibitor was used for cell treatment as well.Cells were divided into 5 groups:control group(HCT116),control group transfected with empty plasmid(Vector),con-trol group with empty plasmid transfected and inhibitor treatment(Vector+PF-562271),group transfected with Biglycan expression vector(Biglycan),group with Biglycan expression vector transfected and inhibitor treatment ( Biglycan+PF-562271) .Treatment duration was 24 hours. The expressions of FAK,p-FAK,PCNA and p53 were detected by Western Blot. The proliferation of cells was detected by MTT.Results The overexpression of Biglycan significantly promoted the proliferation of HCT116 and the phosphorylation of FAK(P<0.01).It signif-icantly up-regulated PCNA and down-regulated p53(P<0.01).The FAK inhibitor PF-562271 treatment could obviously inhibit the proliferation of HCT116,and the regulation of Biglycan on the expression of p-FAK, PCNA.p53 proteins was reversed(P<0.01).Conclusion Biglycan regulates the proliferation of colon cancer cells by promoting the activation of FAK signal pathway.

Objective To observe the influence of Biglycan on the focal adhesion kinase( FAK) activa-tion and to explore whether it regulates the invasion and metastasis of colon cancer through FAK signaling path-way.Methods The overexpressive plasmid of Biglycan was constructed and then transfected into the colon canc-er cell line HCT116.Meanwhile,FAK inhibitor was used to treat cells.Control group(HCT116),empty plasmid group(Vector),empty plasmid and inhibitor treatment group(Vector +PF -562271),Biglycan overexpression group( Biglycan) ,Biglycan overexpression and inhibitor treatment group( Biglycan+PF-562271) were set.Twen-ty four hours after exposure to inhibitor, the expression of FAK and p-FAK in each group was detected by West-ern Blot. The invasion and metastasis of colon cancer cells was detected by transwell assay. Results Overexpres-sion of Biglycan significantly enhanced the phosphorylation level of FAK and promoted the invasion and metastasis of HCT116(P<0.01).The inhibitor of FAK PF-562271 could significantly reduce the expression of p-FAK and reverse the effect of Biglycan on the invasion and metastasis of colon cancer cells. Conclusion Biglycan reg-ulates the invasion and metastasis of colon cancer cells through activation FAK signaling pathway.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2006;0(S2):-
Objective To determine the effect of nifedipine on the formation of nephrolithiasis in rat models and its mechanism of action. Methods A total of 60 male Sprague-Dawley rats (body weight, 200-250g) were randomly divided into 6 groups, ie, control group, only nifedipine group, stone forming group, stone forming plus 3, 6, 10 mg?kg-1?d-1 nifedipine group. Each group is 10 rats respectively. Hyperoxaluria and calcium oxalate crystals were produced in rats by ethylene glycol in drinking water. Four weeks later, all rats were sacrificed and the calcium oxalate crystallization in kidney, the renal free radical level, the renal cell apoptosis indexes and the blood and urine biochemical indexes were detected. Results The renal calcium oxalate crystallization in the rat with different dose nifedipine was less than the stone forming rats 37.0%, 55.6%, 66.7% significantly (P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(08):-
Objective To evaluate the significance of fibreoptic bronchoscopy combined with percutaneous pneumocentesis in the diagnosis of peripheral pulmonary lesions. Methods 269 patients with peripheral pulmonary diseases were diagnosed with fibreoptic bronchoscopy biopsy combined with bronchial brush biopsy. In 89 out of the 269 patients no positive findings were obtained, because the lesions were located in the lung hilum, medial sphere or mesosphere, when X-ray guided fibreoptic bronchoscopy biopsy combined with bronchial brush biopsy were employed. In 77 out of the 89 patients positive fingings were still lacking,as their lesions were located in the mesosphere or peripheralzone, when X-ray guided percutaneous pneumocentesis biopsy was used.In 70 out of the 77 patients, positive fingings were lacking,as their lesions were just beneath the chest wall, when B-ultrasonography guided percutaneous automatic elastic biopsy was employed. Results 276 times of fibreoptic bronchoscopy biopsy combined with bronchial brush biopsy were performed in 269 patients, final diagnosis was obtained in 82 of them, with a diagnostic rate of 30.5%;94 times of X-ray guided fibreoptic bronchoscopy biopsy combined with bronchial brush biopsy were performed in 89 patients, and final diagnosis was obtained in 66 patients, with a diagnostic rate of 74.2%;85 times of X-ray guided percutaneous pneumocentesis biopsy were performed in 77 patients, final diagnosis was obtained in 52,with a diagnostic rate of 67.5%;79 times of B-ultrasonography guided percutaneous automatic elastic biopsy were performed in 70 patients, final diagnosis was obtained in 49,with a diagnostic rate of 70.0%.A final diagnosis was made in a total of 249 patients, with a diagnostic rate of 92.6% when 4 methods were used in combination. Conclusion Combined use of fibreoptic bronchoscopy with percutaneous pneumocentesis biopsy may remarkably raise the diagnostic rate in the patients with peripheral pulmonary diseases, and is worth to be recommended for general use in clinical work.
