2.Survey on state of heatthy workers of zron and stoel fantory
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(z2):8-9
ObjectiveTo get the message of workers' state of health in the cold-wlled stainless steel plant, and provide the basic information for the prevention and treatment of occupational diseases.Methods455 workers working in the cold-rolled plant was studied by collecting the occupational and medical history and examining the health. The control group was workers from the raw materials and the center of technology in this iron and steel company.Medical items include:blood pressure measurements, the internal medicine and surgical routine inspection, abdomen B-ultrasound and chest X-ray,eye-nose-throat(ENT) and oral cavity checks ( including hearing, lung function determination and etc.),and some laboratory tests, etc.ResultsThe rates of hearing abnormality, abnormal electrocardiogram,ENT and oral.cavity anomalities in the cold rolling mill workers were significantly higher han that in the controls (P < 0.05 ).Moreover, with the extension of years of working, the rates of hearing and ENT and oral cavity anomalities increased gradually(P < 0.01 ).ConclusionThe rate of abnormal electrocardiogram, heating abnormality and ENT and oral cavity abnormalities were higher in the cold rolling mill and significantly increased with the years of working.
3.mTOR in gastric cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(9):690-693
Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) is an atypical serine / threonine protein kinase, and belongs to the phosphatidylinositol kinase-related kinase (PIKK) family.mTOR plays an important role in tumor cell growth, apoptosis and tumor angiogenesis. Molecular therapy targeted mTOR has become a hot research topiccurrently.
4.Progress in histone deacetylase inhibitors in non-Hodgkin lymphoma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2016;25(9):568-572
Histone deacetylase (HDAC) is a protease which regulates gene expression and modify the structure of chromosome. The balance between acetylation and deacetylation of histone plays an important role in maintaining cellular function and the process of genes expression. Overexpression of HDAC and recruitment by transcription factors inhibit the expression of certain genes, leading to tumorigenesis and other diseases. Recently, with the further research on cancer epigenetics, HDAC inhibitors have increasingly caught attention. As a novel class of antitumor agents, HDAC inhibitors are widely explored in hematological malignancies. There are several kinds of HDAC inhibitors for the treatment and clinical research of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), such as vorinostat, belinostat, chidamide, CUDC-907. This article mainly describes the development of the HDAC inhibitors in NHL.
5.FⅤ Leiden mutation, the anticardiolipin antibodies and ischemic cerebrovascular disease in Chinese patients
Chinese Journal of Neurology 2001;0(03):-
Objective To study the prevalence of FⅤ Leiden mutation and its relationship to anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL) and ischemic cerebrovascular disease (ICVD). Methods The factor Ⅴ Leiden mutation was analyzed in 75 healthy and 118 ICVD patients using PCR-RFLP analysis. The anticardiolipin antibodies level was also measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay along with international standards in 86 patients with ICVD.The resistance to activated protein C(APC-R )was measured in 27 patients. Results The mutation, in heterozygous form, was found in 6 cases out of 118 ICVD patients, with a prevalence of 5.1%.None of the 75 healthy were found to carry the FⅤ Leiden mutation. The patients who carried the FⅤ Leiden mutation were young, whose average age was 50 years old.In 27 patients whose APC-R was measured , 8 patients were positive. In 86 patients whose aCL level was also measured simultaneously, an elevated aCL level was found in 26 cases, of whom 3 cases were found carrying the FⅤ Leiden mutation as well, making the group of patient possess a prevalence of 11.5 %, showing no strongly statistical significance in contrast to the patients without elevated aCL 5.0%.However, within the total of 6 cases with FⅤ Leiden mutation found in this group, 3 cases were patients with elevated aCL.Conclusions It was suggested that although FⅤ Leiden mutation was accounted for a small proportion of patients with ICVD, it might play a crucial role in thrombosis. The prevalence of young patients who carried FⅤ Leiden mutation should be higher. The final combined analysis revealed FⅤ Leiden mutation which is of highly significant relation to aCL in this group of Chinese patients with ICVD.It's detection should be of greatly clinical significance in finding cause, predicting the progress, prevention and treatment.
6.The Experience and Understand on Drug Dispensing by Automated Drug Dispensing Machine
China Pharmacy 2007;0(34):-
OBJECTIVE:To introduce how to use the automated drug dispensing machine to prepare drugs in single dose and to introduce our experience in the application of this machine. METHODS:The working principe, application context, and the functional advantage of the machine were introduced, and the problems encountered in the use of the machine was analyzed based on our experience, and the prospect of the machine was discussed. RESULTS: The machine enjoys the advantages of raising work efficiency, lowering dispensing error rate and bringing about convenience for patient to use, but it has its limitation in that it proposes higher requirement for software and hardware environment. CONCLUSION: The application of this automatic system will be more widespread with people’s increasing demand on medical care.
7.Factors affecting decreased ovarian reserve among women of childbearing age
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2023;35(2):158-161
Objective:
To investigate the factors affecting decreased ovarian reserve (DOR) among women of childbearing age, so as to provide insights into prevention of DOR.
Methods:
Women with DOR at ages of 18 to 40 years that were admitted to Department of Gynecology, Ningbo Women and Children's Hospital during the period from January 2021 to June 2022 were recruited (DOR group), while healthy women at ages of 18 to 40 years during the same period served as normal controls. Participants' demographics, exercise, diet, previous medical history, childbearing history and menstruation were collected using questionnaire surveys. The follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) and estradiol (E2) levels were tested. Factors affecting DOR were identified among women of childbearing age using a multivariable logistic regression model.
Results:
There were 200 participants in the DOR group, with a median (interquartile range) age of 32 (9) years, and 200 participants in the normal group, with a median (interquartile range) age of 29 (12) years. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that underweight (OR=2.935, 95%CI: 1.374-6.269), overweight/obesity (OR=2.612, 95%CI: 1.335-5.065), high-oil-high-glucose-high-salt diet (OR=2.653, 95%CI: 1.616-4.357), menstrual disorder (OR=1.977, 95%CI: 1.284-3.041) and lack of exercise (OR=3.392, 95%CI: 2.052-5.606) were statistically correlated with the development of DOR among women of childbearing age.
Conclusions
Underweight, overweight/obesity, high-oil-high-glucose-high-salt diet, menstrual disorder and lack of exercise are factors affecting the development of DOR among women of childbearing age.
