Chinese Journal of Biologicals 2023;36(9):1143-1148
Membrane fusion is essential for all life activities of eukaryotes and the fusion process requires the interaction of different vesicular transporters, which are highly conserved in eukaryotes,to coordinate specifically and facilitate the fusion of different biofilms. Vesicle associated membrane protein 8(VAMP8)mainly locates in vesicular as well as lysosomal membranes, and plays a vital role in the fusion of many different biofilms. This paper focused on the molecular structure, transcriptional regulation,post-translational modification and biological function of VAMP8 as well as the research progress on its correlation with human diseases,so as to provide new ideas for the treatment of related diseases and the development of effective therapeutics targeting VAMP8.
4.Relationship among Social Support Coping Style and Mental Health on University Librarians
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(5):449-451
ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship among social support, coping style and mental health on university librarians.Methods421 librarians were assessed with the symptom checklist 90 (SCL-90),social support rating scale (SSRS) and simplified coping style questionnaire (SCSQ) in 2005. ResultsSome factor of SCL-90 negatively correlated with utility percentage of social support(P<0.05), and positively correlated with passive coping style(P<0.05). Except utility percentage, the other three factors of social support showed significant difference among different academic titles (P<0.05), and it was significant different (P<0.05) on passive coping factor among them. The score of social support improved with ages except for utility percentage (P<0.05).On positive coping factor but not negative, there were significant difference among different age groups(P<0.05). ConclusionThe social support and coping style obviously correlate with the mental health of university librarians.

6.Effects of photodynamic therapy on microvessels and vascular endothelial growth factor expression in transplanted mouse Heps liver carcinoma
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(04):-
Objective: Hitherto there has been no report on the changes of microvessels and the expression of angiogenic factors after photodynamic therapy(PDT) of liver carcinoma. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of PDT on the microvessels and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factors(VEGF) in tumor cells. Methods: The mice models subcutaneously transplanted with Heps liver carcinoma were randomly divided into a PDT group(n= 28) and a control group(n= 28).The dynamic changes of the microvessels and VEGF expression in the tumor cells were observed at 2,6,24 and 72 h after PDT by H-E and immunohistochemical staining. Results: Progressive changes were seen in the tumor microvessels at the four time points after PDT,including dilatation, blood stasis, hypostasis, hemorrhage, and angiolysis.Compared with the control group, the microvessel density of the tumors was reduced significantly(P

9.Biodegradable AZ31 magnesium alloy stent in rabbit aorta:degradation time and effect
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(30):4456-4462
BACKGROUND:Stent implantation is a common treatment for various cardiovascular diseases. Biodegradable AZ31 magnesium al oy stent is a new kind of biodegradable stent, but its degradation time and effect are stil rarely reported. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the degradation time and effect of AZ31 magnesium al oy stent in the rabbit aorta. METHODS:Twenty New Zealand white rabbits were subjected to implantation of biodegradable AZ31 magnesium al oy stents into the abdominal aorta. After implantation, the animals were grossly observed, and five animals were sacrificed under anesthesia at 1, 2, 3 and 4 months respectively for X-ray and histological observations. The number of residual struts was calculated under microscope. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:X-ray findings showed that the implanted stent was found to be in complete form at 1 month after implantation, and its degradation was elicited at 2 months, indicating the stent lost its supporting role gradual y. The stent was degraded mostly at 3 months and degraded completely at 4 months. After implantation, the degradation rate of the stent was increased over time, which was confirmed by the X-ray findings. The number of residual struts was correlated with the time of degradation (r=-0.943, P<0.05). The slope of the linear regression equation was-0.12, based on which, the total time of the stent degradation was calculated to be 105 days. These results show that the AZ31 magnesium al oy stent implanted in the rabbit aorta is gradual y degraded with time, and the number of its residual struts exhibits an association with the degradation time. Given that the average number of degraded struts per day is 0.12, the complete stent is expected to be degraded within 105 days after implantation.
10.Changes of Leptin and Janus Protein Tyrosine Kinase 2/Activating Transcriptor 3 Signal Transduction Pathways in Experimental Rats of Heart Failure With Cachexia
Chinese Circulation Journal 2016;31(1):82-86
Objective: To investigate the changes of serum levels of leptin in chronic heart failure (CHF) rats with cachexia and to study its mechanism via leptin receptor expression and leptin signal transduction pathways.
Methods: There were 15/60 male SD rats were randomly used as Control group. CHF model was established in rest 45 rats by isoproterenol hydrochloride (ISO) injection as CHF group, n=36;9 rats died. According to body weight changes and echocardiography examination, CHF rats were further divided into 2 groups:cCHF group, the rats with cachexia, n=16 and ncCHF group, the rats with non-cachexia, n=20. Serum levels of leptin and protein levels of janus activating kinase 2 (JAK2), signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3) were examined by ELISA;the expressions of leptin receptor in the myocardial and adipose tissues were observed by immunohistochemistry;mRNA expressions of JAK2, STAT3 and SOCS3 in adipose tissue were detected by RT-PCR.
Results: Serum levels of leptin, JAK2, STAT3 and the expressions of JAK2, STAT3 in adipose tissue were higher in both ncCHF and cCHF groups than Control group, P<0.05;protein levels and mRNA expressions of JAK2 and STAT3 were similar between cCHF group and ncCHF group, P>0.05. Serum levels of leptin, SOCS3 and mRNA expression of SOCS3 in cCHF group were lower than ncCHF group, P<0.05. The expressions of leptin receptor in myocardial and adipose tissue were higher in cCHF group than ncCHF group, P<0.05, while the expressions in ncCHF group were higher than Control group, P<0.05.
Conclusions: Increased serum level of leptin was involved in HF occurrence, leptin receptor expression and JAK2/STAT3 signal transduction pathways might be related to CHF combining cachexia in experimental rats.
