3.Spontaneous spinal epidural hematom aand spontaneous spinal subdural hematoma:report of six cases
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2000;0(11):-
Objective To study the etiology, clinical presentation,MR images, treatment and prog-nosis of spontaneous spinal epidural and subdural hematoma. Methods From1995to2002,6cases diag-nosed as spontaneous spinal epidural and subdural hematoma were reviewed retrospectively. All of the pa-tients were males aging from30to68years with an average of 47years.The onset was acute while the pa-tients were in resting or light activity without prior history of any infection, administration of drugs or trau-ma.One patient had the history of hypertension, and another one was found to have diabetes after admission. The clinical characteristics were sudden pain involving neck, shoulder, chest and back, then dysfunction of motion and sensation of extremities and sphincter within few minutes.4cases of spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma were located at T 5~6 ,T 2~4 ,C 4~5 and C 6 ~T 1 respectively,and2cases of spontaneous spinal subdu ral hematoma at C 7 ~T 1 and C 7 ~T 2 respectively. Results All cases were proved with surgery and pathology.MR imaging showed occupying mass in the posterior or posteriolateral region inside the spinal canal.T 1 -weighted imaging was most useful owing to its typical signal changes with the hematoma.T 2 -weighted gra-dient echo sequence was capable to identify epidural and subdural spinal hematoma.Total laminectomy and hematoma debridement were performed. The outcome was closely related to the interval between the onset and surgery. The patients were followed up from6to18months with an average of 10months.All cases showed no significant improvement of spinal cord function except 5cases with incomplete recovery of sphincter function. Conclusion Spontaneous spinal epidural and subdural hematoma are rare entities.MRI is a most helpful diagnostic tool for this disorder. It should be stressed that early diagnosis and prompt surgical intervention are of great importance for prognosis of spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Objective To explore drinking water pollution by algae in Wuhan. Methods Sampling was carried out in different kinds of tap waters and tank waters for algae detection and identification. Results The detection rate of algae in tap waters was 89% in tank water it was 86% and at the same spot the genera and number of algae in the tank waters increased by 37% and 60% compared with the tap waters respectively. Conclusion Drinking water has been polluted by algae in different degree in Wuhan.
5.Rehabilitation effect of oral drug on the patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy after operation
International Eye Science 2014;(8):1516-1518
AIM:To observe the rehabilitation effect of oral Calcium Dobesilate Tablets and Epalrestat Tablets on the proliferative diabetic retinopathy ( PDR ) patients after vitrectomy.
METHODS:After vitrectomy patients informed consent, they were randomly divided into intervention group and control group, and their vision and fundus were followed up and compared at 2d;3, 6, 9, 12mo after operation.
RESULTS: The recovery and sustainment of visual acuity, and subsiding of macular edema of patients in drug intervention group were significantly better than that in control group.
CONCLUSION: PDR patients after vitrectomy actively orally take medicine to protect retina, which can improve vision and fundus rehabilitation.
6.Effect of suramin on trabeculectomy in rabbit
International Eye Science 2015;(4):601-604
AIM:To investigate the effect of suramin concentration changes on trabeculectomy in rabbit, and to provide treatment strategies for glaucoma on the basis of experiment.
METHODS:Thirty-two albino rabbits were randomly divided into four groups, including standard control group, experimental group Ⅰ, experimental group II, and experimental group Ⅲ. Each eye was performed standard trabeculectomy. During surgery, standard control group was given a piece of cotton with 0. 3mg/mL mitomycin C ( MMC ) for 2min, and the other three groups were given a piece of cotton with 0. 3, 0. 4, and 0.5mg/mL suramin respectively for 2min. The filtering blebs and intraocular pressure ( IOP ) were observed at the 3, 7, 15, and 30d after surgery. Some conjunctiral specimen were observed with hitochemicall ( HE staining) and immunohistochemicall methods.
RESULTS:At postoperative 7, 15, and 30d, the changes of the IOP, functional filtering blebs, and the number of positive cell nuclear in experimental group II and experimental group Ⅲ were significantly different compared with those in standard control group and experimental group Ⅰ (all P<0. 05), and the differences between experimental group Ⅰ and standard control group were not significant (P>0. 05). The changes of the IOP and the number of positive cell nuclear in experimental group Ⅲ were significantly different compared with those in experimental group II (P<0. 05), whereas the differences in functional filtering blebs between experimental group Ⅲ and experimental groupII were not significant (P>0. 05). The status of filtering channel in experimental groupII and experimental group
Ⅲ were better than those in experimental group Ⅰ and standard control group.
CONCLUSION: The concentration of suramin has a significantly influence on its effect. When the concentration is 0. 3mg/mL, the antiproliferative effect of suramin is no more than that of MMC. The effect of 0. 4, 0.5mg/mL suramin is better than MMC. 0. 5mg/mL suramin has a better effect on controlling IOP and suppressing the growth of fibroblasts than 0. 4mg/mL suramin.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(11):1652-1653
Objective To discuss the effica of central venous catheter drainage in interventional treatment of abdominal surgical complications. Methods The clinical data of 72 cases of abdominal surgical diseases were retrospectively analyzed, the complications included 23 cases of ascites,19 cases of bile leakage,8 cases of pancreatic fistula,7 cases of pancreatic necrosis and 15 cases of abdominal abscess, they all underwent percutaneous central venous catheter drainage under the guidance of ultrasound or CT.Results Central venous catheter was placed in 72 cases successfully in one time, the cathetem were kept for 2 to 37 days,5 discharged cases with catheter underwent regular reexamination in the clinic.3 cases of ascites were replaced for catheter shedding; 17 cases for occlusion recieved catheter irrigation and guidewire dredging;2 cases of pancreatic necrosis and 1 case of peripancreatic abscess were cured by repeated puncture and replacement of large-bore catheter.2 cases of pancreatic necrosis,1 case of pancreatic fistula and 1 case of appendicitis underwent laparotomy finally; 1 case of postcholecystectomy bile leakage underwent endoscopic stent therapy; 1 cases of severe pancreatitis complicated with ARDS was treated in ICU.Conclusion Central venous catheter drainage guided by ultrasound or CT for treatment of abdominal surgical complications was not only safe but also effective, and is worthy of popularization and application.
