Atypical monkeypox broke out in many non-endemic countries in 2022, and the cumulative number of cases worldwide reached 21 775 on July 11. Although most cases of atypical monkeypox outbreaks were related to sexual behavior, there was no clear consensus on whether monkeypox is a sexually transmitted disease, and the current guidelines issued in China for the diagnosis and treatment of monkeypox do not yet rule out monkeypox as a sexually transmitted disease. This review analyzed the evidence supporting atypical monkeypox as a sexually transmitted disease and other possible explanations from the perspectives of monkeypox case definition/diagnostic criteria, epidemiology, clinical features, laboratory examinations, and public health prevention and control measures, aiming to provide suitable recommendations for the prevention and control of monkeypox outbreaks in China.

Objective To develop a new,three dimensional dynamic system for pulse detection.Methods According to bionics,a multi-information sensing mode with a soft surface is designed on the basis of traditional Chinese medical diagnosis in pulse.This mode imitates the touching sense of human finger and with the application of modern computer information processing technique,the pulse information is extracted in the way that is as close as possible to the traditional Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis.Results With the application of new sensor,pulse signal is detected and the effectiveness of the inovative three-dimension data transimition mode is validated since the pulse signal is three-dimensionally re-displayed on the computer screen.Conclusion The method introduced in this paper is proved feasible for detecting pulse information.Expected results are obtained and the method provides a new way and new feature reference for research and teaching in objectifying the diagnosis of traditional Chinese medical sciences.

Objective To investigate the treatment method and prognostic factors of patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL)of palatine tonsil.Methods 70 patients with NHL of palatine tonsil were re- viewed.According to Ann Arbor staging classification,12 patients had stageⅠ,39 stageⅡ,15 stageⅢand 4 stageⅣ.Working formulation was used in pathologic classification which was low grade 8 cases,intermedi- ate grade 28 cases and high grade 34 cases.30 cases were treated by chemotherapy alone,3 cases by radio- therapy alone,37 cases by chemotherapy and radiotherapy.Results The overall survival rate was 56.3%. Objective: To study the change of placental corticotropin releasing hormone level in pregnant women entering spontaneous labor at term and preterm or posterm,and to investigate the value of CRH as an indicator of preterm labor. Methods: Subjects( n =200) were recruited to the study at their antenatal visits,and plasma samples were obtained at their routine antental clinic visits from 28 weeks to parturition at 2 weeks intervals.CRH were measured by radioimmunoassay. Objective To establish human choriocarcinoma JeG-3 cell line resistant to floxuridine (FUDR)and describe the characteristics of this FUDR-resistant subline.The thymidylate synthase (TS) expression level in FUDR-resistant subline was also discussed.Methods The FUDR-resistant sub-line JeG-3/FUDRA was established by intermitted exposure to grads increased FUDR.Reversed microscope was used to observe the morphological changes in FUDR-resistant sub-line.Population doubling time was calculated and compared based on the growth curve of these two cell lines,cell cycles and chromosomal ploidy were assayed with flow cytometry methods.The chemo-luminescence assay was used to detect the hormone secretion by two kinds of cell lines.The resistant index (RI) was measured by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8)assay.Quantitative RT-PCR was used to detect the mRNA expression level of TS and we also detected the TS mRNA expression level in different doses exposed subline.Results The RI of JeG-3/FUDRA was 31.62.Compared with the JeG-3 cell,the FUDR-resistant cell line had gross changes in morphological,cell growth,cell cycles and chromosomal numbers.The ability of human chorionic gonadotrop(hCG) and progesterone secretion was lower in JeG-3/FUDRA subline.The trend of TS mRNA expression was:while exposed to low concentration of FUDR,the TS mRNA expression level was downregulated,then followed the increasing dose of the drug,the expression level of TS mRNA ascended gradually.When the terminal concentration was reached,the expression level of TS mRNA in JeG-3/FUDRA subline was higher than that of JeG-3 cell line (P＜0.05).Conclusions We established the FUDR-resistant subline of JeG-3 successfully.The TS mRNA expression level is stage-related to the different concentration and different phase in FUDR exposure.Our data suggested that TS mRNA expression level may not be used as a biomarker to predict the chemosensitivity in FUDR-based chemotherapy.

Objective To analyse the mental health of adolescents with cochlear implants and provide the ref‐erence for programming the personalize rehabilitation schedule of audio - speech -psychological .Methods The mental health test(MHT) was used to evaluate the mental health status of 60 adolescent with cochlear implants ,and compared with those of adolescent with normal hearing .Results The incidence of psychological problems was 3 .33% in adolescent with cochlear implants .The hypersusceptilility scores of the group of cochlear implants (5 .63 ± 2 .22) was higher than that of in normal hearing group(4 .05) in ,which was significantly different(P<0 .01) . The body syndrome scores in the cochlear implants group (4 .03 ± 2 .72) was lower than that of in normal hearing group(4 .99) ,which was significantly different(P<0 .01) .The phobic tendency scores in cochlear implants group (1 .95 ± 2 .01)was significantly lower than that of in normal hearing group (3 .06)(P<0 .01) .Conclusion The over‐all mental health of adolescent with cochlear implants is good .Cochlear implants can help them improve hearing and speech function ,and improve quality of life ,but they still need parents ,teachers and the community to pay more at‐tention and care to help them get through adolescence ,and return to mainstream society .

OBJECTIVE: To assess the evaluation on auditory rehabilitation effect for 42 deaf children with GJB2 gene mutation after cochlear implantation to provide a reference for the cochlear implant effect evaluation of such patients. METHOD: To conduct the detection on common genetic deafness gene mutation hotspots of hearing impaired children with cochlear implantation. To conduct auditory rehabilitation effect evaluation on 42 cases of patients with GJB2 genetic deafness after 3 months, 6 months and 12 months of the operation respectively. The single factor repeated measure ANOVA was applied to analyze whether there were significant difference among the results of initial consonant of a Chinese syllable recognition at 3 different stages after the operation, the results of vowel of a Chinese syllable recognition at 3 different stages after the operation, and the results of two-syllable recognition at 3 different stages after the operation. RESULT: 235delC is the high-incidence mutational site in 42 cases of patients with GJB2 genetic deafness, the total detection rate is up to 90.48%. There were significant differences in the initial consonant of a Chinese syllable recognition rate, the vowel of a Chinese syllable recognition rate, the two-syllable recognition rate as well as the vowel of a Chinese syllable recognition rate after 3 months, 6 months and 12 months of the operation (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION Cochlear implantation is a safe and effective measure for auditory reconstruction, it can help patients with GJB2 hereditary severe sensorineural deafness to improve auditory speech recognition.

Objective to develop a rotation monitoring device to monitor animal rotation during experiments.Methods Use serial port controls,USB and rotary encoder et al.modern computer cience,with the combination of traditionally experimental methods and the software designed in VC language.Results A mini animal rotation monitor was developed,which could continuously monitor animal rotation and intelligently display the rotaion.conclusion Statistic analysis of experimental data proofs the rationality and effectiveness of the apparatus.The rotational behavior monitor can play an importance role in research into the pathogenesis of Parkinson's Disease(PD)and screening the anti-PD drugs.
