Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(5):449-451
ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship among social support, coping style and mental health on university librarians.Methods421 librarians were assessed with the symptom checklist 90 (SCL-90),social support rating scale (SSRS) and simplified coping style questionnaire (SCSQ) in 2005. ResultsSome factor of SCL-90 negatively correlated with utility percentage of social support(P<0.05), and positively correlated with passive coping style(P<0.05). Except utility percentage, the other three factors of social support showed significant difference among different academic titles (P<0.05), and it was significant different (P<0.05) on passive coping factor among them. The score of social support improved with ages except for utility percentage (P<0.05).On positive coping factor but not negative, there were significant difference among different age groups(P<0.05). ConclusionThe social support and coping style obviously correlate with the mental health of university librarians.

6.Effects of photodynamic therapy on microvessels and vascular endothelial growth factor expression in transplanted mouse Heps liver carcinoma
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(04):-
Objective: Hitherto there has been no report on the changes of microvessels and the expression of angiogenic factors after photodynamic therapy(PDT) of liver carcinoma. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of PDT on the microvessels and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factors(VEGF) in tumor cells. Methods: The mice models subcutaneously transplanted with Heps liver carcinoma were randomly divided into a PDT group(n= 28) and a control group(n= 28).The dynamic changes of the microvessels and VEGF expression in the tumor cells were observed at 2,6,24 and 72 h after PDT by H-E and immunohistochemical staining. Results: Progressive changes were seen in the tumor microvessels at the four time points after PDT,including dilatation, blood stasis, hypostasis, hemorrhage, and angiolysis.Compared with the control group, the microvessel density of the tumors was reduced significantly(P

8.Clinical significance of cerebrovascular hemodynamic index with ultrasound in silent cerebral infarction
Chinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;(6):292-296
Objective Toobservetheclinicalsignificanceofcerebrovascularhemodynamicindex (CVHI)inthepatientswithsilentcerebralinfarction. Methods Atotalof180patientsperformed cerebrovascular hemodynamics with ultrasound and head MRI examinations were enrolled retrospectively. They were divided into three groups:60 patients with silent cerebral infraction (SCI)were used as a SCI group,60 age-,sex- and previous medical history-matched high risk patients with cerebrovascular disease were used as a cerebrovascular disease risk factor (CV-HRF)group,and 60 healthy subjects were used as a normal control group over the same period. Cerebrovascular function detector was used to collect CVHI at the bilateral carotid arteries. The CVHI features of the 3 groups were analyzed and compared. Results Comparedwiththecontrolgroup, thereweresignificantchangesinvariousindexesofcerebral vascular hemodynamics in the SCI group and the CV-HRF group. The indexes of reflecting the cerebral blood supply state included significantly decreased mean blood flow, mean flow velocity, maximum flow velocity, and minimum flow velocity (P<0. 05);the indexes reflecting vascular elastic properties and resistance status included the increased pulse wave velocity, characteristic impedance, peripheral resistance, and dynamic resistance (P<0. 05);the indexes reflecting cerebral microcirculation included significantly increased critical pressure and decreased differential pressure (P<0. 05);the total score of cerebrovascular function was also decreased significantly, they were 44 ± 9,51 ± 5,and 85 ± 7,respectively (P<0. 05);there were significance differences in the distribution of total score amongthe3groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Thehigh-riskpatientswithsilentcerebralinfarction and cerebrovascular disease have the CVHI changes. The total integrated value of cerebrovascular function declined, and the former is more obvious.
9.Research and application of mesenchymal stem cells in ophthalmology
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(06):-
At present, mesenchymal stem cell treatment mainly applies in local and systematic transplantation, gene therapy combining stem cells, as well as tissue engineering. Based on mesenchymal stem cells are easily separated, cultured, have potentials of fast proliferation, easy exogenous gene's induction and expression, and can maintain multi-differentiation potential throughout long-term culture in vitro, and the quite stable genetic background. Mesenchymal stem cells have widely application prospect in tissue engineering of ophthalmology. At present, domestic and foreign researches have had massive evidences that mesenchymal stem cells can differentiate into cornea and retina cells. The application of mesenchymal stem cells in the anterior eye is usually by dint of a kind of carrier, such as amniotic membrane, fibrin gel membrane and so on. Moreover, the temperature sensitive culture dish has made the non-carrier transplantation of ocular surface stem cells. The application of mesenchymal stem cells in the posterior eye mostly concentrates in seeking for the feasible treatment of retinitis pigmentosa. Researches are mature on mesenchymal stem cells as seed cells acting on damaged tissue in ocular repairs and regeneration. But its oncogenicity and the security are waiting for further solving.
10.Effect of aerobic exercise on pancreatic islets and explorationof their mechanism in type 2 diabetic rats
Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine 2017;27(8):22-27
Objective To explore the effect and mechanism of aerobic exercise on islet β-cells in type 2 diabetic rats. Methods Thirty healthy SPF 8-week old Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group (C, n=10), diabetic control groups (DMC) and diabetic exercise (DME) groups, 10 rats in each group, among which 7 successful rat models were used in the experiment. The diabetic rat model was established by high fat and sugar diet and i.p.injection of streptozotocin in a dose of 50 mg/kg.The rats of group DME were forced to perform 20 m/min running for 30 min, once a day, 6 days in a week, for 8 weeks.Other rats were allowed free movement. At the end of experiment, serum glucose and insulin were measured and homeostasis model assessment (HOMA) was calculated, and pancreatic tissue samples were collected for histopathological examination. The morphology and structure of pancreatic islets were observed under a digital microscope, the perimeter and area of islets were analyzed by image analysis, and shape factor of islets was calculated. The insulin content, glucokinase and ultramicro-ATPase activity in the pancreatic homogenate were determined. Results In the DME group, the perimeter and area of islets were significantly higher than the DMC group (P< 0.05), but still lower than the control group. The shape factor was significantly increased, the cell hypertrophy, vacuolization and nuclear pyknosis were markedly alleviated than those in the DMC group, the insulin content, glucokinase and the trace total ATP activity in the DME group were significantly higher than those in the DMC group (P<0.05), and the SF and HOMA were significantly changed. Conclusions Aerobic exercise can reduce the blood glucose level, improve the morphology of islets and β-cells in the type 2 diabetic rats.It may be due to increase of the activity of glucose kinase and ATP-synthase, and increased insulin sensitivity in the pancreas.
