Objective The purpose of this study was to discuss the effect of visible light therapeutic equipment accompanied with electrolyzed-oxiding water (EOW) on pressure ulcer above the second phase. Methods We divided 44 patients with pressure ulcer above the second phase into the test group (23 cases, 28 spots) and the control group (21 cases, 25 spots). The test group received local decompression, debridement with EOW, exposure to visible light for 20 minutes, 10 times per day. The control group adopted local decompression, debridement with normal saline and local application of burn cream, 3 times per day. Results The effective rate of the test group was apparently higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The healing time was also shorter than that of the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion Treatment of pressure ulcer above the second phase with visible light therapeutic equipment accompanied with electrolyzed-oxiding water proved to be an effective treatment method.

In vitro cell culture of head and neck tumors and chemosensitivity test to select sensitivity antitumor bogs for individual chemotherapy. Methods:The chemosensitivity of 32 fresh specimens of human head and neck tumors were tested with MTT assay and eight atitumor drugs． Results:The sensitivity was 84.4% for 5-Fu, 2l.9% for VCR, 62.5% for MTX, 8l.3% for BLM, 8l.3% for DDP, 40.6% for ADM, 65.6% for PYM and 3.l% for CTX． The results of chemotherapy with sensitivity drugs of 32 patients were encouraged． There were no serious side-effects in the chemotherapy and no recurrence and metastasis after the treatment． 32 patients were still alive． Conclusion: Chemosensitivity test of tumor cell lines with MTT assay was accuracy， fast，simple，ecoromical，effective method and was valuable for chemotherapy．

Objective To explore the frequencies of MPL exon 10 mutations in JAK2 V617F-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms patients. Methods MPLW515K/L was processed through allele-specific PGR combined with direct sequence analysis. The mutations of others MPL exon 10 were detected by single strand conformation polymorphism PGR (PCR-SSCP) combined with direct sequencing. Results Of the 103 patients with JAK2 V617F-negtive myeloproliferative neoplasms patients, 1 carried MPLW515K mutation (TGG→AAG)in PMF; 1 was found to have new mutation (CTGGTGATCGCT insert) in ET and have homozygous mutation. Conclusion JAK2 V617F-negtive myeloproliferative neoplasms patients carried additional mutations in addition to W515K/L mutations in MPL exon 10, but its frequency of mutation is low.

Objective:To investigate the effect of outpatient cardiac rehabilitation on the quality of life and lifestyle changes in patients with coronary heart disease.Methods:A total of 135 patients with coronary heart disease who received exercise rehabilitation in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center of Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were enrolled in the study. Among them, 63 cases seldom attended (≤12 sessions, low-attending group), 37 cases less frequently attended (13-24 sessions, medium-attending group) and 35 cases attended frequently (≥25 sessions, high-attending group). The clinical data, cardiac rehabilitation, Seattle Angina Scale (SAQ) score and SF-36 quality of life score before and after rehabilitation, and lifestyle changes such as out-of-hospital exercise were documented and compared among the three groups.Results:Compared with baseline, the 5-dimensional scores of SAQ and the 9-dimensional scores of SF-36 (except for role-emotional and health change) were not significantly improved after cardiac rehabilitation in low-attending group ( P>0.05), while the angina stability, angina frequency, treatment satisfaction of SAQ, and bodily pain, health change of SF-36 in medium-attending group were improved ( P<0.05), and both SAQ and SF-36 in high-attending group were increased ( P<0.05). After cardiac rehabilitation, the SAQ and SF-36 scores of patients in high-attending group were significantly higher than those of patients in low-attending group ( P<0.05). The lifestyle was changed in 77.14%(27/35)patients of high-attending group, which was higher and that of low-attending group(38.10%, 24/63) (χ 2=13.74, P<0.001). Conclusion:The outpatient exercise rehabilitation can improve the quality of life and change lifestyle of patients with coronary heart disease; and the effect of rehabilitation is associated with the attending frequency.

Objective To review the clinical characteristics and current management strategy and to examine the factors to be considered in the selection of treatment options for mitral regurgitation (MR) in elderly inpatients.Methods Elderly patients(≥60years old)who had been diagnosed with moderate to severe MR by transthoracic echocardiography and hospitalized from May 1,2014 to April 30,2015were included in this study (N=680).Patients were grouped according to therapy:the surgery group (n=372) and the medication group (n=308).Data at baseline including medical history and echocardiography were collected for comparison between the two groups and for analysis of factors associated with treatment choice.Results Of the 680 patients with moderate to severe MR,45.3％ were treated with medication.Compared with the surgery group,patients in the medication group were older,with a lower prevalence of primary MR,a higher prevalence of coronary heart disease and higher Euroscore-Ⅱ scores (all P＜0.01).Furthermore,the medication group had a lower prevalence of moderate MR(75/308 or 24.4％ vs.200/372 or 53.8％,P＜ 0.01),a lower left ventricular ejection fraction (47.8 ± 16.1) ％ vs (61.5 ± 9.2)％(P＜0.01),and a larger left ventricular end diastolic diameter(59.2±11.4)mmw (55.8±8.8)mm (P＜ 0.01).Besides,multivariable analysis revealed that regurgitation grade,left ventricular ejection fraction,multiple valve disease,age,and diabetes were correlated with therapy decisions(OR=62.067,1.089,4.791,0.879 and 0.414,respectively,P＜0.01 or P＜0.05).Conclusions Old age,impaired left ventricular ejection fraction,low regurgitation grade,diabetes,and absence of multiple valves are the most salientfactors for which surgery should not be selected.

Objective: To investigate the pyroptosis induced by different enteroviruses in human neuroblastoma cells SH-SY5Y and the differences among them. Methods: SH-SY5Y cells were infected with nine strains of enterovirus respectively, including enterovirus A71 (EV-A71), Coxsackievirus A (CA), Coxsackievirus B (CB), Echovirus (Echo). The cellular morphology of infected and control groups were observed and activity of Caspase-1 of infected and control groups were detected by flow cytometry at 48 h post infection. Results: The activity of Caspase-1 induced by EV-A71 was higher than control (P<0.001), and the activity of Caspase-1 induced by EV-A71 isolated from severe case was significantly higher than that induced by EV-A71 isolated from common case (P<0.001). The activity of Caspase-1 induced by CA was at a lower level. The activity of Caspase-1 induced by CB and Echo were both significantly higher than that induced by EV-A71 and control (P<0.001). Cytopathic effects (CPE) were found to be related with the activity of Caspase-1. Conclusions EV-A71, CB and Echo all could induce pyroptosis mediated by Caspase-1 in SH-SY5Y cells, but the ability of CA to induce pyroptosis was at a lower level, which may provide evidences for further study on mechanism of neuropathy caused by enterovirus.
