Objective To compare the clinical effectiveness of ozone (O_3) nucleus pulposus ablation only with that of 03 nucleus pulposus ablation combined with intervertebral facet joint injection of compound Betamethasome in treating lumbar disk herniation accompanied with intervertebral facet arthritis. Methods Eighty patients with lumbar disk herniation and intervertebral facet arthritis were equally and randomly divided into two groups. Under CT guidance, O_3 nucleus pulposus ablation was performed in patients of group A(n = 40), while O_3 nucleus pulposus ablation combined with intervertebral facet joint injection of compound Betamethasome (0.5 ~ 1 ml) was carried out in patients of group B (n = 40). Using double blind method the therapeutic effectiveness was evaluated before and 1 week, 3, 6-months after the procedure by an Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire. Results One week after the procedure the effective rate of group A and group B was 65% and 82.5% respectively. Three and six months after the treatment, the effective rate was 75% and 70% respectively for group A, while it was 90% and 92.5% respectively for group B. The difference between two groups was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion lntradiscal injection of O_3 combined with intervertebral facet joint injection of compound Betamethasome is an effective and safe treatment for lumbar disk herniation accompanied with intervertebral facet arthritis. It is worth popularizing this technique in clinical practice.

Objective To compare the dosimetry of three different radiation therapy plans [threedimensional conformal radiation therapy (3DCRT),intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT),intensity modulated arc radiotherapy (IMAT)].Methods Selected 15 cases with middle thoracic esophageal cancer,Varian Eclipse 8.6 planning systems were designed with 3DCRT,IMRT,IMAT,3DCRT using 5-8 coplanar radiation fields,IMRT using 7 coplanar radiation fields,IMAT using 2 radians.Three planned dose difference were compared. Results Compared with 3DCRT,IMRT and IMAT were better with heterogeneity index (HI),conformality index (CI),VPTV 95 %,V5,V20,V35 of total lung, and V30 of heart (t =2.531,P< 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference for the V10,V15,V25,V30 mean dose of total lung, the mean dose of heart, the maximum dose of spinal cord, and the minimum dose of PTV among the three plans (t =1.325,P >0.05).Conclusion IMAT and IMRT are similar in the middle thoracic esophageal cancer radiotherapy target volume dose coverage and organs at risk protection, they are better than 3DCRT.IMAT in the monitor units and delivery time are less than IMRT.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the repairing effect and mechanism of Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula on the mucosal dam-age of rats with ulcerative colitis (UC). METHODS:72 rats were randomly divided into blank group, model group, mesalamine group(positive control,0.3 g/kg),Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula low-dose,medium-dose,high-dose groups(5,10,20 g/kg),12 in each group. Except for blank group, other groups were induced UC model. After 4 d of modeling, rats in administration groups received related medicines,ig,blank group and model group received normal saline,ig,once a day,for 2 weeks. After administra-tion,disease activity index(DAI)and mucosal damage index(CMDI)of rats were observed;IL-8,TNF-α contents in serum and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) expression in colon tissue were detected. RESULTS:Compared with blank group,DAI and CMDI scores in model group were increased;IL-8,TNF-α contents in serum were increased;COX-2 expression in colon tissue was en-hanced,with statistical significances (P<0.05). Compared with model group,DAI and CMDI scores in model group were de-creased;IL-8,TNF-α contents in serum were reduced;COX-2 expression in colon tissue was weakened, with statistical signifi-cances (P<0.05). Compared with mesalamine group, the above-mentioned indicators in Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula medi-um-dose,high-dose groups changed more obviously (P<0.05),and effects of Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula showed significant dose-effect relationship. CONCLUSIONS:Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula can improve disease activity status of UC rats and reduce colon mucosal damage, and the effects of medium-dose and high-dose Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula were better than mesalamine, which may be related to reducing inflammatory reaction and inhibiting COX-2 expression in colon tissue.

A canthopanax Senticosus , a vulnerable species, was one of the major government-protected plants. This paper deals with the major reason for wildlife resources from biological standpoints, which are sexual propagation with less capability , vegetative propagation being damaged due to leaves , roots and rhizomes being gathered un-reasonable. Raising wildlife resources, semi-wild extensive management, and reasonable gatheration will be an important means for protection of wildlife resources in light of local conditions.

Objective To investigate the expression of CK2α' in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues and its prognosis value. Methods Tissue microarray was made from tumor and adjacent normal tissues of 83 patients with HCC. Immunohistochemical was used to stain the microarray for semi-quantitative analysis, and the expression of CK2α' in HCC tissues and adjacent normal tissues was compared. The associations between CK2α' expression and clinicopathologic features of HCC patients were analyzed with

Objective To explore the relationship between mitochondrial DNA gene,GJB2 gene mutations and the susceptibility to noise-induced hearing loss in the army, and to provide scientific evidence for gene screening of susceptible individuals and relevant molecular epidemiology. Methods 182 blood samples were collected from 349 soldiers, consisting of susceptible and tolerance groups exposed to military noise in Beijing.Genomic DNA was isolated, and the targeted fragments of mitochondrial DNA and coding region of GJB2 gene were amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).The PCR products were analyzed by direct sequencing. Results The results revealed that there were 98 mtDNA variants(41 reside in 12SrRNA) and 12 GJB2 gene variants;among them,mtDNA T1095C and G7642A coexisted in 4 susceptible individuals, but these mutations were not found in the tolerance group. In addition,3 tolerant individuals carried 961delT+insC while no one was found in the susceptible group. Conclusion The 12SrRNA is an area evidenced by high variant and mutation rate. The coexistence of mtDNA T1095C and G7642A in the susceptible group exposed to the similar noise suggests that these mutations are pathogenic mutations associated with NIHL.Three tolerant individuals with the history of long-term noise exposure carry 961delT+insC,suggesting that 961delT+insC might be a conditional pathogenic mutation, but not correlate with NIHL.

This paper aimed at evaluating the therapeutic effects of acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of heart-spleen deficiency and observing the improvement effect for insomnia patients′ sleep quality. A total of 70 cases of heart-spleen deficiency were selected as the research data, to the all cases were divided into acupuncture group and controlgroup. Acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture and moxibustion in many acupoints, the control group weretreated with estazolampo. After 3 courses of treatment, the PSQI and TESS of the two groups were observed. The totaleffective rate of the acupuncture group was 94.3%, the total effective rate of the control group was 77.1% (P < 0.05), andthe acupuncture group was more ideal than the control group (P < 0.05) . After treatment the PSQI score and TESS scorein acupuncture group were decreased compared with control group (P < 0.05) . Acupuncture and moxibustion in thetreatment of heart-spleen deficiency insomnia curative effect is ideal and reliable, can effectively decrease the PSQI andTESS score, and has lower auxiliary work compared with taken estazolam.
