Objective:To understand the relationship of personality characteristics,self-esteem and social sup-port between men who have sex with men (MSM).Methods:Totally 402 cases aged 18-77 years were selected by snowball sampling method in Mianyang City and evaluated with the Chinese version of Eysenck Personality Ques-tionnaire short form scale (EPQ-RSC),Self-Esteem Scale (SES)and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS).Re-sults:Objective support score was negatively correlated with psychoticism and neuroticism score (standard β=-0.18,-0.28),and positively correlated with introversion-extroversion score (standard β=0.14).Subjective sup-port score was negatively correlated with introversion-extroversion score (standard β=-0.15),and positively cor-related with lie score (standard β=0.22).The utilization degree of social support score was negatively correlated with psychoticism and neuroticism score (standard β=0.16,0.15),and positively correlated with lie score (stand-ard β=-0.15).Self-esteem score was negatively correlated with psychoticism and neuroticism score (standard β=0.10,0.21),and positively correlated with the utilization degree of social support score (standard β=-0.26). Conclusion:The relationships of personality,self-esteem and social support in MSM may be close.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
1.The nutrient content of yeast (Condida Y-17) grown on n-alkane studied in this experiment was comparable to that of the same type of yeast produced in other countries. Its content of lead, arsenic, mercury and benzo (a) pyrene were within the limit proposed by the Protein-Calorie Advisory Group of the United Nations System. The Content of its residual n-alkanes and total aromatic hydrocarbons were within or a little over that limit. It is a good supplementary protein feed.2.The corrected PER values were, yeast grown on n-alkane 1.18; deli pid and denucleic acid yeast grown on n-alkane 1.16; brewer's yeast 1.52; full fat soybean meal 1.81. The PER of yeast grown on n-alkane was significantly lower than those of other samples. When 0.3% DL-methionine was added to the diet, the corrected PER values increased: n-alkane grown yeast 2.32; delipid and denucleic acid n-alkane grown yeast 2.49; brewer's yeast 2.35; full fat soybean meal 2.28. The corrected PER value of casein used for correction was 2.43, it was standardized with ANRC reference protein (PER = 2.50).3.Yeast grown on n-alkane with and without removal of lipids and nucleic acid was fed to groups of rats at a dietary level of 25% and 35% respectively for 1 year. A stock diet group and a brewer's yeast diet group were used as control. In the first 3 months the weight gain and feed consumption of the rats fed n-alkanc grown yeast diet were lower than those of the two control groups. The male rats were more sensitive to the change of diet. In the later 9 months the difference of weight gain among different groups were not significant. The concentration of haemoglobin, red cell counts, white cell counts, GPTase activity, serum cholesterol levels and serum urea levels determined at the beginning and the end of the experiment were all in the normal ranges. The concentrations of n-alkanes and odd-chain fatty acids in the adipose tissue of the n-alkane grown yeast group were higher than those of the two control groups, and the difference was highly significant. The concentrations of total aromatic hydrocarbons and benzo(a) pyrene in the muscle of different groups of rats were 0.4-0.6 ppm and 0.4 ppb respectively. No detrimental effect was observed in pathological examination.4.When 5% fish meal or 3.5% casein was added to the 25% n-alkane grown yeast diet, the weight gain and feed consumption of weanling rats were improved significantly, though it was still inferior to those fed with stock diet.5.Strongly growth depressive effect was noted as the level of n-alkane grown yeast was increased to 20% in the diet. This depressive effect was neither due to the toxicity of the residual n-alkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons, nor due to the deficiencies of potassium and selenium in the diet. It might be the result of nutrient or nutrients imbalance of the diet. The appropriate amount of yeast grown on n-alkane used in mixed feed should not be more than 15%.

Objective:To analyze the characteristics of elderly patients with moyamoya disease and clinical outcomes after combined revascularization, and to evaluate the safety and efficacy of this method in elderly patients. Methods:Moyamoya disease patients aged 60 years or older who had undergone combined revascularization at the Neurosurgery Center of Aeronautical General Hospital from January 2016 to September 2021 were selected as study subjects. Then patients' clinical data and postoperative complications within two weeks of surgery were collected and a followed-up was conducted. The results were compared with those of previous reports. Results:A total of 46 combined revascularization procedures were carried out in 30 patients. The ages at surgery ranged between 60-75 years, with a mean age of(66.1±4.4)years.The rate of complications within two weeks after surgery was 37%, and the most common complication was speech dysfunction, followed by epilepsy and hyperperfusion. No serious complications such as cerebral hemorrhage and death occurred. The follow-up varied between 3-67 months, with an average follow-up time of(26.8±18.4)months.The MRS score was <3 at 3 months after surgery, and there was no death or severe disability. Conclusions:Perioperative complications in elderly patients with moyamoya disease have a higher incidence rate than in other populations, but patients can usually recover after close perioperative management for 2 weeks. The follow-up has demonstrated that outcomes at 3 months and in longer terms after surgery are satisfactory and clinical symptoms will improve significantly.

International Journal of Surgery 2020;47(8):572-576
The adipose tissue in mammalian can be classifieded into white adipose tissue and brown adipose tissue according to color and function. White adipose tissue can change into a new type of adipocyte - -Beige adipocyte under the condition such as sympathetic excitation. The process white adipose tissue is induced to produce beige adipose tissue is called browning of white adipose tissue. The dynamic balance between white adipose tissue and beige adipose tissue is closely related to the homeostasis of metabolism. Studying the signal transduction pathway of the white to brown transformation of adipose tissue can provide a new way to correct obesity and alleviate the disorder of obesity related glucose and lipid metabolism. The role, significance and influencing factors in metabolic regulation of white adipose tissue browning were discussed in this paper.

Objective To understand the relationship of anxiety and depression with AIDS knowledge, cognition of risk and sex behavior among young men who have sex with men(YMSM).Methods The study was conducted by the snowballs sampling method for the recruitment and serological examination of YMSM aged 15-24 in Mianyang city,Sichuan province. The anxiety and depressive symptoms were assessed by the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and the self-rating depression scale (SDS).Chi-square test was used to implement single-factor analysis and non-conditional logistic regression for multiple-factor analysis. Results Totally 356 cases completed the SAS and 355 cases completed the SDS.And the total scores of SAS and SDS were (42.96± 10.81) and (45.63± 12.40).The detection rates of anxiety and depressive symptoms were 23.60% and 33.24% respectively. There was no statistical difference in the incidence of HIV infection with or without anxiety and depression (x2=2.235,1.718,both P>0.05),and there was a statistical difference in the incidence of syphilis infection (x2 =6.840,P<0.05).Multi-factor analysis results showed that HIV infection risk awareness(β=1.101,P=0.015),number of anal sex in nearly 1 week (β=1.111,P=0.005),and the diagnosis of STD in nearly 1 year(β=1.996,P=0.010) were independent factors influencing anxiety symptoms, meanwhile occasional sex in nearly six months (β=0.692,P=0.037),and the number of anal sex in nearly one week (β=0.969,P=0.012) were independent factors in depressive symptoms (P<0.05).Conclusion The detection rate of anxiety and depressive symptoms among YMSM is high.Anxiety and depressive symptoms are related to AIDS related factors, which has certain characteristics to the YMSM sex behavior and is of great health risk.AIDS prevention should combine behavior with psychological intervention.
