Objective To understand psychiatry hospital nurse' s self-compassion situation, explore the influencing factors, for nursing managers to know about the clinical nurses psychological health and to provide a reference data of intervention to improve the level of self-compassion. Methods A total of 381 clinical nurses from the Affiliated Brain Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University (Guangzhou Huiai Hospital) completed the survey using the questionnaire including the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) and general information questionnaire. The influence factors were analyzed by chi-square test and Logistic regression analysis. Results The total score of SCS was (85.43 ± 10.23) points in 381 clinical nurses with the medium level, which was less than that of other nurse group (109.21±9.76) points, and there was significant difference(t=-45.388, P < 0.01).The Logistic regression analysis showed that female and working in the psychiatric ward were the risk factors of self compassion(OR=1.772, 1.995, P<0.05 or 0.01). While on the night shift was the protective factor(OR=0.536, P < 0.01). Conclusions Psychiatric hospital nurse' s self-compassion is at medium level. When the nurses cope with the negative events may lack adjustment method. Nursing managers should pay attention to train the ability of the nurse individual self-compassion, targeted to carry out active intervention measures.

Objective To explore the influencing factors of disabled elderly caregivers' resilience, and to provide evidence for further intervention studies.Method Totally 221 caregivers in several communities were investigated with self-design general questionnaire,Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL),ConnerDavidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC) Chinese version,Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES) and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS).Results The caregivers' resilience score was 59.99 ± 15.86,at a medium level and lower compared with normal population (t =-5.07,P<0.01).It was positively correlated with the positive coping(r=0.468,P<0.01),general self-efficacy (r=0.546,P<0.01)and perceived (r=0.372,P<0.01).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed the positive coping,self-efficacy and social support of caregivers were influencing factors of caregivers' resilience (P<0.01).Conclusion Disabled elderly caregivers' resilience is lower than the general population, and implementation of the intervention should be taken according to different resilience levels at clinical practice.

Objective To develop the Chinese version of Attribution Questionnaire-27 and examine its replicability, reliability and validity. Methods The questionnaire was translated using the standard translation/back-translation method and examine its replicability, reliability and validity in 230 medical students who were selected by convenient method. Results The Cronbach α coefficient for Attribution Questionnaire-27 was 0.82 and ranging between 0.55 and 0.84 for the subscales. The test-retest reliabilities of the total scale was 0.77 and the subscales was between 0.61 to 0.81 after one week.Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the hypothesized six factors attribution of responsibility model (x2/df=3,GFI=0.925,NFI=0.880,CFI=0.856,IFI=0.761,RMSEA=0.094) and three factors dangerous model (x2/df=1.773,GFI=0.959,NFI=0.941,CFI=0.973,IFI=0.973,RMSEA=0.058).The path analysis results support the existing theoretical assumptions.Condusions The Chinese version of Attribution Questionnaire-27 has good reliability and validity and can be used in medical student.

Objective To investigate the status of nurses' resilience and to explore the related factors. Methods 1356 nurses from 11 level Ⅱ and level Ⅲ hospitals of Guangzhou were assessed by using the general information questionnaire and the Chinese version of Conner-Davidson resilience scale. Results The score of nurses' resilience was(59.99±13.59)points and it was significantly lower than that of the domestic norm. There was statistical difference of the score of nurses' resilience on different genders, educational background, professional titles, hospital level and night shifts. There was a positive correlation among educational background, night shifts and nurses' resilience, and a negative correlation between hospital level and nurses' resilience. The hospital level, night shifts and educational background were the influencing factors of nurses' resilience. Conclusions The level of nurses' resilience is low.The higher hospital level and educational background, and the less night shift, the higher of nurses' resilience.

Objective To investigate the abuse tendency of disabled elderly caregivers and analyze its causes. Methods With the convenience sampling method,The main caregivers of 300 disabled elderly people were investigated by the general questionnaire, Activities Daily Living Scale (ADLs) and Caregiver Abuse Screen (CASE) in Guangzhou. Results The degree of disability of the elderly was moderate to severe degree. The average score of the elderly caregiver′s propensity for abuse tendency was(3.3 ± 2.3).178 (59.4 %, 178/300) of the elderly caregivers have abuse tendency (the average score was more than 3). Conclusion Caregivers′ abuse tendency against the elderly is high. The situation of the elderly is not optimistic.
