Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;(9):884-887
General practice education at higher medical university is the foundation of the general practice educational system. It has close relationship with the cultivation quality of the general practitioners. By taking British and Australian medical colleges as examples, the paper introduced the current situation of British and Australian general practice education for undergraduate medical stu-dents and elaborated their theory learning content, their practice learning content ,their education re-form and research progress and their education target and effect. General practice education in Britain and Australia sheds light on how to set theory course, arrange practice part and improve educational research, which general practice education in China can draw lessons from.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(2):221-222
Objective To investigate the efficacy of PEG-INF alpha-2a(PEG-INF-2a)on patients with chronic hepatitis C.Methods 60 patients with hepatitis C were included in this study.30 patients were treated with PEGINF-2a(180μg or 135μg/week)and RBV 900mg/d,30 patients were treated with IFNα-2a(5 MIU/qod)and RBV 900 mg/d.The time of treatment was 48 weeks, and all the patients were followed up for 24 weeks after treatment. There was no significant difference between the two groups in pretreatment HCV-RNA,HCV genotype and other clinical data. The main parameters to evaluate the efficacy were virological and biochemical responses. The side effects were intensively observed. Results Sustained vimlogical response(SVR)rate in PEG-IFNα-2a group was significantly higher than that in IFNα-2a group(56.5%and 19.5%respectively,P<0.01).As the patients were divided according to HCV genotype 1 and high virus load.the SVR rate of PEG-IFNα-2a group Was higher than IFNα-2a group(P<0.01).However,there was no significant difference between two groups in the patients with non-genotype 1 and low viral load(P=0.664,0.116).Similar side-effects were observed in PEG IFNα-2a group and IFNα-2a group, but the rate of weisht decline and the degree of leukocyte decrease were more significant in PEG IFNα-2a group than in IFNα-2a group(P<0.01).Conclusion The efficacy of PEG IFNα-2a in the treatment of chromic hepatitis C is superior to that of conventional IFNα-2a,PEG-IFNα-2a had good tolerance and safety profiles.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2017;37(2):199-202
Objective · To prepare recombinant human TIGIT protein in E.coli and characterize its ability in binding Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fn). Methods · The gene of immunomodulatory protein of human TIGIT was amplified and cloned into pGEX4T2, and recombinant plasmid was transformed into E.coli BL21 (DE3) for GST-TIGIT fusion proteins were purified by the GST affinity chromatography and the interaction between GST-TIGIT fusion protein and Fn was tested by a pulldown assay. Results · Recombinant GST-TIGIT fusion protein expressed successfully in E.coli and was purified to homogeneity by GST affinity column. This protein could specifically bind to Fn, but not Lactobacillus acidophilus. Conclusion · High purify and activity of human GST-TIGIT fusion protein can be achieved by the prokaryotic expression system, and the adhesion between this protein and Fn has been preliminarily explored, which provides basis for further characterize interaction between them.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2015;(12):1495-1497
Objective To investigate the effect of hyperbaric oxygen ( HBO) preconditioning on activation of plasma protein C in a rat model of asphyxial cardiac arrest?resuscitation. Methods A total of 105 adult male Sprague?Dawley rats, aged 70-90 days, weighing 260-320 g, were randomly divided into 3 groups: cardiac arrest group ( group CA, n=5) , cardiac arrest?resuscitation group ( group CA∕R, n=50) , and hyperbaric oxygen preconditioning group ( group H, n=50 ) . Cardiac arrest was induced by campling the endotracheal tube at the end of expiration. The animals underwent HBO preconditioning once a day for 3 consecutive days before cardiac arrest was induced in group H. The rats were placed in the HBO chamber, 10 min later the pressure was increased at a constant rate until the hyperbaric oxygen reached 2 atmosphere absolute, and maintained at this level for 45 min, after the oxygen concentration>95%, and then the pressure was decreased at a constant rate ( within 20 min) until the normal pressure was reached. The rats underwent no resuscitation in group CA. Five rats were selected from CA∕R and H groups at 3, 6, 12 and 24 h after restoration of spontaneous circulation, and at 30 min of cardiac arrest in group CA, and blood samples were taken from the abdominal aorta for determination of the plasma activated protein C ( APC) concentrations. The time from asphyxia to cardiac arrest, time for spontaneous regular cardiac rhythm, and successful resuscitation were recorded. Results Compared with group CA, the plasma APC concentrations were significantly decreased at each time point after restoration of spontaneous circulation in CA∕R and H groups ( P<0.05) . Compared with group CA∕R, the time from asphyxia to cardiac arrest was significantly prolonged, the time for spontaneous regular cardiac rhythm was shortened, the success rate of resuscitation was increased, and the plasma APC concentrations were increased at each time point after restoration of spontaneous circulation in group H ( P<0. 05 ) . Conclusion HBO preconditioning can promote activation of plasma protein C after resuscitation in a rat model of asphyxial cardiac arrest, and is helpful in improving hypercoagulation.

BACKGROUND:Biological dressings with sealing negative pressure drainage can promote the healing of acute and chronic wounds. OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical effects of biological dressings with sealing negative pressure drainage in repair of diabetic foot ulcer. METHODS: Totaly 40 patients with diabetic foot ulcer were enroled and al underwent debridement or debridement plus skin grafting treatment. Wound treatment methods were selected according to the wiling of patients. Patients in the test group (n=20) underwent polyvinyl alcohol hydration algae salt bubble wound dressings with sealing negative pressure drainage. Patients in the control group (n=20) underwent regular wound dressing treatment. At the 7th RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The visual analog scale scores, blood sedimentation, C-reactive protein levels in the test group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The wound healing time in the test group was shorter than that in the control group (P < 0.05), and the patient satisfaction was higher in the test group than the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in economic costs between the two groups. There was no local or systemic toxicity, alergy and other adverse reactions in the test group. These results day of repair, visual analog scale scores, blood sedimentation, C-reactive protein levels, wound healing time, patient satisfaction and economic costs at the termination of the treatment in these two groups were compared. demonstrate that polyvinyl alcohol hydration algae salt bubble wound dressings with sealing negative pressure drainage in repair of diabetic foot ulcer is safe and effective to promote wound healing and reduce local inflammatory response.
