Objective:To understand the prevalence of psychoactive substance use and its related factors in young men who have sex with men (YMSM) in Tianjin. Methods:From September 2017 to December 2022, a face-to-face anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted in MSM aged 16-24 years selected by snowball sampling in Tianjin, the main demographic and behavioral information of the YMSM were collected, and blood samples were collected from them for HIV test. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify related factors of psychoactive substances use. Results:A total of 2 919 YMSM were included in the study, in whom 47.1% (1 374/2 919) had ever used psychoactive substances. The rate of psychoactive substance use in YMSM who were not students was 51.6% (853/1 653), which was higher than that (41.2%, 521/1 266) in YMSM who were students ( χ2=31.42, P<0.001). In the YMSM who were not students, multivariate analysis showed that the OR of psychoactive substance use was 1.49 times higher in smokers than in non-smokers (95% CI: 1.17-1.84), 4.14 times higher in those who had anal sex in the past six months than in those who had no anal sex (95% CI: 1.71-9.98), 1.65 times higher in those who had ≥3 anal intercourses in the last week than in those who had <3 anal intercourses (95% CI: 1.27-2.14), 1.99 times higher in those who had commercial sex in the past six months than in those who had no homosexual commercial sex (95% CI: 1.14-3.45), 2.37 times higher in those who had HIV test in the last year than in those who had no HIV test (95% CI: 1.90-2.94), 1.89 times higher in those who had STD diagnosis in the last year than in those who had no STD diagnosis (95% CI: 1.11-3.21), 0.66 times higher in those who had the first homosexual sex at age ≥20 years than in those who had the first homosexual sex at age <20 years (95% CI: 0.52-0.83), 0.48 times higher in those who were heterosexual or bisexual than in those who were homosexual (95% CI: 0.30-0.74) and 0.70 times higher in those who mainly searched sexual partners offline than in those who mainly searched sexual partners online (95% CI: 0.53-0.94). Meanwhile, in the YMSM who were students, multivariate analysis showed that the OR of psychoactive substance use was 1.31 times higher in local residents than in non-local residents (95% CI: 1.02-1.69), 1.61 times higher in smokers than in non-smokers (95% CI: 1.14-2.27), 1.52 times higher in those who had ≥3 anal intercourses in the last week than in those who had <3 anal intercourses (95% CI: 1.05-2.19), 3.31 times higher in those who had STD diagnosis in the last year than in those who had no STD diagnosis (95% CI: 1.68-6.50) and 0.53 times higher in those in Han ethnic group than in those in minor ethnic groups (95% CI: 0.30-0.94). Conclusions:The prevalence of psychoactive substance use was high in YMSM in Tianjin, and the influencing factors varied in different groups (students or not). It is necessary to conduct targeted interventions for different groups.

Objective:To investigate the protective effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy(HBOT)on myocardial fibrosis and oxidative stress induced by D-galactose(D-gal)in senescent model mice and its possible mechanism.Methods:Three-month-old male Kunming mice(n=27)were randomized into control, D-gal, and D-gal + HBOT groups. The control group received subcutaneous sterilized saline(5 ml · kg -1· d -1)for 8 weeks; the remaining 2 groups received subcutaneous D-gal(200 mg · kg -1· d -1)for 8 weeks. The D-gal + HBOT group underwent HBOT intervention at week 7~8.At the end of the experiment, the histopathological changes were analyzed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining, and the fibrosis changes were analyzed by Masson staining and Sirius red staining.Oxidative stress kit was used to detect catalase(CAT), total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD)activity and malon-di-aldehyde(MDA)content in serum of mice.Western blotting was used to detect the expression levels of the aging-related proteins p53 and p16 in mouse heart tissue, the heart-function-related proteins atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP)and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP), and the oxidative stress-related protein superoxide dismutase 1(SOD1), superoxide dismutase 2(SOD2)and catalase(CAT). Results:Cardiac morphologic staining indicated that as compared with the control group, mice of D-gal group exhibited features of senescence and the increased fibrosis area, and senescence and fibrosis were obviously improved after HBOT intervention as compared with the D-gal group. The findings of the oxidative stress kit measurement indicated that as compared with the control group, the D-gal group had markedly decreased activities of CAT and T-SOD, significantly increased MDA content in the serum. After HBOT treatment, as compared with d-gal group, serum CAT and T-SOD activities were increased, while MDA content was decreased( F=126.85, 32.89, 157.50, all P<0.05).Furthermore, as compared with the control group, the D-gal group had obviously increased contents of p53, p16, ANP and BNP, while the content of CAT, SOD1 and SOD2 were obviously decreased. After HBOT intervention, as compared with the D-gal group, the contents of p53, p16, ANP、BNP were reduced, while the content of CAT, SOD1 and SOD2 were increased( F=36.37, 14.81, 23.28, 58.41, 12.79, 80.08, 6.63, all P<0.05). Conclusions:HBOT intervention could protects against cardiac injury in aging mice, which may be related to attenuating myocardial fibrosis, inducing the expression of antioxidant enzymes, and reducing oxidative stress.

Objective:To explore the psychological experiences of lung cancer patients during treatment based on the perspective of narrative medicine, and to provide references for targeted nursing interventions. Methods:Guided by the concept of narrative medicine, the phenomenological method of qualitative research was used to conduct in-depth interviews with 20 lung cancer patients. The interview data were analyzed, refined, and summarized by using the content analysis method. Results:From the perspective of the humanistic value of narrative medicine, four themes were extracted from the interview contents with 20 lung cancer patients, including the loss of patients'role identity, the experience of disease uncertainty, the fear and expectation of death, and the helplessness and perception of life. Conclusion:During the treatment process of lung cancer patients, there are negative psychological experiences, such as loss of role identity, uncertainty of disease, fear of death, and hope to leave with dignity.Meanwhile, there are positive perceptions, such as contemplation of the meaning of life and actively coping with it.
