Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To explore the effect of glucocorticoid on disbalance of the Th 1/Th 2 cytokines to investigate the mechanism of treatment of breathing in glucocorticoid in asthmatic patients. Methods The peripheral blood was drawn and the plasma IL-4,IL-12 and IgE of control group and patients were detected by ELISA method before and after glucocorticoid treatment. The results were analysed statistically. Results ⑴In asthmatic group, plasma IL-4 and IgE levels, and PEF variant rate after treatment were lower than those before treatment (P0.05); and ⑷ Correlation analysis showed that IL-4 level positively correlated with the IgE level and PEF variant rate(r=0.64,r=0.52;P

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2015;(1):22-26
Supplementary concept records ( SCB ) can effectively supplement and expand MeSH by forming the mapping between SCB and MeSH. Chinese herbal medicine terms indentified by MeSH Browser in SCB were analyzed in aspects of their distribution, single medicine, abstracted compositions, compound prescription, classical prescription, slef-made prescription, and use frequency, which showed the supplementary concepts in relation with Chinese herbal medicine and the existed problems. Suggestions were put forward for the use of Chinese herbal medicine terms in MeSH SCB, such as promoting their standardization, and use of standard terms when scientists publish their papers and retrieve papers from databases.

Objective To compare the results of three different registration methods in the kilovolt CBCT guided IMRT for nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC).Methods Total 560 CBCT images of 24 NPC patients who received kilovolt CBCT guided IMRT were analyzed off line.Three registration methods were used for alignment between CBCT and planning CT,including translational and rotational errors for bone and grey (BoneT + R,GreyT+ R),only translational errors for grey (GreyT).The registration results were analyzed by mean paired t-test respectively. Results With method BoneT+R,the translational errors on x,y and z axes were (-0.11 ± 1.35) mm,(0.40 ± 2.09) mm and (0.95 ± 1.56) mm and the rotational errors were 1.06° ±0.67°,0.01° ± 1.28° and 0.92° ± 1.00° respectively. With GreyT+R,the translational errors on x,y and z axes were (-0.02 ± 1.06) mm,(0.68 ± 1.92) mm and (0.81 ± 1.46) mm and the rotational errors were 0.85° ±0.61°,-0.05° ± 1.32° and 0.91° ±0.72° respectively. With GreyT,the translational errors on x,y and z axes were (0.58 ± 1.02),(0.52 ± 1.89) and (0.44 ± 1.43) mm.The results of compared mean t-test for different registration methods groups have significant difference (P =0.00-0.01) except for the rotational errors on y and z axes between BoneT+R and GreyT+R (P =0.05,0.62).Conclusions There have different alignment errors when different registration methods used for NPC kilovolt CBCT guided radiotherapy. If there have correct methods for rotation errors,GreyT+R registration method may be a better choice. In opposite,GreyT+R registration method would be used firstly to verify whether the rotational error > 2°or 3°.If the rotational error > 2°or 3°,the patient should be re-setup.If not, according to these alignment results, the GreyT method, manual method would be used to compensate the translational errors.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2012;10(2):176-85
Hepatitis B-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) is a severe clinical syndrome characterized by jaundice, coagulopathy, ascites and hepatic encephalopathy and with a high mortality rate of 65% to 93%. It involves significant ethical issues when a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical study is conducted to such a serious disease. Therefore, a prospective cohort study design was utilized to explore a new treatment modality of applying integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.

Objective To determine the efficacy of the double balloon catheter in ripening and dilatation of the unfavorable cervix for induction of labor .Methods A total of 332 full-term women who were underwent induction of labor with the double balloon devices were collected for retrospective analysis .Cervix was assessed before the double balloon insertion and after it was removed 12 hours later, then amniotomy alone or combined with oxytocin was performed .Cord blood gases were analyzed .Results The double balloon catheter increased Bishop score in all subgroups with a mean improvement of 2.5 ±0.7 ( P <0.05 ) .The mean insertion-deliv-ery interval was (19.07 ±4.31)h.Cesarean section was performed in 80/332 (24.1%) patients.Cord arterial pH value was 7.3 ± 0.1 .Conclusions The double balloon catheter induced significant ripening and dilatation of the unfavorable cervix .It was effective and safe.

Objective To study the effect of extract of cockroach on animals with acute hepatic injury and its antiviral action in vitro. Methods The animal models with hepar injury were established by CCl4, bcg vaccine and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) . And the activities of ALT and AST in serum were measured. Serum of ducks was separated after cockroach extract was administrated. The serum was added to the culture fluid of HBV-DNA transfected hepatic cancer cells-HepG2. Results After the cockroach extract was administrated, the activities of ALT and AST in mouse serum were reduced. Both the therapeutic indexes of cockroach extract and lamivudine were larger than 2. Conclusions Cockroach extract can improve the liver function of animals with acute hepatic injury, and inhibit the secretion of ALT and AST in serum.

OBJECTIVEThis study is conducted to explore new methods to perform surface biomodification of titanium implants and improve osteogenic efficiency.
METHODSAn RGD peptide and chitosan (CS) were combined by acylation reaction, forming RGD-CS. An RGD-CS/pDNA complex was subsequently prepared using a complex coacervation method and grafted on a pure titanium surface after physical and biochemical treatments were performed. The chemical structural characteristics of RGD-CS were evaluated using an infrared spectrometer and an elemental analyzer. The shape of this complex was then assessed by gel electrophoresis combined with atomic force microscopy. The grafting effect of this complex on the titanium surface was detected by EB staining.
RESULTSCS and RGD peptides were coupled by an amide bond. The RGD-CS/pDNA complex was completely composited at N/P > or = 2. Atomic force microscopy results showed that the morphology of this complex was mainly spherical. EB staining experiments showed that this complex was successfully grafted on the titanium plate.
CONCLUSIONRGD peptide-modified CS can be used as a titanium implant surface plasmid package carrier of pDNA.

Objective This study aims to investigate the clinical value of percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP)combined with strontium-89 (89 Sr)on patients with spinal malignant tumor. Methods Seventy four patients who were diagnosed as spinal malig-nant tumor were divided into two groups randomly.37 patients of the control group were treated by PVP only, and 37 patients of joint group were treated by PVP and 89 Sr together. Then the clinical effect of the joint group and control group was compared after treatment. Results After treatment, the quality of life, ratio of pain relief, clinical effect and survival time in joint group were dis-tinctly better than control group (P <0.05).Conclusion PVP combined with 89 Sr can be an effective and safe treatment for pa-tients with spinal malignant tumor.
