OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of compound glycyrrhizin on hepatic function and hepatic fibrosis of patients with chronic hepatitis B. Objective This study was to examine the expression of tyrosine kinase receptor(TKRs)C-kit,C-abl and PDGFR?,in ovary carcinoma.Methods The expression of C-kit,C-abl and PDGFR? in tumor tissue of 60 specimens of ovary carcinoma and normal fissue of 20 specimens of overy was examined by immunohistochemistry SP method.Results Immunoreactivity was detected in 79% of the tumor to at least one TKR.The total positive expression rate of C-kit,C-abl and PDGFR? in ovary carcinoma was 58.3%,70%,73.3%,respectively.The positive expression rate of C-kit and PDGFR? is significantly higher in tumor tissues than in normal tissues(P

Objective To study the expression level of PKM1 and PKM2 in colorectal cancer tissue and explore the relationship between colorectal cancer progression and their expression level.Methods The PKM1 and PKM2 protein expression levels in colorectal cancer tissues and adjacent tissues to carcinoma were determined by Western blot and Immunohistochemisty method, and the relationship with colorectal cancer were discussed. Results Western blot and Immunohistochemisty results all showed that, compared with adjacent noncancerous, the protein level of PKM1 decreases significantly in cancer tissues (P<0.05), while the protein level of PKM2 increases significantly in cancer tissues (P<0.05).The protein level of PKM1 is not relative with age,sex and stage of patients, but the protein level of PKM2 is relative with pTNM(P<0.05).Conclusion Colorectal cancer tissues with low level of PKM1 and high level of PKM2, and PKM2 was related with TNM of patients.

Objective To observe the alteration of bone metabolism and to study the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and factors in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). Methods The biochemical markers of bone metabolism, bone mineral density (BMD) of the lumbar spine and the right femur, parameters of calcaneal quantitative ultrasound(QUS), blood partial pressure and pulmonary functions in 39 male patients with COPD and 30 controls were measured. Results The broadband ultrasonic attenuation (BUA) and the speed of sound (SOS), BMD of the lumbar spines and the femur were significantly lower than that in control group. To identify the isolated suspicious strain of Campylobacter jejuni from the blood of bacteremia patient in Guizhou Province ,China ,conventional and molecular techniques (specific mPCR and NAP-mPCR) were used to identify suspi-cious bacteria strains .Results showed that Campylobacter jejuni suspicious colonies were cultured in bacteremia patient blood samples .The strain was identified as Campylobacter jejuni ssp . jejuni by conventional tests and was identified as Campy-lobacter jejuni by genus specific mPCR .Then the strain was classified as Campylobacter jejuni ssp . jejuni by subspecies NAP-mPCR .The strain was identified as Campylobacter jejuni ssp .jejuni isolated from the blood of bacteremia patient and Campylobacter jejuni can be identified subspecies by NAP-mPCR .

Eight patients with suspected cases of C .jejuni were etiologically diagnosed and analyzed in this study to pro-vide scientific basis for the confirmation of the cases of human campylobacteriosis in Guizhou Province ,China .Blood or feces of 8 suspected patients were employed to isolate bacteria strains .Conventional and multi-PCR techniques were applied to identify suspicious bacteria strains .The C .jejuni strains were analyzed by using Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE) .Suspicious strains of C .jejuni were isolated from all the 8 suspected patients of campylobacteriosis and anticipated genes fragment were detected with multi-PCR .With the digestion of restriction enzyme SmaI ,the 8 C .jejuni strains were divided into 7 PFGE pat-terns with 7-10 DNA bands .Cluster analysis showed that the gross similarity of 8 strains of C . jejuni was more than 50% . The similarity of PFGE patterns between strain GZ201004 and GZ201005 from diarrhea patients was as high as 100% ,while the similarity of strain GZ201201 and GZ201007 was 66 .7% .Moreover ,C . jejuni were detected from all the suspected pa-tients of campylobacteriosis .PFGE results indicated that strains GZ201004 and GZ201005 were from the same source ,while all the 8 isolates showed PFGE polymorphism .

Objective To discuss the risk factors for susceptibility of subcutaneous tophi with an aim to provide clinical evidence for the prevention and treatment of tophi.Methods A total of 5 321 cases of gout patients whose course of disease was less than 10 years were selected and divided into two groups according to whether a subcutaneous tophus was present. The clinical information was collected and relevant biochemical indices were detected.Results There were significant differences in the ratios of regular exercise, involvement of upper limb joints, combining renal insufficiency, kidney stone and coronary heart disease between the tophus group and the non-tophus group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). There were significant statistical differences in age, disease duration, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, serum uric acid, serum creatinine, creatinine clearance rate, the number of joints involved between the two groups[(51.80±14.58 vs 48.45±14.45)year,(5.61±3.20 vs 3.28±3.06)year,(26.50±3.39 vs 27.05±3.45)kg/m2,(138±20 vs 133±18)mmHg, 1 mmHg=0.133 kPa,(89±13 vs 87±12)mmHg,(486.66±121.96 vs 460.02±119.10) μmol/L,(112.11±62.97 vs 104.43±46.28) μmol/L, (86.46±37.99 vs 93.00±40.11 )ml/min,(2.89±1.86 vs 1.76±1.22) joints, all P<0.01]. There were no statistical differences in family history, gender, history of smoking and drinking, the means of waistline, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, and total cholesterol between the two groups(all P>0.05). Further logistic regression analysis indicated that disease duration, a large number of joints involved, the involvement of upper limb joints, combining kidney stones, higher serum uric acid level, and higher diastolic pressure were risk factors of the early onset of subcutaneous tophi, while regular exercise and body mass index were protective factors.Conclusion Patients with long duration, high serum level of uric acid, a large number of joints involved, upper limb joint involved, kidney stones, and hypertension were more likely to develop subcutaneous tophi. These risk factors should be intervened actively in clinic.

Objective To summarize the etiology and clinical features of recurrent acute pancreatitis (RAP) in the recent l0 years in China.Methods Pubmed,Medline,EMbase,CNKI,Wan fang and VIP database were searched for relevant articles published from January 2001 to December 2016 using Pancreatitis,Recurrence and Etiology as term index words.Meta analysis was conducted by RevManS.3 software.Results A total of 16 studies involving 3 980 patients (RAP n =1 231,AP n =2 749) were included.The age and sex were not correlated with AP recurrence.Biliary diseases,alcohol,inappropriate diets were associated with AP recurrence,but these were not the factors influencing RAP.Hyperlipidemia was responsible for the occurrence of pancreatitis in 17.00％ of RAP and 10.20％ of AP,with statistically significant difference (P =0.002).Hyperlipidemia was an important risk factor influencing AP relapse.The percentage of SAP in AP and RAP patients was 16.83％ and 24.13％,respectively,and the complication rate was 11.43％ and 15.13％,and the percentage of jaundice was 28.20％ and 32.53％.Those in RAP were higher than those in AP,and the differences were statistically significant (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Hyperlipidemia was the predominant risk factor for RAP in China,and the patients with RAP tend to progress into SAP,and have jaundice and complications.
