Objective Malrotation of intestine with midgut volvulus is a special disease in newbo-rns.It is important of early diagnosis to avoid the risk of intestinal infarct and necrosis. We intended to ex-plore the value of early ultrasonographic diagnosis in malrotation of intestine with midgut volvulus, comparing with upper gastrointestinal imaging. Methods Ultrasonographic features and upper gastrointestinal imaging of 48surgically confirmed malrotation of intestine with midgut volvulus between January 2011and December 2014were retrospectively analyzed. Results All patients were comfirmed by operaion. The rotational degree of midgut volvulus were 90to 720°.In 43of 48patients (89.58%)of malrotation of intestine with midgut volvulus were diagnosed by ultrasonography. The typical ultrasonographic features were called “whirlpool sign”,which was the superior mesenteric vein and the mesentery around the superior mesenteric artery. In 35 of 48(72.92%)patients with malrotation were confirmed by the upper gastrointestinal imaging. The typical sign of the upper gastrointestinal imaging was the helical form of the distal duodenum and proximal jejunum located at middle abdomen.Compared with upper gastrointestinal radiographic examination, ultrasonographic examination had more sensitivity in diagnosis of malrotation of intestine with midgut volvulus (P﹤0.05). Conclusion Ultrasonographic examination have more sensitivity in diagnosis.Noninvasiveness, absence of X-rays,and low costs could make ultrasonographic examination a useful screening test in patients with sus-pected malrotation of intestine with midgut volvulus.“Whirlpool sign”could be considered a specific ultra-sonographic sign in diagnosis of midgut volvulus, which could provide reference for the clinical treatment of malrotation of intestine with midgut volvulus.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2010;24(1):73-76
Objective:To investigate the brain activation patten associated with visual sexual stimuli.Method:Thirteen healthy right-handed women were enrolled through advertisements on campus. They were scanned under functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) when they watched emotional neutral films excepts and erotic films excepts.Statistic on theses data reveals the difference of brain activation.Result:The results showed that, compared to emotional neutral films, sexual visual stimuli were associated with the activation of a set of bilateral brain areas including lateral occipital cortex, postcentral gyrus, superior parietal lobule, occipital fusiform gyrus, hippocampus, and so on.Most activated brain areas are bilateral.Only in inferior frontal gyrus pars opercularis(Z=3.64,P<0.0001) and pars triangular(Z=3.42,P=0.003) there were significant right hemispheric activation. Conclusion:fMRI results indicate that inferior frontal gyrus is related to the visual sexual stimuli of women subjects, and is specified on the right hemisphere rather than left one. This sphere-special area may play an important role on sexual message processing.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate therapeutic efficacy and safety of levamlodipine and telmisartan combined with hydro-chlorothiazide in the treatment of anti-dipper hypertension. METHODS:Totally 150 patients with anti-dipper hypertension were ran-domly divided into group A,B,C,with 50 cases in each group. Group A was given Telmisartan tablet 40 mg+Hydrochlorothiazide tablet 10 mg,once a day,in the morning. Group B was given Levamlodipine tablet 5 mg,once a day,in the night. Group C was given Telmisartan tablet(usage and dosage same as group A)+Hydrochlorothiazide tablet(usage and dosage same as group A)+Le-vamlodipine tablet(usage and dosage same as group B). Treatment courses of 3 groups lasted for 8 weeks. The changes of electro-lyte and 24 h ambulatory blood pressure were observed and compared among 3 groups before and after treatment. The incidence of adverse reactions was recorded. RESULTS:There was no statistical significance in the electrolyte indexes in 3 groups before and af-ter treatment(P>0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in 24 h blood pressure among 3 groups(P>0.05). Af-ter treatment, the 24 h blood pressure of the patients in the 3 groups after treatment was lower than before treatment, and group C was lower than that of the group A and group B(P<0.05). After treatment, the rate of anti-dipper rhythm reversal in group C was significantly higher than group A and B,with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the inci-dence of ADR among 3 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Levamlodipine and telmisartan combined with hydrochlorothiazide show good therapeutic efficacy for anti-dipper hypertension, and can reduce 24 h blood pressure and effectively reverse anti-dipper rhythm with good safety.

Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2015;(9):553-555
Background:Conventional gastrointestinal endoscopy is incapable of determining the deriving layers, size and nature of submucosal lesions, however, mini probe ultrasonography(MPS)is effective for mural stratification and determining the deriving layers and nature of lesions within gastrointestinal wall, and is considered to be an optimal examination for suspected submucosal tumors before endoscopic or surgical operation. Aims:To assess the diagnostic value of MPS for gastrointestinal submucosal lesions and the significance of MPS-assisted endoscopic therapy. Methods:A total of 69 patients with presumed gastrointestinal submucosal protruded lesions were retrospectively enrolled. All of them underwent MPS and then endoscopic therapy, such as cyst incision, high frequency electric snare resection, endoscopic mucosal resection and endoscopic submucosal dissection were performed according to the deriving layers, size and nature determined by MPS. The ultimate diagnosis was confirmed by histopathological examination. Results:In the 69 cases of lesions,MPS showed that 15 were derived from muscularis mucosa,40 from submucosa, and 14 from muscularis propria;10 of them were considered as cyst,18 were stromal tumor,8 were leiomyoma,6 were ectopic pancreas,15 were neuroendocrine tumor, and 12 were lipoma. Compared with pathological diagnosis,an overall coincidence rate of 91. 3%(63 / 69)was achieved by MPS. Conclusions:The accuracy rate of MPS is high for determining the deriving layers and nature of gastrointestinal submucosal protruded lesions prior to the attempting of endoscopic removal. It might be helpful for selecting treatment modalities for this kind of lesions.
