China Pharmacist 2017;20(1):104-106
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of high dose methylprednisolone in the pulse therapy for infantile spasms. Methods:Totally 70 cases of infantile spasms were randomly divided into the conventional dose group and high dose group with 35 ones in each according to the random number table. High dose group was given methylprednisolone pulse therapy for the first 5 days, and then received the conventional dose treatment. The conventional dose group received prednisone tablets orally. The treatment course was 8 weeks. The ECG outcome, efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between the groups, and the efficacy of pulse therapy for the patients with different causes and different course was also studied. Results:The total effective rate of high dose group was 94. 29%, which was significantly higher than that of conventional dose group (71. 43%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The EEG outcome between the groups had not statistical significance (P>0. 05). The incidence of adverse reactions in high dose group was wigher, while the difference was not significant (P>0. 05). The efficacy of pulse therapy for different causes and different course had no statistically significant difference (P >0.05). Conclusion: High dose methylpred-nisolone pulse therapy can effectively improve clinical efficacy for infantile spasms, which shows no effect on the safety of patients.
2.Evaluation of intraoperative touch imprint cytology diagnosis of sentinel lymph nodes in breast cancer
China Oncology 2001;0(05):-
The surgery of the breast cancer has dramatically changed, sentinel lymph node(SLN) is one of the aspects.SLN biopsy can precisely predict the status of axillary basin. If the SLN is negative, the patients can spare the unnecessary axillary lymph node dissection(ALND) and reduce the morbidity of the surgery. One of the most important issues with sentinel node biopsy is the intraoperative pathological evaluation of the sentinel nodes.Accurate intraoperative pathological examination of sentinel nodes would enable the selection of candidates for ALND during the initial operation, eliminating the need for second surgery. This article will review the two techniques(touch imprint cytology and frozen section) employed for intraoperative examination of SLN and compare these two methods. And evaluate the role of touch imprint cytology and existing problems in introperative diagnosis of the sentinel lymph nodes and raise the probably ways to improve the sensitivity of touch imprint cytology initially.

China Pharmacy 2001;12(2):102-103
OBJECTIVE:To observe the therapeutic effect of limaixian in treating Helicobacterium pyloricus(HP)-related gastroduodenopathy of childhood and evaluate its role playing in triple short-term therapeutic scheme(TS scheme).METHODS:153 patients, who had definitely been diagnosed as HP-related gastroduodenopathy by gastroscopy or 13 C-UBT,were randomly divided into three groups(A,B,C)receiving ST scheme(omeprazole as the main drug).Group A:omeprazole 0.8mg/(kg*d),metronidazole 20mg/(kg*d) and amoxycillin 40mg/(kg*d); Group B omeprazole, metronidazole and klacid 15mg/(kg*d); Group C:omeprazole, metronidazole and limaixian 15mg/(kg*d).Therapeutic course was 2 wks and gastroscopy or 13C-UBT were carried out 4 wks after discontinuation of drugs.RESULTS:(1)HP eradication rates of group A,B and C were 62.7%,92.1% and 94.1% respectively. The rates of group B,C were higher than that of group A.There were significant differences among three groups(X2=31.8,P<0.01).Group B showed no significant different with group C.(2) The remission rates of pain of group B and C were markedly higher than that of group A one and two wks after treatment (X2=19.3,P<0.05),there was no significant difference between group B and C.CONCLUSION:As an anti- HP infection agent in TS scheme, limaixian is better than amoxycillin in therapeutic effect.Limaixian is comparable with imported klacid and inexpensive in price,it can be used as the first choice antibiotic in TS scheme.
7.Study on the mechanism of Minocycline hydrochloride ointment adjuvant therapy for chronic periodontitis study on the mechanism of minocycline hydrochloride adjuvant therapy for chronic periodontitis
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(5):353-355
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and mechanism of minocycline hydrochloride ointment adjuvant therapy for chronic periodontitis.Methods86 patients of chronic periodontitis who received therapy from August 2013 to June 2015 in our hospital were selected.According to random number table, those patients were divided into the experimental group (n=43) and the control group (n=43).The control group was treated on the basis of the foundation treatment with tinidazole Oral Sticking Tablets and the experimental group were treated on the base of the foundation treatment with Minocycline hydrochloride sustained-release ointment, the levels of hs-CRP, TNF-a, IL-8 and IL-10 in gingival sulcus fluid were measured before and after treatment, the indexes of PLI, PD, SBI and AL were recorded,at the same time the clinical curative effect between two groups was compared.ResultsThe effective rate of the experimental group(95.35%) was higher than the control group(81.40%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);Compared with before treatment, two groups general situations and inflammation factors changed after treatment, plaque index, periodontal pocket probing depth, gingival sulcus bleeding index and adhesion levels of the experimental group were lower than the control group after treatment, the PD, SBI, AL and PLI in the experimental group were significantly lower than that of the control group, and the hs-CRP, TNF-a and IL-8 levels were lower than the control group, IL-10 was higher than the control group after treatment(P<0.05).ConclusionMinocycline hydrochloride ointment is well for chronic periodontitis, which can effectively relieve periodontal chronic inflammation, improve clinical efficacy, the underlying mechanism may be related to the reduction of IL-8 and TNF-α levels in gingival crevicular fluid.
8.Kawasaki disease shock syndrome in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2021;48(5):295-298
Kawasaki disease shock syndrome (KDSS)is a critical state of Kawasaki disease(KD)characterized by peripheral circulatory perfusion disorder and hypotension. The main causes of shock include cytokine imbalance, myocardial dysfunction and vasculitis with continuous capillary leakage.Compared with KD, KDSS shows longer fever duration, more severe inflammatory reaction, more obvious increase of D-dimer level, higher incidence of cardiovascular system abnormalities and multiple organ dysfunction, and higher proportion of unresponsive IVIG and glucocorticoid use.The early clinical manifestations and laboratory examination results of KDSS are not typical, so it is difficult to make an earlier diagnosis. The therapy of KDSS mainly includes anti-shock therapy and anti-inflammatory therapy may be associated with faster remission of shock and inflammation and better improvement of long-term prognosis. Many factors are related to the occurrence and development of KDSS.

This study was aimed to observe the effect of gold buckwheat fermented tea on both acute and chronic inflammation in mice. Ear swelling was induced by xylene. Toe swelling was induced by carrageenan. The acute inflammation model was induced by the increasing of capillary permeability in the abdomen of mice by acetic acid. The chronic inflammation model of granuloma was used in the evaluation of anti-inflammatory function of gold buckwheat fermented tea. The results showed that the gold buckwheat fermented tea can obviously decrease the rate of xylene-induced ear swelling and the degree of carrageenan-induced toe swelling in mice. And the gold buckwheat fermented tea had antagonism effect on acute inflammation caused by acetic acid through the increasing of capillary permeability in abdomen of mice. Furthermore, the gold buckwheat fermented tea had obvious inhibition effects on proliferation of granuloma in chronic inflammation. It was concluded that the gold buckwheat fermented tea had the prevention and treatment effect on both acute and chronic inflammation.
