Objective To evaluate the implementation effect of continuous nursing care in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention. Methods Totally 200 patients underwent coronary intervention were equally divided into the control group and the experimental group. Randomization was done by sealed envelopes. Routine nursing was applied inthe control group while the patients inthe experimental group werenursed continuously. Compliance of taking medication, the incidence of major adverse cardiac events (MACE events), satisfactory rate of the patients and the occurrence of stent restenosis were compared between the two groups. Results There was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in compliance of taking medication from the 6th month. According to the Morisky measurement, the score of the 6th month in the experimental group was 8.00 ± 0.00, while the control group was 7.66 ± 0.82. There was a statistical significance between the two groups (t=-4.086, P<0.01); the score of the 12th month in the experimental group was 7.94 ± 0.48, and for the control group, the score was 7.28 ± 1.58, the difference was statistically significant (t=-3.899, P<0.01). The major adverse cardiac events (MACE events) were 1% (1/100) and 4%(4/100) for the experimental and control group respectively. The satisfactory rate of the patients in the experimental group and the control group were 98%(98/100) and 81%(81/100) separately. The difference between the two groups was of statistical significance (χ2=36.39, P<0.01). The restenosis rate of the two groups was 1.2% (1/82) and 2.5% (2/79) separately, which was of no significance (χ2=0.392, P=0.613). Conclusions Continuous nursing can significantly improve the patients′ medication compliance, reduce the occurrence of MACE events, and improve the satisfaction of nursing care.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
The determination of plasma factor Ⅷ related antigen (ⅧR:Ag) is a new method to estimate the function of blood coagulation introduced only recently. The concentration of this substance of 50 patients ill with chronic renal failure, neoplastic diseases, diabetes mellitus, (all these diseases were complicated with vascular changes) and 60 normal persons were determined. The data obtained showed that the concentration of plasma factor Ⅷ related antigen was significantly increased in all the 50 patients in comparing with the normal, and the increase was most marked in those patients with malignant diseases. The clinical significance of this phenomenon was discussed and it was suggested that the increase of this plasma factor Ⅷ related antigen might reflect the severity of the damage of the vascular endothelial cells in these patients.

[Objective] To investigate the effect of ATA, a herbal medicine compound, for the treatment of the chronic infection of simian immunodeficiency virus ( SIV) in monkeys. [ Methods ] Eight Rhesus monkeys were infected with SIVmac251 to establish monkey models with chronic infection of SIV. After 18 months, the monkeys were randomized into model group and ATA group, administered with saline and ATA 2 g?kg-1?d-1 for 56 days respectively. The changes of signs were observed, plasma levels of T-lymphocyte subsets CD4+ and CD8+ were detected by flow cytometry and the lymph node biopsy were observed under light microscope before and after treatment. [Results] After treatment, the body weight increased and the incidence of infective diarrhea decreased in ATA group, the difference being insignificant. ATA had no obvious effect on white blood cells counting and the replication number of plasma SIV, but increased the plasma levels of T-lymphocyte subsets CD4+ and CD8+(P

[Objective] To observe the dynamic changes of circulating immune complex (CIC) in monkeys infected by simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV). [Methods] Agglutination test of complement-sensitized yeast cell was used to determine the serum CIC level in 30 cases of monkeys, which were infected with SIVmac251 and sampled in different time-points after infection. Sixty-eight cases of normal monkeys were also examined as controls. [Results] After SIV infection, CIC can't be detected in all 30 monkeys until the 4th week, the total positive rate being 30% . In the 8th week, CIC were detected in 46.7% of these monkeys and then declined gradually in the following 12 weeks. Since the 20th week, the CIC in these monkeys maintained lower liter and lower positive rate which was close to that of the normal monkeys (about 10%). [Conclusion] CIC appeared and increased during the primary SIV infection and declined accompanying with the virus clearance from the circulalion. The formation of CIC may not benefit to the control of virus replication and the induction of anti-virus immunity; CIC has a role in the pathogenesis after SIV infection.

Objective To study the mutations of Env sequence of SIVmac239 after infection of Chinese rhesus monkeys, and compare the differences and characteristics of Gp120 sequences of enterotropic and neurotropic SIV strains. Methods Six strains of simian immunodeficiency virus were analyzed in this study: four separated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of SIVmac239-infected monkeys and two neurotropic SIVmac251 strains.Isolated and cultured monoclonal virus was obtained by limiting dilution assay.Gp120 sequences were amplified after the RNA extraction and phylogenetic analysis was processed thereafter. So did the Gp120 amino acid sequence and N-glycosylation sites analysis of the enterotropic and neurotropic strains. Results SIVmac239 had different mutations in four rhesus monkeys. The diversity in amino acid sequences of the enterotropic and neurotropic strains concentrated in the V1 and V4 regions of Gp120.The enterotropic strains had an addition of glycosylation site in V4 but the glycosylation site changes of neurotropic strains were located in the conservative regions of C1, C2 and C3.Conclusions The addition of one glycosylation site in V4 region of GP120 and loss of one glycosylation site in C1 region are associated with enhanced enterotropism and neurotropism. The differences between the enterotropic and neurotropic strains are not dipicted in Gp120 V3 region which is closely related with the tropism of strains.
