Objective To investigate the prevalence of dyslipidemia and overweight/obesity of residents from different economic communities.Method One thousand six hundred and twenty-three residents from three communities with different economic condition in Huadu District,Guangzhou from June to July 2012 participated in the survey by questionnaire and health examination.Results The total prevalence rate in overweight/obesity was 29.4%and that of dyslipidemia 45.4%. The difference of prevalence rate of dyslipidemia among the three economic communities was not statistically significant(P>0.05). But the prevalence of overweight/obesity was statistically significantly different among them(P<0.05). The prevalence rate of overweight/obesity in Huadong town with a relatively poorer economy was lower than that of Tianmei town with a relatively better economy(P<0.017). The prevalence rate of overweight/obesity of male among the three communities had no significant differences(P>0.05),whereas the differences in the females were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the prevalence rate of Huadong town was lower than that of Tianmei town&Xinhua town. The differences in the prevalence of overweight/obesity at different ages from all economic communities showed statistical significance(all P<0.05).The residents aged 45~65 accounted for a large proportion of overweight/obesity.Conclusions Residents in the area have a high prevalence of overweight/obesity and dyslipidemia. The prevalence rates of overweight/obesity from the villages with better economic conditions are higher than that from the villages with poorer economic conditions. Residents aged 45-65 from all the three communities have a relatively high occurrence of overweight/obesity and dyslipidemia.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical and bacterial efficacy and safety of cefoperazone/sulbactam(Sulperazone) on severe nosocomial lower respiratory infections. METHODS The clinical materials in the treatment of severe nosocomical lower respiratory infections from Mar 2002 to Mar 2005 were analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS The overall clinical efficacy rate of Sulperazone was 83.9%,the bacterial eradication rate was 92.%,The sensitivity rate to Sulperazone was 88.2%.There was no adverse reaction in the observation. CONCLUSIONS Sulperazone is effective and safe in the treatment of severe nosocomial lower respiratory infection.

Objective To establish an effective post-operative oral care procedure for patients with oral cavity cancer.Methods Eighty five post-operational patients with oral cavity cancer admitted to Sichuan Cancer Hospital during March 2011 and March 2013 were randomly divided into control group (42cases) and study group (43 cases).Patients in control group were given routine oral care,and those in study group received a special care procedure:normal saline washing + dioxogen cleaning + normal saline washing + normal saline gargle.Oral cleanliness,oral and lung infections were observed in both groups,and SPSS 17.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results Oral cleanliness,rates of oral infection and lung infection at d3 after operation,time of infections,the delayed wound healing and operating comfort were improved in the study group (Z/t/x2 =-2.48,4.57,4.64,2.36,2.25,-2.51,4.18,respectively; all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The oral care procedure containing normal saline washing + dioxogen cleaning +normal saline washing + normal saline gargle can improve oral cleanliness early after operation,reduce complications and increase the operating comfort.

Objective To investigate the expression of miR-218 in cervical cancer tissues and bioinformatically analyze the target genes of miR-218 to provide theoretical basis on further studies of miR-218 functions in cervical cancer.Methods miRNA array was applied to detect miRNA expression profile in cervical cancer tissues,and real-time RT-PCR was used for validation.The bioinformatic analysis of the target genes of miR-218 involved gene ontology and signal transduction pathway enrichment was performed.Results miR-218 expression significantly decreased in cervical cancer tissues compared with that of normal cervical tissues.The functions of predicted target genes of miR-218 were enriched in biological regulation,adhesion and motion,proteometabolism,cellular differentiation,protein binding and other biological processes and molecular functions.According KEGG pathway database,the predicted target genes involved in pathway in cancer,adherent junction,focal adhesion,prostate cancer,chronic myeloid leukemia,melanoma,and other signal transduction pathways.Conclusions miR-218 expression significantly decreases in cervical cancer tissues.Some of the predicted target genes of miR-218 are significantly enriched in tumor related with signaling pathways.

At present,all parts of our country and the units are on their own to explore the ways and methods of public health physician training,and to develop a unified national public health standardized training system is particularly important.This study introduces the composition and practice of British public health specialist training and its access system,draws on the successful experience of this system and puts forward some suggestions such as paying attention to the cultivation of clinical basic knowledge,rationally using industry associations and societies and so on from the public health doctor training system,which provides the basis for promoting the establishment of a national public health physician training system.

AIM:To establish a simple and accurate HPLC method for quality evaluation and determination of 8 active constituents, i.e. Danshensu, Protocatechualdehyde,rosmarinic acid,Salvianolic acid B, Dihydrotanshinone, Cryptotanshinone, Tanshinone Ⅰand Tanshinone ⅡA in Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, at the same time, in order to study the correlations of the contents of the 8 constituents. METHODS: Detected at 286 nm, analytes were separated on a ODS C_ 18 column(150 mm?4.6 mm, 10 ?m) eluted gradually with methanol and 1% tetrafuran in 1% formic acid water solution(3∶97)on the increasement of methanol from 3% to 70% in the whole analysis. After determination, SPSS 13.0 software was used to calculate the correlation between the 8 constituents. RESULTS: Under the above conditions, HPLC method was constructed to quantify 8 constituents,and their correlation coefficients were calculated. CONCLUSION: The result shows that the contents of the 8 constituents in Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. vary greatly from different origins; and there are significant correlations between the contents of hydrophilic constituents such as Salvianolic acid B,Danshensu,rosmarinic acid, so do hydrophobic constituents like Cryptotanshinone,Tanshinone Ⅰ,Tanshinone ⅡA,but there is no correlation between the hydrophilic constituents and hydrophobic constituents.

Objective To compare the curative effects between recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide (rhBNP) and sodium nitroprusside in treatment of the acute attack of elderly patients with chronic heart failure (CHF), and probe the impacts of rhBNP on the heart function,serum B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP), norepinephrine (NE), endothelin 1 (ET-1) and antidiuretic hormone (ADH) levels. Methods The 89 patients aged 65-85 years at acute attack stage of CHF were randomized into two therapy groups: rhBNP group (n= 47) and sodium nitroprusside group (n=42). The clinical effects, heart function, serum BNP, NE, ET-1 and ADH changes were observed before and after the treatment. Results After 24 hours of treatment, the efficacy rate and total effective rate were higher in rhBNP group than in sodium nitroprusside group (51.1% vs. 26.2 %,95.7% vs. 66. 7%, respectively, P＜0. 05 and P＜0. 01), and non-efficacy rate in rhBNP group was lower (4.3% vs. 33. 3%, P＜0. 01). There was one death case in rhBNP group and three in sodium nitroprusside group. In rhBNP group, left ventricular ejection fraction values increased after 2 weeks of treatment [(46.2± 9.5)% vs. (38.1 ±6.0)%], P＜0.05. Serum BNP level significantly decreased in rhlBNP group than in sodium nitroprusside group after 2 weeks of treatment (P＜0.05).In rhBNP group, serum BNP and NE levels decreased 24 hours and 2 weeks after treatment (P＜0. 01) and the levels furtherly reduced after 2 weeks (P＜0.01). Serum ET-1 level decreased in rhBNP group than in sodium nitroprusside group 2 weeks after treatment (P＜0.05). In rhBNP group, there was no significant difference in serum ET-1 level between baseline and 24 hours after treatment (P＞ 0. 05), but the ET-1 level decreased 2 weeks after treatment as compared with 24 hours after treatment (P＜0.01). There were no significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment (P＞0.05). Incidences of headache and hypotension were lower in rhBNP group than in sodium nitroprusside group (4.3% vs. 19.0%, 14.9% vs. 23.8%, both P＜0.05),Conclusions RhBNP can be safely and effectively used for acute attack of CHF.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of gallic acid,chlorogenic acid,paeoniflorin and paeonol in Fule granules. METHODS:HPLC method was adopted. The determination was performed on Ultimate XB-C18 col-umn with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.05%phosphoric acid(gradient elution)at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The detec-tion wavelengths were 270 nm(gallic acid,paeonol),325 nm(chlorogenic acid)and 230 nm(paeoniflorin). The column tempera-ture was 30 ℃,and sample size was 10 μL. RESULTS:The linear ranges of gallic acid,chlorogenic acid,paeoniflorin and pae-onol were 0.0762-1.524 μg(r=0.9997),0.0376-0.751 μg(r=0.9999),0.0303-0.606 μg(r=0.9997),0.0206-0.412 μg(r=0.9998),respectively. The limits of quantification were 0.353,0.276,0.421,0.540 μg/mL,and the limits of detection were 0.121,0.104,0.148,0.186μg/mL. RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were all no more than 2.04%. The recover-ies were 95.24%-100.47%(RSD=1.59%,n=9),99.49%-103.70%(RSD=2.27%,n=9),96.27%-101.09%(RSD=1.94%,n=9),95.05%-98.89%(RSD=1.22%,n=9), respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,accurate and reproducible,and can be used for the simultaneous determination of gallic acid,chlorogenic acid,paeoniflorin and paeonol in Fule granules.

Objective: To construct effective short hairpin RNA (shRNA) recombinant plasmids targeting humanDystrophin Dp71 gene, and evaluate their interference effciency. Methods: hTree pairs of siRNA sequences targeting human Dp71 gene and one pair of control siRNA sequence were designed, synthesized, and then inserted into the pRNAT-U6.1/Neo vector. hTe shRNA recombinant vectors were evaluated by enzyme digestion and sequencing. Dp71-shRNA and control shRNA plasmids were transfected into human normal gastric epithelial cells (GES-1) and humanbronchial epithelium (HBE). Western blot was used to evaluate its interfering effciency. Results: Restriction enzyme digestion and sequencing showed that the Dp71-shRNA vectors were successfully constructed. Western blot displayed that Dp71 protein expression was reduced to a signiifcant degree atfer transfection with the 3 Dp71-shRNA plasmids, and Dp71-shRNA2 plasmid inhibit the Dp71 expression most effciently. Conclusion: Dp71-shRNA vectors have been successfully constructed. The 3 Dp71-shRNA plasmids can inhibit Dp71 expression in GES-1 and HBEC, with Dp71-shRNA2 plasmid displaying the highest inhibition effciency.
