Objective To investigate the difference between two substrains,5-8F and 6-10B,of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line SUNE1on expressing metastasis-associated gene 1 (MTA1),and evaluate the silencing effect of lentivirus-mediated RNA interference (RNAi) on MTA1 in human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line. Methods The differential expression of MTA1 mRNA and MTA1 protein in 5-8F and 6-10B cell lines were detected by real time PCR and Western blotting respectively.Short interference RNA (siRNA) fragment targeting MTA1 gene was designed using online databases and software.A specific RNAi lentiviral vector targeting human MTA1 gene was constructed and transfected into nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line 5-8F.Real time PCR and Western blotting were performed to detect the expressive changes in MTA1 mRNA and MTA1 protein in the transfected 5-8F cells respectively. Results Compared with cell line 6-10B,the expressions of MTA1 mRNA and MTA1 protein were higher in 5-8F cell line.Sequence analysis validated the correct insert of siRNA targeting MTA1 gene into the lentiviral vector.Real time PCR and Western blotting results showed that the expressions of MTA1 mRNA and MTA1 protein in 5-8F cell lines were down-regulated significantly after siRNA transfection. Conclusions MTA1 may promote the malignant transformation and enhance the metastatic potential of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines. The expression of MTA1 in 5-8F cells can be inhibited effectively by MTA1-specific siRNA expression lentiviral vector, which provides a valuable tool for investigating the role of MTA1 gene in the carcinogenesis and progression of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Objective:To investigate the relationship among happiness, resilience, optimistic intelligence quotient and perceived social support in patients with advanced gynecological cancer. Methods:A total of 269 patients with advanced gynecological cancer from January 2018 to January 2019 in three top three hospitals in Shanghai were selected as subjects by convenient sampling. The basic information questionnaire, Memorial University of New-foundland scale of happiness, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale simplified Chinese version, Optimistic Intelligence Quotient Questionnaire and Perceived Social Support Scale were used to investigate. Results:The score of happiness was (32.45±6.37), the score of resilience was (30.64±8.78),the score of optimistic intelligence quotient was (62.74±12.49) and the score of perceived social support was (68.14±4.25) in patients with advanced gynecological cancer. Linear regression equation analysis showed that happiness and optimistic intelligence quotient × happiness had significant predictive effect on resilience ( β values were 0.547, 0.016, P < 0.05), optimistic intelligence quotient had no significant predictive effect on resilience ( P>0.05), and optimistic intelligence quotient, happiness, resilience, optimistic intelligence quotient×happiness had significant predictive effect on perceived social support ( β values were 0.015-0.251, P<0.01). Happiness could regulate the direct path and the first half of the mediating effect of resilience between perceived social support and optimistic intelligence quotient. According to Johnson-Neyman's analysis, the boundary value of the moderating effect of happiness between optimistic intelligence quotient and resilience was 26.19, and the boundary value of the moderating effect of happiness between optimistic intelligence quotient and perceived social support was 22.08. Conclusions:There is a positive correlation between optimistic intelligence quotient and perceived social support in patients with advanced gynecological cancer. Resilience can play a significant mediating role between optimistic intelligence quotient and perceived social support under the regulation of happiness, which can provide corresponding psychological intervention for patients with advanced gynecological cancer.

Objective To probe into the relationship between social support, coping styles and resiliency of nurses in surgery department. Methods A total of 192 surgical nurses were selected from a general tertiary hospital in Fuzhou on random cluster sampling basis. The following measures were used to collect data:the Chinese version of Mental Resilience Scale, the Simple Coping Style Questionnaire and the Social Support Rating Scale. Results The resilience score of surgical nurses was (58.41 ± 12.86) points. Also, resilience had positive and significant correlation with positive coping styles, social support, objective support , subjective support and support utilization degree (more specifically r = 0.629, P <0.01 and r = 0.334, P < 0.01, r = 0.242, P < 0.01 and r = 0.312, P < 0.01 and r = 0.156, P < 0.05). Conclusions The overall level of resiliency in surgical nurses was undesirable, however effective problem-based coping skills and adequate social support may help the group improve resilience and to qualify for better nursing services.

Objective To explore the methods of identifying factitious/fraudulent disorders (M?n-chausen syndrome), enhancing the understanding of their predisposing factors, clinical features, and underlying psychopathology. Method After a final diagnosis of factitious fever was made, data of 4 patients presenting with a puzzling fever of unknown origin were analyzed and compared with those of other cases reported in the English literature. Result It was confirmed that the elevated temperature recorded in the clinical charts of the 4 patients was faked by manipulating of the thermometer. Conclusion These 4 cases show the existence of factitious/fraudulent disorders in China, possibly related to an abnormal psychology, but the tricks employed by the patients are relatively simple compared with those used abroad.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2010;12(12):1623-1627
Objectiye To explore the expression of COX-2 and VEGF and its clinical significance in non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Methods The expression of COX-2 and VEGF were detected by immunohistochemistry in 42 cases of NHL and 20 cases of lymph node with benign pathological change. Results The positive rate of COX-2 and VEGF was 45.24% and 73.81% in NHL respectively. The expression rate of VEGF was positively correlated with that of COX-2 in tissues of NHL ( x2 = 4. 63, P < 0. 05).The expression of COX-2 was related to clinical stage and histopathologic grade of NHL ( x2 = 5.43, P <0. 05), but it had no association with gender, age, B symptoms, and IPI. The expression of VEGF was significantly related with aggression, B symptoms and IPI ( x2 =8. 979, 8. 893,6. 434, P <0. 05), but it had no association with age, gender and clinical stages. Conclusion COX-2 and VEGF may be involved in NHL tumorgenesis, and COX-2 may accelerate angiogenesis by increasing VEGF expression. Specific COX-2 inhibitors may be a novel therapeutic approach for NHL.
