Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective To study the relation between TCM syndromes of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and expression of Fas and sFas. Methods The relation between the TCM syndrome types of SLE patients and experssions of Fas and sFas was analyzed through detecing Fas and sFas in the blood of SLE patients and control group. Results The expression of Fas in heat-toxin syndrome and Yang deficiency syndrome of spleen and kidney were higher than control group and interior heat syndrome due to Yin deficiency. Serum sFas of SLE patients was higher than control, but there was no significant difference among the three syndrome types. Conclusion The expression of Fas and sFas has obvious relation with TCM syndrome types and can be used for the syndrome differentiation of SLE.

Objective To clarify the effect of myofunctional treatment on primary and mixed dentition malocclusion. Methods Twenty-seven children were selected,3 were in primary dentition among which 2 showed deep overbite.24 were in mixed dentition and presented crowding in anterior area among which 4 children combined with anterior crossbite,2 showed deep overbite and deep overjet. All the patients were treated with myofunctional trainer such as INFANT,T4K or I2N appliances according to their age and malocclusion type. The patients were instructed to wear the trainers for at least one hour a day keeping their lips together or overnight while sleeping.Muscle exercises were done when wearing the trainer during daytime. Results After 6-10 months,24 patients who were in good compliance had their teeth aligned, deep overjet and deep overbite corrected, and facial profile improved. Conclusions Myofunctional treatment is effective on primary and mixed dentition malocclusion. It is important to have patients' good compliance.

Objective Implement random sample from a simulation population,to evaluate the The impact of samplesize and sample-process on several usual importance evaluate methods, observe the stability of those methods. Methods This study introduced existed importance methods, using PROC SURVEYSELECT procedure to sample a fixed population for 1000 times, generating 1000 same size sample,to evaluate the stability of relative importance methods. We sampled the population to generate datasets with different sample size to observe impact of sample-size on those methods. Results The sum of squared correlation coefficients' estimator is bigger than model R-square,squared standardized regression coefficients' sum is smaller. In contrary, sum of the Product Measure,Relative Weight and Dominance Analysis are extremely close to model R-square.When the sample size small than 1000,the estimator have obviously variation, but the variation decreased when the sample size rise up.Conclusion The dominance analysis has best stability, also has the best match of model R2 in those methods.

Objective To control the quality of Gongyankang granule. Methods Paconiflorin in Gongyankang granule was determined by HPLC,using a Phenomenex Prodigy Thermouest(250×4.6 mm 5μm BDS C18).Mobile phase was consisted of CH_2OH-H_2O-H_3PO_4(30:70:0.1)with the UV detector set at 230 nm.Results The paeoniflorin showed linear correlation(r=0.9998)within the range of 0.01026~0.06156mg.The average recovery rate was 99.12%with RSD of 1.61%.Conclusion This method was simple, accurate and with good reproducibility, thus it can be used for quality control of Gongyankang Granule.

In 2012, the contracted service with the general practitioners ( rural doctors) was implemented in Zhejiang Province. This paper conducted an analysis on the existing problems in the contracted service from three as-pects of policy background, policy objective, main measures and the following suggestions have been put forward:Strengthening the whole family team of doctors and information construction, and improving the multi sectoral coopera-tion mechanism in order to establish the classified diagnosis and treatment system as targeted to lay a good foundation.

Objective To evaluate the accuracy and feasibility of estimation of left ventricular dp/dtmax by continuous-wave Doppler mitral regurgitation velocity curve versus cardiac catheterization in patients with mitral incompetence. Methods One hundred and five patients with mitral incompetence were enrolled in this study. The Doppler spectrum of mitral regurgitation velocity was recorded with a speed of 100mm/s. The velocities and time of two points on the ascending slope of the spectrum were calculated directly in order to estimate left ventricular dp/dtmax. In 40 patients, left ventricular pressure and dp/dtmax were measured with cardiac catheterization. Results The correlation coefficient between Doppler dp/dtmax and catheterization dp/dtmax was 0.84 (P

Tooth agenesis constitutes one of the most common developmental anomalies in man. Oligodontia is defined as congenital absence of six or more teeth. Based on the studies of our team in cooperation with Peking University Center for Human Disease Genomics in the past five years, this article reviews the current research progress in clinical phenotypes and case collection, epidemiological investigation and etiological genetic studies of oligodontia. The symptoms of oligodontia were classified into syndromic and non-syndromic according to the occurrence of tooth agenesis with or without systemic developmental defects. As for the advancement of theories and techniques of molecular genetics, a number of gene mutations have been identified to be the direct etiological factors causing some specified diseases, especially those with developmental defects. Here, this article summarized the outcomes of molecular genetic study of some cases we collected. Of the systemic oligondontia patients, a new four-base-deletion mutation in PITX2 was identified in a large kindred with typical symptoms of Rieger Syndrome; four different gene mutations in ED1 casing X-linked hypohidrotic ectodermal displasia were found in five nucleus families. Compared with the former, non-syndromic oligodontia has more genetic heterogeneity rather than some specific virulence gene. PAX9 and MSX1 are the identified genes associated with family tooth agenesis without systemic syndrome. Also, in our research, three gene mutations in CBFA1 were detected in four cleidocranial dysplasia families, which is a systemic developmental disease including the symptoms of tooth eruption abnormality and accessory teeth.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
Confocal microscope and flow cytometry were used to study the adhesion and the expression of adhesive molecules between different metastatic lung cancer cells and endothelial cells (EC) in vitro. Tea polyphenols (TP) were tested for their effect on tumor cell endothelial adhesion. The results showed that the adhesion and expression of CD44?CD54 were significantly higher in PG cells than those in D9 cells. Treatment of EC monolayers with LPS(0 5ug/ml) for six hours caused an increase in adhesion of PG to EC and adhesive molecules expression. TP could inhibit the adhesion of PG to EC and expressions of CD44 and CD54 in dose dependent manner. It suggested that adhesion molecules might play an important role in mediating the adhesion of lung carcinoma to EC and hematogenous metastasis; TP had an inhibitory effect on metastasis of lung cancer.

Objective To investigate the effect of 17?-Estradiol(E 2)on the proliferation cycle of human mucoepidermoid carcinoma Mc3 cells. Methods Mc3 cells were processed with various concentrations of E 2 for various durations. Then, cell proliferation and cell cycle distribution were examined by MTT assay and flow cytometry; CyclinD1 and P27 Kip1 expressions were assessed with immunohistochemistry. Results After being exposed to E 2 in concentrations of 10 -9,10 -8 or 10 -7mol/L for 5 days, the proliferation of the Mc3 cells was enhanced by 29%,54% and 59% respectively, CyclinD1 expression was increased by 16%,19% and 24%, And P27 Kip1 expression was decreased by 33%,30% and 55%, respectively. Compared with the control group, the number of cells in S phase increased by 11.3%,6.6% and 46.7% after the Mc3 cells were exposed to E 2 in the concentration of 10 -7mol/L for 12h,18h or 24h, and the proliferation index(PI) was also increased by 6.0%,3.6% and 205.0% respectively. Conclusion Physiological concentration of E 2 may promote Mc3 proliferation by increasing the expression of CyclinD1 and decreasing the expression of P27 Kip1, thereby stimulate the growth and development of the tumor.
