The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(16):2583-2585
Objective To investigate the risk factors of radiation-induced oral mucositis (ROM) and to provide evidence for the prevention of ROM. Methods The severity of ROM was observed and recorded in 56 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The association of the severity of mucositis with age , sex, clinical stage, concurrent chemoradiotherapy, white blood cell count,BMI index, smoking, alcohol intake, and history of diabetes were assessed by using multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results The severity of ROM was significantly associated with a decrease in leucocyte count (P<0.05), and it was not markedly correlated with the other eight factors (P>0.05). Conclusions Leukopenia was one of the risk factors for the development of ROM. In clinical pratice, leukopenia should be corrected in patients with bone marrow depression due to radiotherapy in a timely manner.

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the processing technology for Stemonae radix fried with honey. METHODS:Firstly,sin-gle factor test of processing technology for Stemonae radix fried with honey was investigated with the amount of added water,infil-trating time, processing time and temperature as factors, using property and total alkaloid content as indexes. Then, the test was de-signed by orthogonal test;the processing technology was optimized by comprehensive weighted mark method with the amount of added water, processing time and temperature as factors, using total alkaloid content and anti-cough activity for mice as indexes;validation test was conducted. RESULTS:The optimal technology was as follows as 12.5 g honey dissolved with 10 g water for each 100 g Stemonae radix,at 140 ℃,processing for 6 min. In validation test, average content of total alkaliods was 0.77%(RSD=1.5%,n=3);average anti-cough activity was 91.20%(RSD=1.2%,n=3). CONCLUSIONS:The optimized process is simple, stable and easy, and provides reasonable trial reference for the formulation of processing technology for Stemonae radix fried with honey.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2001;0(03):-
Objective: To explore how the Chinese- English Bilinguals represent knowledge of the second language. Methods: The inter- language priming effects were investigated in two priming- category judgement tasks based individual- ly on the semantic (ExperimentⅠand ExperimentⅡ) and phonological information (ExperimentⅢ and ExperimentⅣ). Re- sults: In experimentⅠand ExperimentⅡ, no matter what the relation between the English targets and the English primes was semantic association or homophones and similar phones, the significant priming effects were obtained; However, In the experimentⅢ, when the relation between the targets and the primes was semantic association, no significant priming effect was found; In experimentⅣ, when the relation was homophones and similar phones, the significant priming effects were obtained. Conclusion: ①The second language knowledge of Chinese- English Bilinguals was represented in the semantic and phonological characters; ②The conceptual representation could be discreted with the lexical representation.

Objective To study the brain development in infants of diabetic mother. Methods The development of cerebral grey matters and white matters was evaluated in 64 infants of pregnant diabetic mother by echoencephalography and medical image analysis system. The parameters were compared with 101 infants of non-diabetic mother. The early brain response function of newborns was assessed. The neurodevelopment after neonatal period was also evaluated. Results The brain in infants of diabetic mathers was immature. The average values of grey density in thalami (76.92?6.60) were significantly lower in full term infants of diabetic mathers than that of the infants of non-diabetic mathers (84.72?6.35). These were also obvious in white matters of frontal lobe [(62.68?5.21) vs (67.60?4.09)] and occipital lobe [(73.39?5.67) vs (78.61?2.95)] (P

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 1994;0(04):-
Objective To analyse the clinicopathological changes of Alport syndrome (AS) and to detect the deposition of type Ⅳ collagen within basement membrane of Alport patients. Methods Fourteen patients with AS (12 families) hospitalized from 1990. 1 to 1996. 6 were investigated. Eleven were male and 3 female (mean age 29. 4 years). Results Microscopic hematuria was found in 13, with recurrent gross hematuria in 7. All had proteinuria. Three patients presented nephrotic syndrome. Progressive renal failure occured in 10 of 11 male(11 - 39 years) and 1 female (40 years). Six patients were treated with hemodialysis, two of them with transplantation. Sensorineural deafness was observed in 9 patients particularly high frequency sound. Anterior lenticonus were presented in 2. It showed heterogeneitic, 50% transmitted as X-linked dominant(XD) trait. In 7 renal biopsies, the findings by light microscopy mostly revealed focal and segmental sclerosis glomerulonephritis (4/7). The results of immunofluorescenc e (IF) were ne gatt ye in 4. Ultrastructural studies showed variable thickening, thinning of glomerular basement membrane (GBM) in 7 specimens with lamellation and basket-weaving of GBM in 1. Using the iIF technique, the ?3, 4, 5 (Ⅳ) chains were absent within both GBM and EBM of 4 male XD-AS patients. Conclusions AS is not a rare hereditary disease characterized by hematuria, proteinuria and progressive renal failure with sensorineural deafness and ocular lesions. Type Ⅳ collagen within Alpori patients' basement membrane is abnormal and iIF study of type Ⅳ collagen chains distribution is useful to confirm the diagnosis of AS.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
Confocal microscope and flow cytometry were used to study the adhesion and the expression of adhesive molecules between different metastatic lung cancer cells and endothelial cells (EC) in vitro. Tea polyphenols (TP) were tested for their effect on tumor cell endothelial adhesion. The results showed that the adhesion and expression of CD44?CD54 were significantly higher in PG cells than those in D9 cells. Treatment of EC monolayers with LPS(0 5ug/ml) for six hours caused an increase in adhesion of PG to EC and adhesive molecules expression. TP could inhibit the adhesion of PG to EC and expressions of CD44 and CD54 in dose dependent manner. It suggested that adhesion molecules might play an important role in mediating the adhesion of lung carcinoma to EC and hematogenous metastasis; TP had an inhibitory effect on metastasis of lung cancer.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2011;20(6):547-548
Objective To discuss the relationship among Big Five-Personality, Resilience and General Health of the new recruits in a certain troop. Methods 205 new recruits completed the questionnaires, which include NEO Five-Factor Inventory ( NEO-FFI) , Connor-Davidso Resilience Meter (Chinese version) , and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12). Results The neuroticism trait of personality positively correlated to General Health( r = 0.50, P<0.001) and significantly predicted mental disease (β =0.4, P<0.01). The self-strengthening dimension of resilience was negatively related to general health ( r = - 0. 51 , P<0. 01 ). Furthermore, self-strengthening played partial mediating role between neuroticism and general health ( Sobel Z =2. 92, P<0. 01). Conclusion The neuroticism trait of personality is a risk factor for new recruits'mental health, while self-strengthening is a protective factor for it.
