1.Primary Culture of Neurospheres Obtained from Fetal Mouse Central Nervous System and Differentiation of Inner Ear Hair Cell Immunophenotypes in Vitro
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 1997;0(04):-
Objective To examine whether hair cell immunophenotypes could be derived from the central nervous system (CNS). Methods We established cell cultures from embryonic day 14.5 fetal mouse brain tissues, and analyzed changes in immunohistochemical features of the CNS cell cultures by induction of differentiation.with FGF-2 and EGF.Results The results of this study showed that neural progenitors obtained from fetal rat CNS generated hair cell immunophenotypes with expression of epitopes of hair cell marker proteins myosin VIIa in vitro. Conclusion These findings indicate that immature neural progenitors possess the potential to differentiate into hair cell phenotypes. Immature neural progenitors may be useful as materials for cell transplantation therapy for replacement of damaged inner ear hair cells. Key words: central nervous system, hair cell, immunohistochemical, immunophenotype, transdifferentiation.

Objective To control the hazardous effects of excessive arsenic in drinking water on human health. Methods The experiment on the removal of excessive arsenic from drinking water by electric absorb technology (EST) was performed. Results The pilot experiment and experiment in situ showed that, after treatment by EST, the contents of arsenic in source water(0.06-0.33 mg/L) decreased to the levels of
3.Changes in Electrophysiology and Ultramicrostructure after Noise Exposure in Cochlea of Guinea Pigs
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 1998;0(03):-
Objective To observe the changes in electrophysiology and ultramicrostructureafter noise exposure in cochlea of guinea pigs. Methods Thirty animals were divided into 4 groups:group 1 was normal animals, while group 2,3 and 4 were animals of 0.5 hours,7 days and 3 weeks after exposed to noise of 120 dB SPL for 2 hours, respectively. The ABR and 40 Hz-AERP were measured before and after exposure. The hair cells were observed by scanning electron microscope. Results The amplitudes of ABR and 40 Hz-AERP disappeared right after noise exposure, however, they returned to normal 7 days and 3 weeks later . The scanning electron microscopy showed the stereocilia of the hair cells were disarranged and some disappeared at the second and fourth circle of the cochlea . The changes of the pathology at the fourth circle were more serious than that of the second circle. Conclusion The stereocilia of the hair cells had recovered after noise exposure.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of reinforcing and reducing by acupuncturing at lower He-sea points along and against channel's direction in treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).Method Sixty-one GERD patients were randomized into a treatment group of 34 cases and a control group of 27 cases. The treatment group was intervened by reinforcing and reducing by acupuncturing at lower He-sea points along and against channel’s direction, while the control group was treated with oral administration of Omeprazole tablets. The two groups were intervened once a day, 4 weeks in total. The clinical efficacies in the two groups were compared based on the symptoms scores before and after the treatment.Result The total effective rate was 97.1% in the treatment group versus 85.2% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The relapse rate 6 months after the treatment was 16.7% in the treatment group versus 50.0% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Reinforcing and reducing by acupuncturing at lower He-sea points along and against channel’s direction is an effective approach in treating GERD.

Purpose:To explore the clinical feature, and treatment of primary cervical lymphoma. Methods:Clinical data and follow-up survey data of 26 cases were retrospectively analyzed with SSPS software. Results:Primary cervical lymphoma could occur in any age group of women. The misdiagnosis rate was as high as 57.69% (15/26 case).Three of 26 patients died, the five years survival rate was 88.46%.Conclusions:Primary cervical lymphoma is rare, which was very often misdiagnosised. The treatment consisted of an combination of chemotherapy, operation and radiotherapy, which could improve curative results and reduce relapse.

Objective To realize scientific allocation of medical monitors in clinical departments by evaluating quantitatively their social and economic benefits. Methods Analyses were executed on social and economic benefit indexes, including number or times of patients involved, utility time, volatility of utilization rate (VOUR),payback period and investment yield. Results Totally 457 monitors were involved in the study from January to June 2015,and the monitors had the number or times of patients being 20,utility time being 383 h,VOUR lower than 10% (except that of February),mean payback period being 0.64 a and yearly mean investment yield being 137%.Conclusion The monitor has to be allocated by the equipment division in case of low social benefit. In case of high social benefit while low economic benefit, the monitor manufactured in China gains advantages due to short payback period, high investment yield and long free warranty time. The foreign monitor with specific function has to be selected in case of high social and economic benefits as well as requirements on special function.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2007;19(2):143-148
An experimental study on flowrate and stability of a type of control valve of 600MW supercritical steam-turbine was presented by measuring instruments of static, dynamic pressure and vibration in self-designed test rig. The investigation shows that flow coefficient is 30% up more than that of the control valve of GX-1 type used widely in domestic power plants now, as small-medium lifts. If the relative lift (h/D) is less than 20%, the valve can always work steadily in all the pressure ratios. When the h/D is between 20% to 24%, big vibration of valve stem occurs if the pressure ratio is between 0.7 to 0.8. When h/D is more than 25%, relatively great vibration happens in a wide range of pressure ratios of 0.4 to 0.85.

Objective To study the pregnant outcome of those women who were over 41 gesta tional weeks. Methods A retrospective study, including 2903 normal nulliparous women who had delivered between July 1,2002, and December 31,2004, was conducted. Totally, 461 cases of prolonged pregnancies were included. The rates of cesarean delivery, fetal distress, and neonatal asphyxia were compared between those over 41 weeks and the others. Results The rates of cesarean delivery (48. 81%) and fetal distress (43. 38%) in prolonged pregnant group were significantly increased than those of the others women(P

Objective To investigate the application of orthogonal design to optimize real-time quantitative PCR conditions and perform it for ICAM-1.Methods After model of a skin injury was established in rats, total RNA was isolated from the injured skin tissue and reverse transcriptase reactions were carried out.Using orthogonal design real-time quantitative PCR conditions, the expression level of ICAM-1 gene was studied by use of cDNA as template. The standard of score was set up to amplification and dissociation curves and statistical analysis was done based on the optimized conditions. Results Through 25 tests the best real-time quantitative PCR conditions for ICAM-1 are anneal temperature at 61 ℃,0.4?g of cDNA and concentration of 150?mol/L each primer in the final reaction. There are no interaction among above factors. Conclusion Orthogonal design is a feasible, quick and economical method to optimize real-time quantitative PCR conditions.
