1.Study on the constitution theory ofPang Anshi inShanghan-Zongbing Lun

There were a lot of general researches and applications about constitution in Shanghan-Zongbing Lun ofPang Anshi. It is found that the constitution idea ofPang Anshi originated from Huangdi-Neijing. His constitution idea included that: the constitution formation was related to living environment and diet; the constitution factors should be considered in the clinical practice; the constitution factors should be considered when applicating Yang-preserving in spring and summer, Yin-preserving in autumn and winter; the constitution factors should be considered in the process of the choice of dosage, the method of decoction and the principle of medication. Pang Anshi constitution idea is of great important guidance for the later medical practice.
2.Clinical characteristics of retinal degeneration with retinal holes and the therapeutic effect of argon laser therapy

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of retinal degeneration (RD) with retinal holes and the therapeutic effect of argon laser therapy. Methods The data of argon laser therapy in 210 RD patients (224 eyes) with retinal holes who underwent the treatment in our department were retrospectively analyzed, which was compared with the data of argon laser therapy in 173 RD patients (198 eyes) without retinal holes. Results In RD patients with retinal holes, 89.7% of the patients were less than 60 years old (53.3% males and 46.7% females). Grid-like degeneration was found in 65.6% of the patients in whom 87.5% had the range of degeneration less than 1 quardrant. There were oval-shaped holes in 60.7% of the patients and accompanied with limited rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (LRRD) in 23.7%. Compared with RD patients without retinal holes, the ratio of patients with the age of≥35 years, cystic degeneration, retinal lengthways small plica, and subjective symptoms was higher in RD patients with retinal holes; while the therapeutic effect of argon laser therapy on patients with LRRD was obviously less than whom without retinal holes (P

4.Three kinds of periodontal stabilization splints in severe periodontitis of the mandibular anterior teeth:which one is preferred?

BACKGROUND:It is believed that the splintage can promote periodontal tissue repair and improve the prognosis of loose teeth. However, the force of the splint is associated with the rigidity of the splint and adaptation between the teeth and the splint.
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of the nylon composite resin periodontal splint, the
fiber-reinforced composite periodontal splint and the bracket periodontal splint on the treatment of severe periodontitis of the mandibular anterior teeth.
METHODS:Seventy-two patients with severe periodontitis of the mandibular anterior teeth were randomized into 3 groups, with 24 cases in each group: nylon composite resin periodontal splint, fiber-reinforced composite
periodontal splint and bracket periodontal splint groups. The clinical effects of the three kinds of periodontal splints and periodontal indexes were compared at 1, 6 and 12 months after splinting.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The clinical effects in the group of the fiber-reinforced composite periodontal
splint were significantly better than those in the other two groups at 1, 6, 12 months, which were 100%, 100% and 95.8%, respectively. The plaque index, bleeding index, and pocket depth were worse in the group of the nylon
composite resin periodontal splint than the other two groups (P < 0.05). Results suggest that the fiber-reinforced composite periodontal splint is preferred to preserve the loosened teeth with severe periodontitis.
5.Experience of proximal femoral nail anti rotation intramedullary nail (PFNA)in the treatment of intertro-chanteric osteoporotic fracture in elderly patients

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of proximal femoral nail anti rotation intramedullary nail (PFNA)in the treatment of intertrochanteric osteoporotic fractures in elderly patients.Methods 42 cases of femoral intertrochanteric fracture were treated with proximal femoral nail anti rotation intramedullary nail (PFNA)in cases (AO type,A1 type 13 cases,A2 type 24 cases,type A3 5 cases).Results The group of 42 patients after 12 -36 months of follow -up,the average follow -up time of 18 months,all the patients were healed,1 case of deep venous thrombosis,1 case of mild coxa vara.According to the Harris evaluation standard:excellent 32 cases,good in 9 cases,fair in 1 case,the excellent rate was 97.6%.Conclusion The proximal femoral nail anti rotation (PFNA) anti tensile,anti sliding and anti rotation function is good,and has the advantages of simple operation,small trauma,for osteoporotic intertrochanteric fracture patients can be applied.
6.DNA vaccination encoding variable region gene of the T cell receptor induces regulatory immune response in BALB/C mice

Objective:To investigate regulatory immune response induced by DNA vaccination encoding T cell receptor V?5.2 or V?2.1 chain predominantly displayed on ovalbumin (OVA)-specific T cell clone.Methods:BALB/C mice were vaccinated with pcDNA3.1 encoding T cell receptor (TCR) V?5.2 or V?2.1 chain respectively.Using RT-PCR,transcription of the recombined plasmids was analysed. Cell proliferation was measured by 3H-TdR incorporation.CTL response was assayed by JAM test.Immuno-fluorescent assay was used to examine the anti-TCR antibody level and the number V?2 +T cells.Results:RT-PCR analysis showed that the recombined plasmids can be transcripted in vivo and in vitro.DNA vaccine with TCR variable chain effectively induced TCR-specific humoral and cellular immune response,V?2 +T cells was not depleted by V?2.1 TCR-DNA vaccination,but rather was anergy.Conclusion:Regulatory immune response can be induced by DNA vaccination encoding TCR V? or V? region in normal mice.

Objective:To study the health equity and explore the influencing factors of health inequities among those insured in New Rural Cooperative Medical System and to provide theoretical and factual basis for improvement of medical insurance system through .Method:Using concentration index decomposition to explore the sources of inequity in health outcomes and the degree of horizontal inequity in health outcomes .Results:Economical level leads that the concentration indexes of two week prevalence favor the poor , i.e.the worse the health outcome of the rich is.Economical level leads that the concentration indexes of chronic disease prevalence and self -reported health defective rate favor the rich , i.e.the worse the health outcome of the poor is .Conclusion:Economic level is the primary factors affecting two weeks prevalence , age, culture level, the employment situation is the factors al-leviate health outcomes unfair .Increase people′s economic level and cultural level , improve the situation of em-ployment is important to the health equity .
8.STUDY ON DIETARY LIPID INTAKES IN CHINESE RESIDENTS

Objective: To study the amount of fat, cholesterol and fatty acid intake in China and provide the basic material for dietary guidance. Methods: Two areas were selected both in North and South China and each area included 3 provinces, or municipality or autonomous region. Three representative survey sites were selected in each province, or municipality or autonomous region. Dietary survey was conducted by the method of weighing and recording and cooking method was also recorded. The amount of food consumption was calculated as standard person (adult male, light physical activity). All foods were gathered as 12 kinds of foods, and each kind of food was cooked and then mixed. The content of fat and fatty acid was analyzed for 8 kinds of foods and the content of cholesterol was analyzed for 4 kinds of foods. The intake of fat, fatty acid and cholesterol per capita was calculated. Results: The amount of fat intake among North I, North II, South I, South II was 70.5 g, 46.5 g, 58.7 g, 71.0 g respectively and the amount of cholesterol intake was 329.6 mg, 128.5 mg, 400.9 mg, 306.0 mg respectively. The main source of dietary fat was from meat and vegetables. Egg was the main source of dietary cholesterol and meat and egg were both the main source of dietary cholesterol in south II area. About 90% of saturated fatty acid was palmitic acid and stearic acid and 90% of monounsaturated fatty acid was oleic acid. Linoleic acid was the principal n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid and linolenic acid was the principal n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid. The ratio of S∶M∶P in North I was 1∶1.1∶1, in North II was 1∶1.6∶1.3, in South I was 1∶1.6∶1.3 and in South II was 1∶1.5∶1. Conclusion: The amount of fat intake and fatty acid profile was quite different among different areas and the dietary guidance should be more pertinent The current cholesterol intake was more than dietary guidance in most areas. In addition to egg, meat was also an important source of cholesterol.

Star-shaped block polymers have recently attracted considerable attention owing to their unique properties and applicability in nanomedicine development.Compare to linear polymer and hyper-branched polymers,star-shaped block polymers have more advantages due to the unique structure.Star-shaped block polymer has become a desirable molecular biomaterial for delivery therapeutics and diagnostic agent to the diseased cells.This paper reviews the research about star-shaped block polymers and nanomedicine development in using them as drug and gene delivery carriers.
10.Stress analysis of magnetic attachment in mandibular complete overdenture supported by nature roots and implants

Objective To analyze the stress state of magnetic attachment in mandibular complete overdenture supported by nature roots and implant, and to provide neference for designing of clinical prosthodentics. Methods Three-dimensional finite models (model,Ⅱ,Ⅲ)of three groups of mandibular overdentures depending on the different location of the implant and natural tooth root, placing three pairs of magnetic attachment, were constructed by application of CT scanning,computer photo processing system,and Solidworks finite element model building software.The natural teeth and implant neck bone stress of the models in three groups under different stress were calculated and compared.Results The stress of the bone around the implant in the area of molar teeth in model with both sides of the implants under oblique load (Model Ⅱ)was significantly increased compared with the model with one side of the implant (Model Ⅲ). The supporting bone stress of oblique load was increased compared with the vertical load;among them under the oblique load at one side’ s molar teeth, the stress of the bone around the implant in the area of molar teeth in modelⅠ,modelⅡ and model Ⅲ was increased about 30%, 43%,and 55%.Conclusion When there only one nature teeth remain,two implants should be at least added, one in the area of opposite cuspid, and the other in the area of molar teeth of the same side. The magnetic attachment is better than other kinds of attachment in preventing the damage of abutment when it suffers inclined load.
