China Pharmacy 2001;0(08):-
OBEJECTIVE:To establish a rapid and exclusive method for the identification of metronidazole tablets.METHODS:The infrared spectrophotometry was adopted,in which the recrystallization was carried out with the dehydrated alcohol as the solvent and with the highly pure potassium bromide tabletting as the infrared absorption spectrum.RESULTS:The infrared absorption spectrum of the metronidazole tablets was completely in conformity with that of the control substance and the standard spectrum of metronidazole issued in Infrared Spectrum Album of Drugs by State Pharmacopoeia Committee.CONCLUSION:This method is specific, fast and accurate, which can be used for the identification of metronidazole prepa-rations.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(5):276-277
The 52-year-old female patient complained of persistent and progressive obstruction in left nasal cavity for more than 1 years. A grey, hard and smooth tumor with telangiectasia, were seen plugged in left post-nostrils and nasopharynx. CT scanning showed a tumor in the left nasal cavity. Post-operational pathologic diagnosis was peripheral nerve sheath tumors of nasal cavity.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(34):6110-6115
BACKGROUND:The biopsy material induced by foreign body is autologous tissue, which, in theory, avoids the role of immune rejection and destruction faced by non-autologous implants. This biology advantage has no way to comparison by synthetic and de-cel ular materials.
OBJECTIVE:To explore a biotube consisting of autologous cel s and extracel ular matrix and to evaluate its structure and mechanical features.
METHODS:The biotubes were prepared by embedding silicon rods as a mold intraperitoneal y. Specimens were analyzed by mechanical tests, histological observation and superficial study.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:It was easy to excite the biotubes prepared by embedding silicon tube
intraperitoneal y. The biotube mainly included col agen-rich extracel ular matrices and myofibroblasts appearing as elongated cel s with circumferential or longitudinal orientations. At 1 month of embedding, the wal was 70-250μm in thickness and had burst strength of (1 100±187) mm Hg (1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa), with perfect sewability. The biotubes, which possess the ability for wide adjustments in their shapes, are composed of autologous cel s and extracel ular matrices, and are an ideal graft for tissue engineering because they avoid immunological rejection and have sufficient mechanical strength.

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 1998;0(01):-
Objective To analyze the descending trend of maternal mortality ratio (MMR) and its related influencing factors in order to improve the descending speed of MMR. Methods The influencial factor analysis and u test were made on data collected from 232 rural counties of eight provinces in China. Results MMR had shown remarkable reduction from 1995 to 2000, a drop by 51.33%. However, there was still a gap if compared with the ratio of the whole country. Major causes influencing the descending speed of MMR include the high speed of economic development, more expenditure of health, quality of maternal service, such as the ratio of hospital delivery, cleaning delivery, prenatal and postnatal health care. Conclusion In order to accelerate the descending speed of MMR, attempts to increase the improvement speed of maternal health care, quality of maternal service and more expenditure of health should be made.

Objective To observe the effects of Dengzhan Shengmai capsule on β-amyloid protein (Aβ) deposition in the brain and learning and memory function in renovascular hypertensive rats (RHRSP).Methods Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups (5 rats per group):normal group, shamoperated group, hypertension with Dengzhan Shengmai capsule treatment group and hypertension with normal saline (NS) treatment group.Renovascular hypertensive models were created by clipping two-kidney.Dengzhan Shengmai capsules were dissolved in sterile 0.9% NS and were administered (20 mg · kg-1 per day) by daily gavage for 4 weeks. In the NS group, hypertensive rats were given saline in the same volume.Immunofluorescent labeling and western blot were used to detect the expression of Aβ,NF-κB,IL-1β,TNF-α in the brain, respectively.Learning and memory function were detected by Morris water maze. Results RHRSP significantly increased Aβ deposition in the cerebral cortex and impaired memory function in rats.Dengzhan Shengmai capsule treatment significantly lowered the blood pressure compared with NS treatment((157.45±11.58) mmHgvs (197.76±10.12) mmHg).In addition, the levels of Aβ,NF-κB p65,IL-1β,TNF-α protein were significantly reduced,by Dengzhan Shengmai caspule treatment. The escape latency was shortened((24.64±4.57) s vs (37.17±3.87)s),while the frequency of passing through the platform quadrant(5.39±0.12 vs 3.05±0.28) and the dwell time((27.34±3.67) s vs (16.83±5.76)s) (all P<0.01) in the platform quadrant were significantly increased by Dengzhan Shengmai capsule treatment. Conclusions Dengzhan Shengmai capsule may reduce Aβ deposition in brain and improve learning and memory function by anti-inflammatory effects in RHRSP.

Journal of Medical Biomechanics 2011;26(2):181-188
Objective:It is demostrated that the porous protein-mineral mechanics model could provide more accurate prediction for biomaterial properties of dentine compared with the other established models. This paper would use the model to reevaluate the mechanical properties and its interacting mechanism of human dentine.Method:By using a porous proteinmineral mechanics model, the effect from the interactions between tubules, pedtubular and intertubular matrix on dentine microstructure was discussed. Results:The dentinal micromechanical properties were dependent on the tubular direction, and the absolute values of the stresses derived from the hydraulic and gas tubular pressures increased parabolically with theincreasing diameter of the tubules. It was also found that the effective elastic constants of the dentine microstructure would vary with the aging and the distribution of mineral and collagen within peritubular and intertubular matrix of detine. Conclusions:The theoretical analyses provided in this paper demonstrated that the microstructural characteristics of tubules, peritubular and intertubular dentinal matdx could have different influences on the micromechanical properties of human dentine, which showed the validity of porous protein-mineral mechanics model, and the limitation of some models that neglected the interacting mechanism.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(7):443-446
Objective To evaluate the value of high resolution MR imaging (MRI) with diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) in the preoperative diagnosis of rectal cancer. Methods 55 patients with rectal cancer may underwent high resolution MRI examinations before surgical operation, and with DWI (b=600, 1000 s/mm2). The apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) of the tumors were measured. The image findings were compared with pathology. Select 15 patients without rectal lesion, ADC value of the tumors and normal rectal wall were measured. Results High resolution MRI diagnosis rectal cancer sensitivity, specific degree and coincidence rate were 95.7% (45/47), 50.0% (4/8), 89.1% (49/55), high resolution MRI with DWI diagnosis colorectal cancer sensitivity, specific degree and coincidence rate were 100.0 % (47/47), 75.0 % (6/8), 96.4 % (53/55). The high resolution MRI tumor T-staging agreed with the histological stage that was 88.9% (40/45), the diagnosis of T2 stage was 87.5 % (14/16), the diagnosis of T3 stage was 89.6 % (26/29). The same b-valued under the ADC values of rectal cancer tumors and the normal rectal were different (P <0.05). No correlation can be pointed out between ADC and pathological classification of each tumor. Conclusion High resolution MRI with DWI for the rectal cancer preoperative diagnosis and T-staging has higher diagnostic accuracy, DWI can serve as an important supplement sequence of colorectal cancer diagnosis.
