OBJECTIVE: To establish the quality standard for Baiban paste. METHODS: The two component -Fructus Psoralen and Flos Carthami in Baiban paste were identified by TLC. The contents of Psoralen and Isopsoralen in Baiban paste were determined by HPLC. RESULTS: The TLC spots of both Fructus Psoralen and Flos Carthami were clear with good resolution and free of interference of negative samples. The linear ranges of Psoralen and Isopsorale wre 13.44～67.20 ng and 12.00～60.00 ng, respectively. The average recoveries were 98.86%(RSD=1.09%, n=6) and 98.84%(RSD=1.29%, n=6), respectively. CONCLUSION: The established standard is applicable for the quality control of Baiban paste.

Objective To estimate the anatomic variation of the right inferior phrenic artery(RIPA)with multi-detector tomography(MDCT)scans.Methods 45 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and 46 healthy subjects were examined by contrast-enhanced CT scan(CTA)at 16-section CT scanner.Then the images were reconstructed with MPR,VR and MIP.Results RIPA were detected by CTA in all cases(sensitivity was 100%).The origin of RIPAs directly from the aorta in 42%,celiac trunk in 37%,right renal artery in 15%,left gastric artery in 3% and proper hepatic artery in 2%.For the reconstructive images quality,MPR and MIP were better than VR,but in showing the origin of RIPAs,MPR and VR were better than MIP.In compared with normal group,the diameters of RIPAs in tumor group were larger.Conclusion MDCT estimates well for the anatomy of RIPAs,which is significant for planning and embolization of extrahepatic RIPA supply in HCC.

Objective:To investigate the influence of Bifidobacterium adolescence on the expression of HIF-1?and VEGF in rabbit VX2 tumor.Methods:Rabbit VX2 tumor models were established and were divided into two groups(n= 10).Animals in the experimental group were injected with Bifidobacterium adolescence and those in the control group received normal saline via ear vein.Animals were sacrificed and the liver,kidney,spleen,heart,lung and tumor tissues were removed,cultured and Gram stained.The changes of tumor tissue were observed by H-E staining;immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of HIF-1?and VEGF in tumor tissues.Results:Bifidobacterium adolescence could target the tumor tissue.H-E staining showed the necrotic area was obviously enlarged after treatment with Bifidobacterium. OBJECTIVE: To identify Pogostemon cablin and Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis in Huoxiang zhengqi pills by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry. METHODS:Pogostemon cablin and Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis in Huoxiang zhengqi pills were extracted by ultrasound extraction technology and identified on SPB-1701 column(30 m?0.25 mm?0.25 ?m) with He as carrier gas and EI as ion source at an electron energy of 70 eV. RESULT:The main components such as Patchouli alcohol from Pogostemon cablin,and Magnolol and Honokiol from Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis were identified simultaneouly. CONCLUSION: The method is simple,rapid,accurate and reliable,and applicable for the quality control of Huoxiang zhengqi pills.

Objective To non-invasive assess coronary blood flow velocity changes of patients with slow coronary flow phenomenon (SCFP) by coronary blood flow imaging (CFI).MethodsTwenty-one patients who had no significant coronary artery stenosis but had thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) slow-flow phenomenon were the experimental group,nine patients who has no significant coronary stenosis and TIMI flow normal were the control group.Using corrected TIMI frame count(CTFC) assess velocity of coronary artery.The left ventricular end diastolic diameter,end systolic diameter,ejection fraction,E peak velocity,A peak velocity,E/A ratio were measured by conventional echocardiography.The distal anterior descending coronary artery diastolic peak flow velocity(Vmax),mean velocity(Vmean) and blood flow velocity time integral(VTI) were measured by CFI.Results The corrected TIMI frame count (CTFC) of left anterior descending artery blood flow in slow blood group was (45.37 ± 8.62)frame,that in control group was (15.94± 4.66)frame,the difference was statistically significant (t = -9.596,P =0.000).The conventional echocardiographic measurements of two groups were not significantly different.The left anterior descending artery Vmax was (22.86 ± 3.04)cm/s,Vmean was (17.62 ± 2.89)cm/s,VTIwas (8.49± 2.01)cm in the slow blood flow group,the left anterior descending artery Vmax was (31.78 ± 9.28) cm/s,Vmean was (23.67 ± 7.60) cm/s,VTI was (10.91 ± 4.47) cm in the control group.The difference was statistically significant.The left anterior descending artery CTFC with Vmax and Vmean was negative correlation in the control group and the slow blood flow group.The left anterior descending artery CTFC was negatively correlated with VTI in the control group,there was no correlation between left anterior descending artery CTFC and VTI in the slow blood flow group.Conclusions Coronary artery flow velocity in the left anterior descending artery was declined.CFI can reflect changes in coronary TIMI flow,but in the diagnosis of coronary slow flow phenomenon CFI has limitations.

Objective To detect the atherosclerotic progression in low density lipoprotein receptor (LDL-R) gene knock-out mouse by ultrasound biomicroscopy(UBM) technique,and to monitor the intima media thickness (IMT) and changes in plague of aortic wall.Methods 10 male LDL-R gene knock-out mice of 16 weeks age and 10 LDL-R gene knock-out mice of 24 weeks age were in the experimental group,and 10 male C57BL/6 mice of 16 and 24 weeks age were in the control group.The shapes of their aortic roots,ascending aorta,aortic arch and CCA were detected by UBM,and the IMT at aortic root view and carotid artery bifurcation were measured,then the data were compared with histopathology of the corresponding vascular segments.Results The difference between the IMT of aortic root and carotid artery bifurcation of the 16 week old LDL-R mice and the control group of the same age had no statistical significance.The difference between the IMT of carotid artery bifurcation of the 24-week-old LDL R mice and the control group of the same age had no statistical significance.The IMT of aortic root thickened compared with control group of the same age(P ＜0.01).Conclusions The UBM technique can be used to detect the atherosclerotic progression in LDL-R gene knock-out mouse.

Objective To explore the relationship among absolute income,big five personality and life satisfaction,and the mediating effect of relative income.Methods 5927 citizens from different cities were assessed by NEO five-factor inventory (NEO-FFI) and satisfaction with life scale (SWLS).Results (1) The mean score of life satisfaction was 19.61 ± 5.99.Female scored higher than male,and there were statistically significant differences between them (19.98 ± 5.92 vs 19.14 ± 5.95,t =-5.08,P ＜ 0.01).(2) The absolute income,extraversion and conscientiousness had a significant main effect on life satisfaction (β =0.13 ～ 0.19,P ＜ 0.01),neuroticism,openness and agreeableness had a significant main negative effect on life satisfaction (β =-0.04--0.15,P＜0.01).(3)The relative income had a significant main effect on life satisfaction (β =0.35,P ＜0.01).(4)Relative income had a mediating effect on the relation between absolute income,neuroticism,extraversion,agreeableness,conscientiousness and life satisfaction (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Relative income has a mediating effect on the relation between absolute income,personality and life satisfaction.

Objective To optimize the processing technology of Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae prepared with salt. Methods With the amount of the oleanolic acid as the parameter,the processing technology was optimized through orthogonal exper iments design L9(34). Results The optimal processing technology of Radix Achyran this Bidentatae prepared with salt was:the thickness of the medicinal pieces be ing 5～10 mm,baking 20 min with 3.00 %salt at 100 ℃. Conclusion The chosen pr ocessing technology is reasonable.

Objective To explore the effect of empathy and forgiveness on urban residents' life satisfaction.Methods Interpersonal Reactivity Index(IRI),Trait Forgivingness Scale(TFS) and the Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS) were administrated to 3537 participants living in several provinces in China.Results ①The variable of perspective-taking had significant main effect on both forgiveness and life satisfaction(β=0.409,P ＜0.01 ; β=0.145,P ＜0.01),and particularly personal distress had significant negative effect on both forgiveness and life satisfaction (β=-0.291,P ＜ 0.01 ; β=-0.181,P ＜ 0.01)②Forgiveneas had significant main effect on life satisfaction(β=0.142,P＜0.01).③The relationship between perspective-taking and life satisfaction was partially mediated by forgiveness(P＜0.01).The relationship between personal distress and life satisfaction was also partially mediated by forgiveness (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Perspective-taking and personal distress has different predicting effect on life satisfaction,and forgiveness plays an important mediating role in the relationship between them.

Aim To observe the neuroprotective effect of platelet activating factor receptor antagonist Kadsurenone on rat brain with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.Methods Animal model was established through middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).we studied the changes of infarct volume,NAA and Lactate in Kadsurenone-treated group with DWI and()~1H-MRS examination after cerebral ischemia 60 min and reperfusion 1,3,6 h.Results Significant reductions in infarct volume were found in the Kadsurenone-treated group as well as in the Ginkgolides-treated group compared with the control group.And Kadsurenone decreased the concentration of lactate and prevented the decline of the concentration of NAA after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.Conclusion As platelet-activating factor receptor antagonists,both Kadsurenone and Ginkgolides show remarkable neuroprotective effect.And MRI offers exact neuroimaging information for studying the neuroprotective meachnism of Chinese traditional medicine after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.
