OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of gemcitabine combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy on angiogen-esis and cell invasion ability of cervical cancer. METHODS:Totally 37 patients undergoing radical operation selected from Chongq-ing Kaizhou District People's Hospital during Jan. 2015-Jun. 2016 were divided into observation group(n=19)and control group (n=18). Control group was given 3-D conformal radiation and chemotherapy which included Cisplatin injection 70 mg/m2,ivgtt+Fluorouracil injection 600 mg/m2,ivgtt on 1st and 21st day after radiotherapy. Observation group was additionally given Gemcitabi-ne hydrochloride for injection 800 mg/m2,ivgtt,1st and 8th day after radiotherapy. A treatment course lasted for 28 d. The radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy were conducted after 2 courses of treatment. Clinical efficacy,microvessel density (MVD) of tumor,vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),Wnt1,Wnt3a,Wnt8 and β-catenin level were observed in 2 groups. The relationship of MVD with VEGF was analyzed,and the occurrence of ADR was recorded. RESULTS:The total re-sponse rate of observation group(84.2%)was significantly higher than control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). The levels of MVD,VEGF,Wnt1,Wnt3a,Wnt8 and β-catenin in 2 groups were significantly higher than healthy tissue;above index-es of focus tissue in observation group were significantly lower than control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). MVD was positively correlated with VEGF. There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups (31.6% vs. 27.8%,P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Gemcitabine combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy can regulate the angiogenesis of cervical cancer cell and the activity of Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway,and reduce the invasion ability of cervical cancer cell,which may be the important mechanism of anti-tumor effect with good safety.

Objective To discuss the similarities and differences of clinical manifestation and pathological characteristics in hepatitis B virus related membranous nephropathy (HBV-MN) between children and adult. Methods Ninety cases with HBV-MN were divided into two groups according to the age:children group (33 cases) and adult group (57 cases). A retrospective control study was carried out to analyze the clinical and pathological features of the two groups. Results The incidence of anemia in children group was 45.45% ( 15/33 ), which was significantly higher than that in adult group [15.79% (9/57)](P ＜ 0.01). Nephrotic syndrome was the largest proportion in two groups,but there was no significant difference in the composition of clinical manifestations between two groups (P ＞0.05). Membranous nephropathy Ⅱ was common in pathological stage in two groups. The incidence of membranous nephropathy Ⅱ in children group was 63.64% (21/33),which was significantly higher than that in adult group [42.11%(24/57)] (P ＜ 0.05 );immunohistochemistry showed "all bright", and the deposition of HBcAg in renal biopsy was also higher than that in adult group (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion There are some similarities and differences in HBV-MN between children and adult patients,and these will help to improve the levels of diagnosis and treatment.

Objective.To probe into the influence of Jiannao Anshen Capsule of Miao medicine on the behavioral performance,content of cytokine interleukin-1 (IL-1),neuroendocrine hormone melatonin (MT) and monoamine neurotransmitter 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) of rats with sleep deprival.Methods All of the 60 rats were evenly and randomly divided into 5 groups:the normal control group,model control group,estazolam group,Zaoren Anshen group,and Jiannao Anshen of Miao medicine group,respectively.Every group had 12 rats.Sleep deprivation rat model was established by intraperitoneal injection of para-chlorophenyla lanice (PCPA).After successful modeling,the rats were intragastrically administrated with corresponding medicines.The contents of serum 5-HT,IL-1 and MT and the contents of 5-HT,MT in brain tissue were determined.Results Behavioral score,the contents of 5-HT,MT and IL-1 in serum and the contents of 5-HT,MT in brain tissue in insomnia rats caused by PCPA were significantly decreased as compared with normal control group (P ＜ 0.05).In the Jiannao Anshen group,estazolam group and Zaoren Anshen group,the behavioral score,the content of 5-HT,MT and IL-1 in serum and the content of 5-HT and MT in brain tissue of insomnia rats were significantly increased as compared with model control group (P ＜ 0.05).The behavioral score,the content of 5-HT,MT and IL-1 in serum and the content of 5-HT and MT in brain tissue of insomnia rats were not statistically significant different among Jiannao Anshen group,estazolam group and Zaoren Anshen group (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Jiannao Anshen capsule of Miao medicine could obviously improve the sleep quality of rats with sleep deprival.The mechanism may be related to improving the content of IL-1,MT and 5-HT.

The research findings published by National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project have continued to change the clinical practice of early-stage breast cancer over the past decade.Sentinel lymph node biopsy has become the new surgical operation standard.The aromatase inhibitor adjuvant endocrine therapy cycle has been extended from 5 years to 10 years, which benefits the patients with high risk and reactivity.Chemotherapy combined with trastuzumab has become the standard adjuvant therapy strategy of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2-positive invasive breast cancer.In addition, the research progress is also related to the optimization of the fields including the postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy and neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

AIM: To investigate the changes of current and gene expression of acetylcholine sensitive K~+ channel (K_ ACh ) in chronic human atrial fibrillation (AF) and to evaluate the roles of K_ ACh expression in the occurring and maintenance of AF. METHODS: Acetylcholine sensitive K~+ currents (I_ KACh ) were recorded with the whole-cell patch clamp technique in single atrial myocyte of AF group and normal sinus rhythm group (SR group). The current densities-voltage relations were analyzed. The Kir3.4 mRNA was measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: (1) Compared with SR group, acetylcholine sensitive K~+ current densities in AF group were reduced under testing potential between -80 mV and -120 mV . Objective To compare the differences of salivary alpha(α) amylase (sAA) activity and its activity ratio from the sali‐va before and after citric acid stimulation and approach the correlations among sAA activity determined by the methods of iodine‐starch ,Bernfeld and EPS‐G7 velocity respectively .Methods Ten saliva samples were collected from five healthy volunteers before and after citric acid stimulation .Their activities were determined three times by the three methods ,and the variation coefficient (CV) of sAA activity and activity ratio were calculated .Moreover ,correlation among sAA activities determined by the three meth‐ods were analyzed .Results The significant differences (P< 0 .05) were found in sAA activity and total CV from three determined methods ,and sAA activity and total CV by the method of EPS‐G7 velocity were minimum .There were no significant differences (P> 0 .05) in sAA activities ratio and its CV ;Significant correlation was found between sAA activity determined by random two of three methods(P < 0 .05) ,and their correlation coefficients were above 0 .96 .Conclusion The sAA activity data determined by three methods could be transformed each other by regression equation ,and determined precision by the method of EPS‐G7 velocity is highest ,and data processing method of sAA activity ratio could decrease differences among CV from three methods .

BACKGROUND:Children with learning difficulty often present with cognitive impairments and imbalanced development of intelligence accompanied by emotional and behavioral problems.OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the therapeutic effects of integrated interventions in multiple aspects for children with learning difficulties.DESIGN:A case-control study of children with learning difficulties.SETTING:Department of Pediatric Internal Medicine, Union Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University.PARTICIPANTS:This study involved school-age children of 6 to 12years old with learning difficulties who came to the department specialized in pediatric psychology for consultation from July 1998 to July 2001. The diagnosis of learning difficulties conformed to the diagnostic criteria for special learning disability in ICD-10 with IQ ＞ 70 as an essential condition. Children with emotional disorders, mental deficiency, hyperactivity,visual and auditory dysfunctions and organic cerebral diseases were excluded. The diagnosis was further verified by a professor specialized in neuropsychology. The children voluntarily participated in the cognitive training, behavioral intervention and comprehensive trainings of senses and those who fulfilled the one-year treatment were included in this study. The ratio of therapists to the children was 1:2, and each session of treatment lasted for 90-120 minutes given 2-3 times a week, and a treatment course consisted of 24 sessions. The children were supposed to complete 4 consecutive treatment courses. Totally 31 children completed the treatment courses, including 24 boys and 7 girls with the mean age of(7.7±1.2)years who had an average IQ of 87.5±8.6.grated interventions for one year consisting of cognitive training, behavioral intervention and comprehensive training of the senses. Raven's Deductive Reasoning test and Beery Visual-Motor Integration Test were use to examine the deductive reasoning ability and visual-motor integration of the children, and visual attention test and auditory attention test, as well as sequential and reverse-sequence memory tests were employed to test their attentions. Achenbach children behavioral scale was applied to evaluate the children's behavioral problems, and Conners' questionnaire for children's behavioral problem was used to measure their attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) index.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Changes in the deductive reasoning ability, capability of visual-motor integration, attention and psychological behaviors after one year of intervention.RESULTS:All the 31 patients children entered the result analysis with no loss. After one year of integrated intervention, the children had significantly improved scores for Raven's Deductive Reasoning Test (87.51 ±8.64 vs 90.03±8.70, t=-9.610, P ＜ 0.001) and Beery Visual-Motor Integration Test (6.75±1.74 vs 8.27±1.94, t=-9.002, P ＜ 0.001). Obvious improvement was also seen in the visual attention test (15.90±20.11 vs 2.74±3.67), scope of auditory attention and memory (7.70±1.60 vs 11.23±1.23for sequential memory and 3.52±0.93 vs 6.97±0.16 for reversed-sequence memory, P ＜ 0.01). The total scores for ADHD assessment declined to different extents at 3 and 6 months during the treatment and upon the completion of the treatment (22.65±3.53 vs 18.87±4.14 at month 3, 5.65±3.92at month 6 and 12.65±3.36 at one year, t=7.35-15.36, P ＜ 0.01). The scores for 9 psychobehavioral items in Achenbach children behavioral scale obviously declined were also reduced significantly during the therapy,and 87% (26/31) of the children had obviously improved academic performance.CONCLUSION:Interventions integrating cognitive training, behavioral intervention and comprehensive training of the senses may produce good and persistent effect on the cognitive and emotional symptoms of children with learning difficulties, resulting in obviously improved visual, auditory and brain functions.

Objective To study the effects of the HBV x gene (HBx) on the biological characteristics and the expression of DNA repair enzyme hMTH1 mRNA of the L02/HBx transgene cell model. Methods Light microscopy was used to observe the morphologic characteristics of gene-transfected cell strain Lff2/HBx that stably expressed the HBx protein and the control groups of L02 and L02/PcDNA3.1. The changes of L02/HBx on the proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis were observed by MTT assays and flow cytometry analysis respectively. Moreover, the malignant transformation of L02/HBxwas assayed by colony formation in soft agar and the expression of DNA repair enzyme hMTH1 mRNA was assayed in each group by real-time qPCR. Results Inversion phase contrast microscope showed that the morphologic characteristics of L02/HBx had changed obviously compared with control groups. The MTT showed that L02/HBx proliferated more quickly and flow cytometry analysis indicated that HBx could accelerate the progression of cell cycle and inhibit apoptosis. Colony formation in soft agar demonstrated that the rate of colony formation of L02/HBx was remarkably higher than the L02 and the L02/peDNA3. 1 cells (P<0. 05). The real-time qPCR detection showed that the expression of hMTH1 mRNA in L02/HBx was significantly higher than that in the control groups ( P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion HBx could play an important role in the malignant transformation of L02/HBx and the over expression of hMTH1 mRNA.

Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of psychological nursing on patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) combined with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods 96 patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) combined with OSAHS from January 2009 to July 2012 were admitted.They were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group with 48 cases in each group.All patients were given routine drug therapy,based on this,the control group received routine care,and the experimental group was given routine care and psychological nursing.The anxiety and depression score and the treatment effect were compared between the two groups.Results After eight-week treatment,in the experimental group,the scores of SAS,SDS declined obviously and the levels of blood pressure were significantly decreased compared with those in the control group.The difference was statistically significant.Conclusions Psychological nursing for patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension(PIH) combined with OSAHS played a positive role in nursing of these patients,it can remit their anxiety and depression emotion and also can significantly decrease the patients'blood pressure.

Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of nursing intervention on patients who were suffering from pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome combined with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS). Methods From April 2010 to December 2011,58 patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension combined with OSAHS were selected.They were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group with 29 cases in each group.The control group received routine care and drug treatment,based upon this,the experimental group received pertinent nursing of OSAHS.The treatment effect was compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group. Conclusions Pertinent nursing of OSAHS for patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension combined with OSAHS played a positive role in nursing of these patients,it can significantly decrease the blood pressure of patients.
