Foreign students’management is the issue for Chinese universities to explore constantly.How to provide the channel for foreign students to know China,to know Chinese universities,to answer their questions are the responsibilities of Foreign Students Management Office of universities.This paper analyses the result of Chinese-Foreign Students Joint Management Model which has been running for one year in Chongqing Medical University to provide some highlights on foreign students’ management in universities of China.

This article conducted a study on the foreign postgraduate students in Chongqing Medical University from the development scope,resources of students,major distribution,finical supporting from the year of 2006 to 2012.Based on the former analysis,it is found that students are of poor quality.There are very less Chinese learning channels.It is very urgent to optimize enrollment and improve the quality of students.There should be multi-channel expansion of Chinese learning and training refined Chinese expert.

Objective To investigate the protection of renal function and the prevention of acute renal failure (ARF) in patients with malignant obstructive jaundice in perioperative period of radical resection. Methods A series of clinical interventions had been taken since 2004 in our treatment team, including control of endotoxemia, depression of biliary tract before operation, maintenance of adequate effective blood volume, nutritive support, administration of mannitol and low dose of furosemide, and avoidance of disseminated intravascular coagulation. The incidence of perioperative ARF in 206 patients with malignant obstructive jaundice who had been radically resected from 2000 to 2007 was retrospectively studied, and the RIFLE criteria was used for ARF classification. This study was progressed in two periods. The first one was from Jan. 2000 to Dec. 2003, and the second one was from Jan. 2004 to Dec. 2007. Objective To investigate the high resolution CT (HRCT) findings of pleura invasion of lung adenocarcinoma (stageⅠ) presenting as mixture ground glass nodule (mGGN).Methods 20 cases of lung adenocarcinoma presenting as mGGN were confirmed by pathology.The correlation of those cases with pleural adjacent relation and the relation between the maximum diameter and pleural invasion were analyzed retrospectively.Results (1)The classification of mGGN adjacent to the pleura relationship:type Ⅰ,typical and atypical pleural retraction sign,10 cases of this type did not show pleural invasion;type Ⅱa,the mGGN contacted pleural for ground glass opacity,4 cases of this type showed no pleural invasion;type Ⅱb,the mGGN contacted pleural for solid elements,6 cases of this type were with pleural invasion.(2)The difference of the maximum diameter of mGGN in groups pleural invasion and non-invasion was not significant statistically (P=0.694).Conclusion The mGGN contacted pleural for solid composition is a reliable sign in diagnosis of pleural invasion.

Objective To define a suitable and adequate sample volume for the detection of bacterial contamination in cord blood (CB) via BacT/ALERT system. Methods A total of 1 376 cord blood units were routinely screened for aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms by culturing the erythrocyte fraction(EF) or plasma fraction(PF) with 20 ml and 10 ml sample volume. The microbial contamination was detected by BacT/ALERT 3D system, and the results of this method were compared with the improved Martin/thiogly collate broth(22 ℃) and thioglycollate broth(35 ℃).Results The rates of positive BacT/ALERT results were 1.16%(10 ml) and 1.24%(20 ml) for PF, and 3.20%(20 ml) for EF. The positive rate of Martin/thiogly collate broth(22 ℃/35 ℃) was 1.00% for EF. Conclusion Using BacT/ALERT system for microbial detection in cord blood bank can enhance the security of umbilical cord blood transplantation.

Objective To analyze reasons for the generation of unqualified blood specimens in coagulation test in tumor patients and to develop countermeasures ,so as to ensure the quality of samples prior to analysis .Methods Blood specimens received from outpatients in Tumor Hospital of Yunnan Province in 2012(40 253 specimens) ,2013(46 756 specimens) and first quarter of 2014 (14 566 specimens)were retrospectively analysed .Unqualified rate was used to describe situation of unqualified specimens ,and the distribution and changes of unqualified specimens were compared among the three years .Results The unqualified rate of blood specimens in coagulation test in 2012 and 2013 was 0 .57% and 0 .96% ,respectively .Reasons for unqualified blood specimens in 2012 was ,in order ,specimens agglutination ,insufficient amount of specimen ,excessive amount of specimen ,wrong container ,no specimen .Reasons for unqualified blood specimens in 2013 was ,in order ,specimens agglutination ,insufficient amount of specimen , excessive amount of specimen ,bar code error ,contaminated specimen ,wrong container ,no specimen ,hematocrit≥55% ,repeated in‐spection .Conclusion Coagulation test requires high quality specimen and quality assurance prior to analysis is particularly impor‐tant .The clinical laboratories should strengthen the links between the nursing and clinical departments ,timely communicate and feedback situation of unqualified specimens ,find the cause together and develop and implement effective improvement measures ,in order to ensure the quality of specimens on the steps before analysis .

Objective: To determine the efficacy of 4 cervical ripening and labor induction methods in women at term. Methods:Two hundred and ten women who had clinical indications for labor induction were randomly allocated into 5 groups: mife-pristone(A) ,Diluoan(B) ,oxytocin(C), misoprostol(D)and control(E)groups. Results: The cervical Bishop score in group Awas increased to 3.39-+0.87 and higher than those in other groups(P＜0.05). The success rates of labor induction andvaginal delivery in mifepristone combined with misoprostol or oxytocin were significantly higher than those in other groups(P ＜0.05). Conclusion: Mifepristone is an effective inductive agent for cervical ripening, misoprostol and oxytocin werestrong uterine contract revulsivum. Mifepristone combined with misoprostol or oxytocin was considered as the best way of la-bor induction in term pregnancy.

Objective To investigate the influence of self-management and education on behaviors of medical compliance of patients undergoing vitrectomy combined with tamponade.Methods Sixty-four patients undergoing vitrectomy combined with tamponade were randomized equally into the control group and observation group in the order of admission.The control group received routine care and health education,while the observation group received self-management education follow-ups besides the routine nursing.The two groups were compared in terms of the cumulative time of the correct position,compliance behavior and the incidence of postoperative complications.Results The cumulative time of the correct position of observation group was longer than that of the control group after operation.The observation group did better in compliance behavior than the control group and the incidence of postoperative complications in the former group was lower than the latter(P<0.05).Conclusion Self-management and education can enhance patients’behaviors in medical compliance and decrease postoperative complications and promote the success of the surgery.

Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of the gram positive bacteria isolates from hospital in Chongqing during 2006-2011 .Methods Non-repetitive gram positive bacterias were collected retrospectively from ten hospitals in Chongqing .Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of all clinical isolates were carried out using Kirby-Bauer(KB) .Results 14 473 strains were isolated .There were 4 840 strains of Staphylococcus aureus (33 .4% ) ,2 566 strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis (17 .7% ) ,1 822 strains of Staphylococcus haemolyticus (12 .6% ) ,1 325 strains of Enterococcus (E .faecalis/E .faecium )(9 .2% ) . Staphylococcus was highly sensitive to nitrofurantoin ,rifampicin ,piperacillin/tazobactam ,linezolid ,teicoplanin and vancomycin ,but their resistance rate to ampicillin/sulbactam ,oxacillin ,penicillin and clarithromycin was high .The resistance rate of E .faecium to the majority of antimicrobial agents was obviously higher than that of E .faecalis ,excluding imipenem ,chloramphenicol and tetracy-cline .Vancomycin and linezolid still remain the strongest antibacterial activity to Enterococcus .Conclusion The distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in Chongqing present regional particularity ,and antibiotic resistance is severe .It is significant to strengthen the epidemiology study of pathogenic bacteria and to develop policies to intervene in the use of antimicrobial agents .

Objective To analyze the clinical and CT characteristics of pancreatic metastasis to improve the correct diagnosis rate.Methods The clinical and CT data of 14 patients with pancreatic metastasis were reviewed retrospectively.Results Among the 14 patients,the primary malignancy was lung cancer in 6 cases,renal carcinoma in 3 cases,colon carcinoma in 2 cases,laryngeal cancer in 1 case,gastric cancer in 1 case and ovarian carcinoma in 1 case.Pancreatic metastases from renal carcinomas often developed a long period after initial nephrectomy and survived for a relatively long time.Abdominal CT plain scan and enhanced scan was performed in all cases.Four cases were of solitary type,9 cases were of multiple types and 1 was of diffuse type.Totally 28 lesions were found,which were usually located in the neck and body of the pancreas,the diameter of 28 pancreatic lesions was ranging from 0.5 cm to 11 cm,with a mean diameter of 2.3 cm.On CT plain scan,there were 19 hypodense lesions,7 slightly hyperdense lesions and 2 isodense lesions,5 necrotic lesions.On enhanced CT,the lesions showed moderate enhancement in 7 cases,circular enhancement in 6 cases,moderate and circular enhancement in 6 lesions,obvious enhancement in 8 lesions and no enhancement in 1 lesion.All patients had extra-pancreatic metastases,and 2 cases had peripheral vascular invasion.Conclusions Pancreatic metastases are rare,often accompanied with multiple lesions and extra-pancreatic metastases.The CT features of pancreatic metastases from renal carcinomas are slightly hyperdense and obvious enhancement; in other metastases,there are hypodense,morderate and/or circular enhancement lesions.Accurate diagnosis can be achieved by knowledge of patients' medical history.
