Objective To observe the effects of misoprostol on prevention of postpartum hemorrhage.Methods 200 cases of full-term pregnancy intravaginal labor were randomly divided into misoprostol groups (n=100) and control groups (n=100).The misoprostol groups were treated with misoprostol 400 μg PO after labor and control groups were treated with oxytocin 20 U IV after labor.Results The average time interval of the third stage was (6.10±3.35) min in misoprostol groups,whereas (10.00±3.45) min in controls.There was significant difference between two groups (P＜0.01).The average quantity of blood loss in 2 h after labor was (150.30±34.00) ml in misoprostol groups,whereas (240.60±57.30) ml in controls.Conclusion Better effects of misoprostol than oxytocin were proved on preventing postpartum hemorrhage.

Objective To improve recognition of the processus articularis arthropathy.Methods CT findings of the processus articularis arthropathy was analysed.Results According to the CT findings of the 94 cases processus articularis arthropathy,CT signs and the syndrome of this disease were summarized five types:①zygapophyseal hypertrophy and osteophyte formation;②stricture or asymmetry of articular space ;③vacuum phenomenon of articular space ;④pachynsis or calcification of articular capsule ;⑤articular instability.Conclusion The processus articularis arthropathy is a very high incidence of a disease.The CT scanning is very important significance to the disease.

Objective To discuss the diagnostic value of the lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration by CT scanning.Methods The clinical representation and CT view of 809 cases with degenerative lumbar intervertebral disc were retrospectively analyzed.Results According to the different CT representation character,the degenerative lumbar intervertebral disc may be divided into the lumbar intervertebral disc denaturation bulge in 96 cases and the lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in 713 cases.Conclusion CT scanning is a value method to diagnosing degenerative lumbar intervertebral disc.

0.05).The grade of antibiotics tended to decline with the increase in of dressing change freqnency so it could decrease the expenditure of antibiotics.The rate of fungal infection lowered while hospitalization did not appear to be prolonged.CONCLUSIONS After the analysis of the use of antibacterials for burn patients,we find that the proper use of antibiotics and the increase in dressing change would lower the grade of antibiotics and expenditure,at the same time they do not increase the rate of bacterial infection and fungal infection,and do not prolong the duration of patients hospitalization time.

Objective To study the value of common X-ray and CT scanning in the spinal bursting fracture (abridged English:BF).Methods By the frontal,lateral X-ray film and CT scanning,the imaging manifestations of BF in 43 cases were analysed,contrasted,summarised and classified .Results Among the BF 43 cases,the classifications were type A(10 cases),type B(15 cases),type C(2 cases),type D(9 cases) and type E(7 cases).The three-post injure had 34 cases,the two-post injure had 9 cases,the spinal canal narrowing:0?was 8 cases,1?was 12 cases,2? was 23 cases;the rear spinal edges discontinuation was 35 cases.Conclusion The diagnostic value of X-ray film to BF is reflecting the bones injured change of spinal fracture type,flexion and damaged rear edge.The CT scanning advantage is showing the fracture lines trend,relative scope,degree of spinal canal deformation and narrow,infering the pressed situation and injured spinal cord.The two methods combine and confirm each other in order to help clinical diagnosis the right treating.

BACKGROUND:Adipose-derived stem cel s are totipotent stem cel s in the adipose tissue, and have the function of self-renewal and multi-directional differentiation. Human adipose-derived stem cel s are ideal seed cel s with stable genetic milieu and few rejections.
OBJECTIVE:To extract human adipose-derived stem cel s from human omental adipose tissue and to identify the cel s by adipogenic and osteogenic induction.
METHODS:Omental adipose tissues were col ected from surgical patients to isolate and culture adipose-derived stem cel s using type I col agenase digestion, filtration and centrifugation. Cel growth was observed and proliferative curve of human adipose-derived stem cel s were drawn by cel counting method to calculate the doubling time at logarithmic growth phase. After adipogenic and osteogenic induction, induced cel s were identified using oil red O and alizarin red staining, respectively.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Human adipose-derived stem cel s were successful y isolated from the omentum tissues of surgical patients. Adherent cel s were fusiform-shaped and like fibroblasts. The growth curve of passage 3 cel s was in S shape, and the doubling time was 45.90 hours. After adipogenic and osteogenic induction for 2 and 3 hours, respectively, oil red O staining showed unequal-sized orange fat droplets, and alizarin red staining showed typical calcified nodules that were in orange. These findings indicate that adipose-derived stem cel s have the adipogenic and osteogenic capacity.

AIM: To optimize the extraction and purification of water-soluble active ingredient of Ferula sinkiangensis.METHODS: First,the comprehensive scoring system was set up to reflect the change of the extraction rate and ferulic acid coutent.in combination with the uniform design.RESULTS: The optimized extracting process was as follows: adding 8 times water and extracting twice,every time lasting 2.5 h.The optimized centrifugation purificating process consisted of: concentration ratio (1 ∶ 3),35 minutes centrifugal time,4 000 r/min rotation speed.The optimized ZTC1 + l-Ⅱ clarificant purification process was as follows: concentration ratio was 1 ∶ 22,the content of pacificator was 22% ,purification time was 1 h.CONCLUSION: The optimized extraction is available,reasonable,and reproducible.The results of pharmacodynamic test show that centrifugation is suitable to the purification of extract liquid.

Objective To discuss the application value of MSCT in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.Methods 30 patients with appendicitis were enrolled as a research group,meanwhile 30 healthy adults without any diseases were as a control group.Some MSCT findings were observed or measured including diameter and position of appendix,fluid and gas density in appendix cavity, periappendicural fat density and peritoneal thickening,ascites and so on.Results The outside diameter of acute appendicitis appen-dix was (9.78±2.33)mm on average,whereas the diameter of normal adults appendix was (5.05±0.53)mm,exhibiting a signifi-cant difference (t=24.85,P <0.01).Rough periappendicural fat with increased density in 25 patients (83.33%)with the CT value of about -40 to 20 HU,exudation and peritoneal thickening around the appendix in 13 (43.33%),thickening and edematous appen-dix walls in 29 (96.67%),fecal stone in the appendix cavity with high density in 9(30.00%),the appendicitis in combination with intestinal obstruction in 1 (3.33%),and the appendicitis with peritoneal thickening in 80.00% and with peritoneal effusion in 23.33%were found in the study.Conclusion Full abdominal MSCT can help to the diagnosis of acute appendicitis,and some MSCT findings can be useful for the diagnosis including the appendix diameter≥6 mm,appendix cavity effusion,lumen stone,peripheral increased adipose density and peritoneal effusion.

Objective To investigate whether prostaglandin E2(PGE2) can promote the ability of adhesion.migration and invasion of colorectal cancer cells SW480 and its mechanism.Methods Extrinsic source PGE2 and the antagonist of EP1 SC19220 were added to the culture media. MTr assay was used to identify the adhesion ability of SW480 cells. Migration ability was tested by transwell plate.The invasion ability was tested bv ECM gel coated transweU plate. RT-PCR and western blotting were used to detect the mRNA and protein level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Results The adhesion.invasion and migration ratio of SW480 ceils were all increased significantly after treated with PGEh the A values of adhesion ceils increased from 0.207±0.009 to 0.417±0.088. Migration cells increased from 6.33±0.33 to 43.33±0.88.invasion cells increased from 3.67±0.34 to 26.33±0.89(P＜0.05).The adhesion.migration and invasion cells of PGE2+SC 19220 group decreased significantly compared to PGE2 group.The A values of adhesion cells decreased from 0.417±0.088 to 0.140±0.006. Migration cells decreased from 43.33±0.88 to 28.00±0.58.invasion cells decreased from 26.33±0.89 to 5.67±0.33 (P＜0.05).The results of RT-PCR and western blotting showed that the expression of VEGF mRNA and protein increased in a dose dependent manner after PGE2 treatment. Conclusion The ability of adhesion. Migration and invasion of SW480increased after PGE2 was added to the culture media.It may be related to the upregulation of VEGF.
