Objectives To observe the effect of Jianpi-Huayu decoction for preventing the patients from the recurrence of colonic adenoma after endoscopic mucosal resection. Methods A total of 60 patients with colonic adenoma who received endoscopic mucosal resection were divided randomly into the experimental group (taking Jianpi-Huayu decoction) and the controlled group (taking nothing as treatment), 30 patients in each group. Both groups were treated for 1 year. After 1 year, colonscopy was taken, and the number and size of colonic adenoma were recorded. The expression of COX-2, Ki67 in the colonic mucosa were detected the immunohistochemistry, and the negative rate of COX-2, Ki67 were also detected. Results After the treatment, the number (0.20 ± 0.48 vs. 1.67 ± 1.54, t=4.980) and size (0.23 ± 0.57 vs. 2.73 ± 2.80, t=4.788) of colonic adenoma in the experimental group were statistically lower than those in the ontrolled group (P<0.01);the expression of COX-2 (1.96 ± 1.27 vs. 3.64 ± 1.95, t=3.673) and Ki67 (2.04 ± 1.46 vs. 4.50 ± 1.73, t=5.558) in the the experimental group were statistically lower than those in the ontrolled group (P<0.01). The number of the paitents whose COX-2, Ki67 negative rates in the experimental group were 21 and 22, and the control group were 12(P=0.004) and 14 (P<0.001), which showed the significant difference between two groups. Conclusions The Jianpi-Huayu decoction could reduce recurrence of colonic adenoma after endoscopic mucosal resection, the mechanism was decreasing the expression of COX-2, Ki67 in colonic mucosa.

Competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs) transcripts can communicate with microRNAs (miRNAs) through competitively binding the common miRNA response elements (MREs),which remove or decrease the repression of target genes of miRNAs.The present studies indicate that a large amount of genes,serving as ceRNAs,can promote or inhibit the occurrence of liver cancer by competing the binding site of same genes that can promote or suppress tumorigenesis.

Objective To investigate the effect of opiate receptor antagonist naloxone on the electroencephalographic (EEG) power spectrum in morphine-addicted rats.Methods 20 male adult Wistar rats were alternately injected with morphine (Mf, 10 mg/kg,sc.;Mf withdrawal (Mf-Wd) group, n=10) or saline (Sal, 1 ml/kg, sc.;Sal-Wd group, n=10) for 8 days to establish Mf physical dependent model.Withdrawal scores were evaluated by naloxone-precipitated withdrawl signs (5 mg/kg,ip.).Another 20 rats were divided into Sal-CPP group and Mf-CPP group with 10 rats in each group.Rats in the sal-CPP group were injected with saline once a day for 8 days while rats in the Mf-CPP group were injected with saline and morphine alternatively once a day for 8 days.The EEG signals were recorded from their dorsal hippocampi before and after naloxone injection under anesthesia;and the EEG power data (1 ～ 100 Hz) were analyzed.Results (1) Compared with Sal-Wd group (22.69± 3.59), the Mf-Wd group showed a higher withdrawal scores after naloxone injection(84.90± 13.40, P＜0.01).(2) The CPP scores of Mf-CPP rats (80.69± 14.96) were significantly higher than the baseline (45.29± 15.79) and the Sal-CPP rats (41.84± 12.47;all P＜0.01).(3)After naloxone injection,the EEG powers of δ band and γ band of Mf-CPP rats decreased temporarily c ompared with their baseline (δ band: (81.80±30.91) mV2 · Hz vs (112.49±39.43) mV2 · Hz;γ band:(25.35±11.20)mV2 · Hzvs (28.71±13.06)mV2 · Hz;allP＜0.05).Conclusion Opiate receptor antagonist naloxone can decrease the hippocampal EEG powers of δ band and γband in Mf-addicted rats.

Male breast cancer (MBC)is one of rare malignant carcinomas,of which the pathogenesis and biological characteristics remain elusive.Recently,it has been reported that breast cancer susceptibility gene (BRCA)1 ,BRCA2,checkpoint kinase 2 (CHEK2)and partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2)play important roles in the pathogenesis of MBC.Whereas the relationship between BRCA1 -interacting protein 1 (BRIP1 )and MBC is still controversial.

Objective To investigate the Reprimo and hMLH1 gene promoter methylation detection value in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer.Methods Chose patints in Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital from September 2013 to April 2014,50 cases of patients with chronic atrophicgastritis with intestinal metaplasia,50 cases of patients with gastricmucosal atypical hyperplasia,50 patients with gastric cancer,endoscopic gastric biopsy samples,and 30 cases of normal gastric mucosa biopsy tissues as control group.Analysis abnormal expression in Reprimo gene and hMLH1 genes promoter methylation,compared the differences.between groups of patients.Results The patients with gastric mucosatissues Reprimo and hMLH1 genes promoter methylation positive rate was significantly higher than that of normal group,the difference wasstatistically signifi-cant (P<0.05).Reprimo gene promoter methylation were:patients with chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia 28% (χ2 =10.18,P < 0.05).Patients with gastric mucosalatypical hyperplasia 56% (χ2 = 25.84,P < 0.05)and patients with gastric cancer 62% (χ2 = 30.36,P < 0.05).hMLH1 gene promoter methylation were:patients with chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia 20% (χ2 =4.39,P <0.05),patients with gastric mucosal atypical hyperplasia 44% (χ2 =15.13,P <0.05)and patients with gastric cancer 48% (χ2 = 17.41,P <0.05),high specificity of detection.Conclusion Reprimo and hMLH1 gene’s detect value in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer is very high,high specificity,it is an effec-tive way of diagnosis,treatment in clinical diagnosis of patients with broad prospects.

Objective To investigate the relationship between nutcracker syndrome (NCS) and glomerular disease of patients with hematuria and/or proteinuria. Methods To analysis clinical and pathological data of 39 patients with NCS complicated glomerular nephritis. Ultrasonic examination, 24h urinary protein quantization, urine routine, urinary sediment examination and urinary protein electrophoresis were used in all patients .Among them,30 patients accepted renal biopsy. Results Among the 39 patients, hematuria and/or proteinuria were aggravated in most of them after exercise. Multiformity was manifested by renal biopsy. Definite diagnosis can be made through clinical, laboratory examination and renal biopsy. Conclusions NCS could coexist with glomerular disease. NCS patients with hematuria and/or proteinuria should be carried out renal biopsy when needed whether coexisted with glomerular nephritis or not.

Objective To investigate the coping mode and quality of life of patients with malignant glioma during chemotherapy.Methods European organization for research and treatment of cancer quality of life,Core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30) and medical coping modes questionnaire(MC-MQ)were used for the survey among 45 patients with malignant glioma during chemotherapy.Results The scores on patients' emotion function and role function were(7.80±2.52)and(16.26±5.35),both at a low level.The avoidance factor in copy mode was scored(16.26±5.35),significantly lower than the norm(14.44±2.97)(P<0.05). Conclusion Nurses should make pertinent measures for intervention,encouraging patients to take right cope mode and keeping positive attitude so as to improve their quality of life.
