Based on the findings of the past five decades, the seasonal regularity of respiratory disease was summed leading to respiratory tract diseases were summed up.

This study was aimed to quickly and accurately identify different origins and categories of commodity edible bird’s nest (EBN) using DNA barcoding technique, in order to reveal its genetic differences. The total genomic DNA was isolated from the EBN samples. And Cytb gene sequences were amplified and sequenced by PCR. Then, 32 sequences were aligned and analyzed with DNAStar and MEGA 6.0 software. NJ phylogenetic tree was constructed. The nearest distance was calculated. The results showed that the original species of 32 samples of EBN were identified.Aerodramus fuciphagus was the genetic origin of 23 white nest samples. AndAerodramus fuciphagus germaniwas the genetic origin of the other 8 samples. The origin of black nest sample wasAerodramus maximusorAerodramus maximus lowi. It was concluded that the genetic origin of different EBN categories was variant. The identification of EBN’s origin species with Cytb sequence was quick and accurate.

Objective To establish a method for the determination of berberine and salvianolic acid B in Fuyankang En- ema.Methods The chromatograhie separation was performed on a Kromasil C_(18) column (250 mm?4.6 mm,5?m) with a gradient elution of acetonitrile-0.04 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution containing 0.1% phosphoric acid.The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and column temperature was set at 30℃.The detection wavelength was 230 nm.Results There was a good linearity in the range of 0.0924～2.3100?g (r=0.999 9) for berbeine,and 0.1000～2.5000?g (r=0.999 9) for salvianolic acid B.The average recoveries of berberine at high,middle and low concentra- tions were 100.40 %,99.51% and 99.15 % respectively with RSD being 0.59 %,0.67 %and 1.02 % (n=3) re- spectively.The average recoveries for salvianolic acid B were 101.52 %,99.32 % and 98.68 % respectively with RSD being 0.60 %,0.92 % and 1.00 % (n=3),respectively.Conclusions This method is convenient,specific and re- producible for the determination of berbeine and salvianolic acid B in Fuyankang Enema by HPLC.

Objective: To study the technological parameters of the enrichment purification process of Baohe Pills with macroporous resin. Methods: With the enriched degree of hesperidin of Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae of Baohe Pills as a marker, the optimum technological parameters of the enrichment process were studied. Results: The optimum process is that 5mL of the extract of BaoHe Pills (500mg/mL) was adsorbed for 30min with a column of macroporous resin (R15mm?H100mm) and the resin was washed with 100mL of distilled water, then the hesperidin was eluted from the macroporous resin with 100mL of 50% ethanol. Conclusion: The elutive rate of hesperidin was above 95% by means of the macroporous resin. So this process enriching the active components of Baohe Pills is feasible.

Objective To study the influences of polysacch arides(PS)from Radix Codonopsis on immune function and hematopoiesis in mice.Methods Several experiments have been condu cted for detecting delayed type hypersensitivity(DTH),hemolysin antibody concentration,endogenous spleen colony,3 H-TdRpermeate nuleated cells in bon e marrow.Results By oral administration,PS from Radix Codonopsis can promote the humoral immunity and PS at a small dosage en-hance the cellular immunity.PS from Radix Codonopsis can also elevate the hemoglobin cont ent of the hemolysis -induced blood -deficiency mice and increase the formation of endogenous spleen c olony,but has less effect on DNA synt hesis in the bone marrowof blood -deficiency mic e caused by 60 Co -?ray.Conclusion PS from Radix Codonopsis can enhance the im-mune function and improve the compen satory hematopoiesis of spleen and t heir mechanisms need to be further studied.

Genetically modified tool animal models are the animal models,which are generated by modifying a defined gene and can be used as a tool to help realize other objective.Genetically modified large animals have wide applications in agriculture and biomedicine.Tool animal models play important role in biological research and development of new drugs in biomedicine,especially,have made tremendous contribution in revealing gene function and pathway of signal transduction.Pigs are not only an economically important agriculture animals,but also an ideal animal model in biomedicine due to its close similarity to human in physiology,as well as organ structure and size.Thanks to the breakthrough of newly emerged gene editing technology,striking progress has made in establishment of genetically modified tool pig models which include the ones used for monitoring pluripotency of cells,tracing cell lineages,replacing genes mediated by Cre recombinase,mimicking immunodeficiency,as well as gene editing in vivo.These tool models have been widely applied in biological research.Here,we will review the progress in generation of genetically modified tool pig models and their applications.
