This study was aimed to quickly and accurately identify different origins and categories of commodity edible bird’s nest (EBN) using DNA barcoding technique, in order to reveal its genetic differences. The total genomic DNA was isolated from the EBN samples. And Cytb gene sequences were amplified and sequenced by PCR. Then, 32 sequences were aligned and analyzed with DNAStar and MEGA 6.0 software. NJ phylogenetic tree was constructed. The nearest distance was calculated. The results showed that the original species of 32 samples of EBN were identified.Aerodramus fuciphagus was the genetic origin of 23 white nest samples. AndAerodramus fuciphagus germaniwas the genetic origin of the other 8 samples. The origin of black nest sample wasAerodramus maximusorAerodramus maximus lowi. It was concluded that the genetic origin of different EBN categories was variant. The identification of EBN’s origin species with Cytb sequence was quick and accurate.

Guangdong province assumes the task of pilot exploration and demonstration for building the preventive health service system of Chinese medicine. In the pilot process of preventive treatment of disease, a health pro-ject of Chinese medicine, sectoral agreements and policy studies are focusing issues. This paper explores the pre-ventive health service system building of Chinese medicine in G uangdong province , from following aspects such as access policy of service agencies, access policy of professional service staff, evaluation mechanism and verify sys-tem, the revision of existing medical subjects of medical institutions, health insurance policies and compensation policies, price policies, proactive technology policies and fiscal policies, incentive policies for the introduction of private capital .

AIM: To establish a quantitative method of determining thymol and carvacrol in Shushi Ganmao Ling(dripping pill)(Herba Moslae,Herba Artemisiae Annuae,Radix Scutellariae,etc.). METHODS: The GC method was used with HP-17 quartz capillary column(HP 50% PhMe Silicone,10 m?0.25 mm?0.25 ?m).The initial temperature of chromatographic column was at 130 ℃ for 14 min, then elevated to 220 ℃ with the rate of 20 ℃/min,and retention for 36 min. RESULTS: The linearities of thymol and carvacrol were respective in the range of 12.51 ?g/mL-125.1 ?g/mL(r=0.999 8) and 21.52 ?g/mL~215.2 ?g/mL(r=0.999 7).The average recoveries were 97.9%(RSD was 1.69%) and 100.6%(RSD was 2.27%).RSD of repeatability were 1.88% and 1.60%,respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is reliable, accurate and specific. It can be used for quality control of Shushi Ganmao Ling(dripping Pill).

Objective To compare the influence of different extraction technology on the pharmacodynamic actions of drug pair of Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Radix Paeoniae Alba. Methods The influences of water extraction, alcohol extraction, and SFE-CO2 extraction on pharmacodynamic actions of drug pair of Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Radix Paeoniae Alba were evaluated by mice intestine propulsive motility test, rats repelling acute gastric mucosa damage test, mice twisting test and hot-plate test. Results The paired drugs extracted by SFE-CO2 combining with water extraction or alcohol extraction had better pharmacological actions. Conclusion This study provides a scientific basis for optimizing the extraction technology of drug pair of Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Radix Paeoniae Alba.

Objective To optimize the soaking treatment method for increasing the germination of Amomum villosum Lour.(AVL) seeds. Methods Nine groups were set up: the control group(without soaking treatment),treatment group 1(soaking AVL seeds with naphthylacetic acid 15 mg/mL for 8 hours),treatment group 2(soaking with gibberellin 100 mg/L for 30 hours) and treatment groups 3~8(soaking with clean water for 8,20,30,40,45 and 50 hours respectively). The sowing amount was 100 grains in each group for each time, and the seeds were planted in the outdoor pot at a planting space of 4cm?4cm.Results Naphthylacetic acid had an obvious inhibition on the germination of AVL seeds and delayed the shooting.Gibberellin promoted the germination and shooting of the seeds.Soaking with clean water for 8 hours had no obvious effect on the seed germination, but soaking for 20~50 hours increased the seed germination to various degrees,in particular soaking for 30~50 hours. Conclusion Soaking with gibberellin or clean water can increase the germination of AVL seeds. This method is simple and practical and economic, and is worth of extensively applying in the sowing and breeding of AVL seeds.

Object To study the volatile constituents in the TCM preparation "Pao Chai Pill" made in Yangcheng (Guangzhou) (YPCP) in comparison with that made in Hongkong (HPCP) to gain some insight for the renewal of YPCP to a new dosage form Methods The volatile constituents were extracted with the aid of ultrasonic wave in organic solvent, and identified by GC-MS and elucidated on the standard MS data Their relative contents in percentage were calculated by area normalization Results 24 and 20 volatile constituents were identified in YPCP and HPCP respectively Conclusion YPCP showed more rich in sesquiterpene lactones but less sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpene alcohols than HPCP

Objective To evaluate the pharmacokinetic parameters and bioavailability of puerarin in Yufeng Ningxin tablets in mice by determining dose-time curve and by comparing with the pharmacokinetics of puerarin injection. Methods NIH mice were randomized into different groups. 6 %HClO4 was used to precipitate plasma protein and the plasma concentration of puerarin in mice was determined by HPLC.The PK solutions 2.0 program,a non-compartmental model software, was applied to calculate the pharmacokinetic parameters and bioavailability. Results The main pharmacokinetic parameters of puerarin injection by i.v.in mice were:t1/2=98.359 min,CL=35.548 mL?min-1,AUC(0-∞)=281.3 ?g?min?mL-1;the main pharmacokinetic parameters of puerarin in Yufeng Ningxin tablets by o.p.were:t1/2 =35.562 min,CL=898.685 mL?min-1,Cmax=9.3 ?g?mL-1,Tmax=30 min,AUC(0-∞)=222.5 ?g?min?mL-1 ,F(bioavailability value)=3.95 %comparing to puerarin injection. Conclusion As compared with puerarin injection, the absorptive content of puerarin in Yufeng Ningxin tablets is very poor and the bioavailability is also low, indicating that enhancement of bioavailability of Yufeng Ningxin tablets will be beneficial to the clinical application.
