1.EFFECT OF FIELD APPLICATION OF MOSQUITO NETS IMPREGNATED WITH FENDONA IN PROGRAM OF ANTI-VECTOR AND MALARIA CONTROL
Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 1989;0(01):-
Field application of mosquito nets impregnated with Fendona (alphamethrin) was con-ducted in Jiangpu,Liuhe and Yizheng counties (city) during 1992 in order to control malaria and mosquito vector. Three groups were set for control,i.e. ,using mosquito nets impregnat-ed with deltamethrin, DDT spraying, and a group without preventive measures. The result showed that density of mosquito vector declined significantly after using of mosquito nets im-pregnated with Fendona. Mosquito density declined by 71. 58% ,the long-term efficiency last-ed more than 4 months, and local malaria incidence declined by 72. 73%. The effect of this measure was similar with that of using mosquito nets impregnated with deltamethrin, and was much better than that of DDT spraying. Since Fendona is a cheap, odourless, and effec-tive insecticide it is worthwhile to be recommended in malaria control program in the field.
2.Realization of the theory of construction doctrine in Health Information Technology teachingtaking the project teaching method in application in electron special field as example
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(5):573-576
Under the high pressure of employment, traditional teaching method that is based on inculcating the knowledge to students does not adjust current condition any more. So, we start to looking for a new, more suitable way of teaching.--Project Based-on Learning, and have analyzed the advantages in health information technology teaching by construction doctrine in combination with the concept and principle in wedlock construction. At the same time we introduce project Based-on Learning in concrete application to find a way to put the theory into practice.
3.Correlation between serum adiponectin, C reactive protein and homocysteine in acute cerebral infarction
Journal of Chinese Physician 2011;(z1):39-41
Objective To investigate the correlation between adiponectin, CRP and homocysteine (Hcy) and evaluate its mechanism in acute cerebral infarction. Methods Serum adiponectin, hs-CRP,Hcy, blood lipid, FPG and blood pressure were measured in eighty patients with acute cerebral infarction ( cerebral infarction group) and eighty healthy persons ( control group). Results In cerebral infarction group, serum hs-CRP, Hcy, TG , and systolic pressure were significantly higher than in control group ( P <0. 05) , while serum adiponectin were significantly lower than in control group ( P <0. 05). Serum adiponectin levels were negatively correlated with Hcy( r = -0. 453) , hs-CRP ( r = -0. 397) ,TG( r = -0. 321) , FPG( r = -0. 318) and systolic pressure ( r = -0. 288). Conclusion There is correlation between adiponectin, Hcy, hs-CRP, glucose and lipid metabolism and blood pressure, which plays a role in occurrenc and development of acute cerebral infarction.
4.Chitosan gel (Ⅲ) reduces the complications from Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy for treatment of severe mixed hemorrhoids
Modern Clinical Nursing 2014;(4):20-22,23
Objective To explore the effect of Chitosan gel (Ⅲ) on the complications from Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy for treatment of severe mixed hemorrhoids. Methods Seventy-six patients with severe mixed hemorrhoids were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 38 cases in each group. All patients from the two groups were treated with Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy. Then Chitosan gel (Ⅲ) was used in the treatment group. The two groups were compared in terms of curative effect, pain level, complications and hospital stay. Results There was no significant difference in the curative effect (P>0.05). But the scores on pain level, hemtochezia, infection and edema of the treatment group were all significantly lower than those of the control group (allP<0.05) and the hospital stay was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions In the treatment of severe mixed hemorrhoids by Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy, Chitosan gel (Ⅲ) is effective in relieving pains, reducing hemorrhage, edema and preventing infections and therefore shortens the hospital stay. In view of nursing, it is critical to perform mental care as well as close observations on complications.
5.Correlation between Mixed Venous Oxygen Saturation and Cardiac Index in Coronary Arterty Bypass Grafting Patients
The Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology 2000;16(9):437-439
Objective:Cardiac index(CI) and mixed venous oxygen saturation SvO2 were studied in 85 patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG). Methods: Measurement of CI and SvO2 was carried out with a fiberoptic ballon-tip thermodilation pulmonary artery catheter. Fentanyl-based anesthesia was applied in all patients. Hemodynamic parame-ters were obtained prior to anesthesia induction as the baseline, after endotracheal intubation, after stemotomy, after weaning of cardiopulmonary bypass, at 6 and 24h after operation. Results: CI and SvO2 increased or was not changed at all time intervals, compared with the baselines. The changes of SvO2 correlated well with those of CI. Conclusion: The results suggest that continuous monitoring of SvO2 may be useful to predicting alteration in CI in patients undergoing CABG.
6.Induction of human tumor cell apoptosis by sodium artesunate and its molecular mechanism
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(09):-
Object To study the apoptosis induced by sodium artesunate (SA) in human liver cancer cells and its molecular mechanism. Methods Induction of the apoptosis was analyzed by fluorescent microscope, transmission electron micrograph and flow lytometry based on drug treated BEL-7402. Expressions of p53, p21 and bc1-2 were determined by Western blot. Results The expression level of p53 and p21 had no change remarkbly, but the expression level of bc1-2 was reduced compared to that of the control group after the human liver cancer cells were treated by SA. Conclusion The apoptosis in human liver cancer cells (BEL-7402) may be induced by SA, the molecular mechanism of apoptosis may be p53-independent, that is no relative to p53 and p21. Otherwise, it is relative to bc1-2 down-regulation.
7.Attention Span in Patients with Brain Injury
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(8):776-777
Objective To investigate the attention span in patients with brain injury. Methods Twenty-seven patients with brain injury and 34 normal adults who were matched in age and in years of education were tested with visual span and digit span to assess the attention span. The score relies on the max number that the subject can answer correctly. Results Both visual span and auditory span in the patients were significantly less than that in control group (P<0.01), but they were not significantly correlated (P>0.05).Conclusion The visual span and auditory span were impaired in different degree in patients with brain injury.
8.Evaluation and Rehabilitation of Acalculia(review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(10):922-924
Acalculia has been defined as an acquired disturbance in number processing and computational ability. Acalculia which caused by various diseases has a great effect on activity of daily living. This article presents a review of Standardized Tests of Acalculia(including EC301 calculation and number processing battery, Number Processing and Calculation battery and Johns Hopkins Dyscalculia Battery) and cognitive rehabilitation for acalculia. The main strategy for rehabilitation is to re-teach lost knowledge via extensive practice according to the evaluative results. Those are described in 5 domains: the understanding of numbers, number transcoding, arithmetical facts, complex calculation and mathematics applications.
