The interventional treatment of lung cancer is tightly related with hemodynamic situation of artery. To study hemodynamics of the interventional treatment of lung cancer can significantly improve curative effect and decrease complications.Through simulation experiment, the ratio of drug injection around the entrance of bronchial artery is obtained and the definition of natural perfusion region is given. The evidence for interventional treatment of lung cancer and the principle avoiding high-level paraplegia in clinical interventional treatment of lung cancer are also presented.

Aim To observe the effects of recombinant human endostatin(rhEndostatin) on cell cycle and the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) in fibroblast-like synoviocytes in rats with adjuvant arthritis(AA),and to explore the molecular mechanisms of the inhibitory effect of rhEndostatin on proliferation of fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS) in AA rats. Methods Adjuvant arthritis was induced by Freund′s complete adjuvant in rats.Flow cytometry was applied to measure the effects of rhEndostatin on the cell cycle in AA FLS.The effect of rhEndostatin on the expression of PCNA mRNA and protein in synovial tissue in AA rats was examined quantitatively by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR and Western blot assays, respectively. Results The percentage of cells in G1 phase in AA FLS decreased significantly(P

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2015;34(7):805-808
Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy of green tea extract (GTE) on weight control in metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods Related randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about GTE and MS were searched and identified from PubMed,Scopus,PsycINFO,EMBase, the VIP database,CNKI,and Wanfang Resource Database.Valid data were extracted according to strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. The RevMan 5.2.2 software was used to carry out the meta-analysis.Results A total of 10 trials involving 626 patients were ultimately included.Meta analysis showed that:1) compared with the placebo group, body weight (SMD=0.19,95% CI-0.34 to-0.03,Z 2.34,P=0.02) and waist circumference (SMD=-0.19,95%CI-0.36 to-0.02,Z=2.15,P=0.03) were significantly decreased in the GTE group;2) no significant difference was found between the two groups in BMI (SMD=0.14,95% CI-0.31 to 0.03,Z=1.63,P=0.10),hip circumference (SMD=0.15,95%CI-0.11 to 0.42,Z=1.12,P=0.26) or waist-to-hip ratio (WMD=-0.02,95%CI-0.05 to 0.01,Z=1.32,P=0.19).Conclusions Green tea extract can significantly reduce body weight and waist circumference in patients with metabolic syndrome.

Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of green tea extract (GTE) in improving lipid metabolism in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods All relevant published articles in Chinese and English literature database were searched to collect the randomized controlled trials comparing the efficiency and safety of GTE in patients with MS.The meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.2 software. Results Nine studies involving 566 patients were included. The results of recta-analysis showed that:GTE significantly reduced the level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (SMD =-0.33,95% CI-0.56 ~ -0.09,P=0.007)compared with placebo at the treatment endpoint. There were no statistical significance in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (SMD =0.19,95 % CI-0.04 ~ 0.43,P =0.10),total cholesterol (SMD =-0.13,95% CI-0.39 ~ 0.13,P =0.33),and triglyceride (SMD =-0.07,95% CI-0.46 ~ 0.33,P =0.74) levels between two groups. There was no significant difference in the overall rate of adverse events between two groups (OR =0.97,95 % CI 0.54 ~ 1.76,P =0.93).Conclusion GTE significantly reduces the level of LDL-C in patients with MS,and the adverse events were rare and mild.

Objective To discuss method, operative characters and curative effect of total hip arthroplasty(THA)in treatment of acetabular fractures combined with ipsilateral femoral head or neck fractures. Methods One stage THA was done in seven patients with acetabular fractures combined with ipsilateral femoral head fracture(one patient)or femoral neck fractures(six patients)7-21 days after fractures. There were five males and two females,at age range of 41-65 years(average 50 years).According to AO classification, there were one patient with type A fracture, three with type B and three with type C.Of all, five patients received biological acetabular replacement after reduction and internal fixation of acetabular fracture and two received PMMA acetabular replacement with metal enforcement ring. All patients received biological femoral stem. Results Of all,six patients were followed up for from 2 years and 3 months to 6 years and 5 months(mean 3 years and 9 months),which showed heterotopic ossitlcation in one patient and dislocation in one who recovered after manipulative reduction. The Harris score was increased from mean prooperative 48 points to mean postoperative 91 points.X-ray found no loosening of prosthesis during follow-up.Conclusions THA can improve function of hip joint significantly, avoid further operation and lessen the burden of patients mentally and economically and hence is effective in treatment of acetabular fracture combined with ipsilateral femoral head or neck fractures.

AIM: Apply the newly invented method of suppression subtractive hybridization to scan the mitochondria genes expression of hippocampus neurons in post ischemia/reperfusion rats. METHODS: Decapitate the rats suffering 10 min of whole brain ischemia and 24 h of reperfusion in Pulsinelli’s 4 vessels occlusion ischemia/reperfusion model. Dissociated hippocampus and isolated mRNA. After reversed transcription, use SSH to subtract the common sequences, then use suppressed PCR to amplify the differentially expressed sequences. After cloning and DNA sequencing, the dot hybridization was used to finally identify the differential gene expression. RESULTS: In the 78 positive clones acquired from cloning, 7 clones represent differential gene expression after confirmed by clone PCR, dot blot and DNA sequencing. The DNA sequencing data indicate these clones are ESTs of Cytochrome c oxidase subunit and NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase chain 4 gene. CONCLUSION: Cytochrome C oxidase mRNA level changs during brain ischemia /reperfusion. The differential expression of NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase chain 4, one of those 13 subunits of subcomplex ?, suggests that subcomplex ? may have important function associated with pathophysiologic changs in reperfusion injury.
