1.The Effect of Ligustrazini on I?B Kinase-? Expression in Acute Lung Injury Induced by Hemorrhagic Shock in Rabbits

Objective To investigate the significance of I?B kinase-?(IKK-?) and the protective effect of Ligustrazini(Lig) in acute lung injury(ALI) induced by hemorrhagic shock(HS) in rabbits. Methods Thirty rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: HS plus endotoxin group(n=10), Lig treatment group(n=10) and the normal group(n=10). In situ hybridization and immunohitochemistry combined with in situ quantitative analysis were used to detect the distribution and relative contents of IKK-? and NF-?B in lung tissues. The plasma concentration of tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?) was measured by ELISA. Morphological change of the lung was observed by light microscopy. Results Compared with the normal group, the expression levels of IKK-?(0.223?0.080), NF-?B(0.162?0.021), and TNF-?(809.33?201.6) were obviously increased in HS plus endotoxin group(P

3.Experimental Study on the Preventive Mechanism of Anisodamine on Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome

Objective To investigate the preventive mechanism of Anisodamine (654-2) on multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) of rabbits. Methods Rabbit model of MODS induced by hemorrhagic shock and endotoxin was used in this study. Twenty-four rabbits were randomly divided into the control group (C group) , hemorrhagic shock plus endotoxin group (M group) and 654-2 treatment group (T group). The expression of IKK-? of pulmonary alveolar macrophage (PAM) and kuffer cell(KC), the NF-?B activity of nuclear protein extracted from PAM and KC and the concentration of tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?) in the culture supernatant were measured by in situ hybridization (ISH), electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) and enzyme linked immune absorbent analysis(ELISA), respectively. Then the blood air, biochemical and pathological changes in visceral organs were examined in each groups. 4.Metabonomics Study on Root Exudates of Cd Hyperaccumulator Sedum Alfredii

A metabonomics method based on gas chromatography_mass spectrometry ( GC_MS) was developed for detecting the significant differences of root exudates of the Cd hyperaccumulator Sedum alfredii under different treatments and study the effect mechanism of S. alfredii tolerating or accumulating the heavy metal Cd. The root exudates were collected after treatment for 4 and 8 days with 0 and 40μmol/L Cd. The collected solution was lyophilized and dissolved with methanol, and after derivatization with methoxyamine hydrochloride and N_methyl_N_trifluoroacetamide, the samples were analyzed by GC_MS. Principal component analysis ( PCA) and orthogonal partial least_squares discrimination analysis ( OPLS_DA) were carried out for pattern recognition and a clear separation among the different treatments was achieved. Twelve compounds which caused the separation among the different treatments were found and identified. With the change of treatments, the relative amount of these 12 compounds revealed different trends, which indicated that the Cd hyperaccumulator S. alfredii could adjust the secretion of root exudates to tolerate or accumulate the heavy metal Cd.
5.Clinical Study of Guben Xiaoliu Capsule Combined with FOLFOX4 Regimen in Treating Advanced Colorect Cancer

Objective To observe effect of Guben Xiaoliu capsule combined with FOLFOX4 regimen in treating advanced colorect cancer patients. Methods 78 advanced colorect cancer patients were randomly assigned to treatment group (38 patients) and control group (40 patients). Oxaliplatin 85 mg/m2 iv infusion for 2 hours,d1. CF 200 mg/m2 iv infusion for 2 hours followed by 5-FU 400 mg/m2 iv infusion for 22 hours,d1-2. Every two weeks was a cycle. The control group was treated by FOLFOX4 regimen,while Guben Xiaoliu capsule was added in the treatment group. Patients were evaluated after 4 cycles. [Objective] To study the best skill of HP-?-CD containing Ezhu oil.[Method] Take Ezhu oil containting rate as appraisal index,use orthogonal testing method for technical selection.[Result] Apply water solution mix for inclusion,the gotten best technical conditions:under 60 ℃,Ezhu oil:HP-?-CD=1:30,the regulating rotating speed 600 r/min/5 h;the total score of inclusion rate and recepting rate was 90.97%.[Conclusion] The preparation technical impoves stability of Ezhu oil,with better optimization,and offering realiable theoretic foundation for industrial production.

The present study aimed to compare the clinical efficacy of a 0.4% carbomer gel and 1% carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) containing artificial tears in treatment of dry eye patients. Sixty subjects with mean age of 45.89 years who had symptoms and signs of dry eye were enrolled in this prospective, investigator-masked and stratified random sampling study. The subjects were divided into two parallel groups with 30 subjects (60 eyes) in each group. One group received carbomer gel, and the other group received 1% CMC containing artificial tears. Subjects received the drops 3 to 4 times or more per day for 3 months. At the first visit time, the precorneal residence time of these two drops was measured. The efficacy was assessed by comparing the subjective symptoms (ocular dryness, foreign body sensation, burning sensation and pain), and the objective test results of tears breakup time, Schirmer's test and corneal fluorescein staining prior to the study and after the treatment. As a result, the ocular residence time of carbomer gel was significantly longer than that of 1% CMC (P<0.001). Most of the primary subjective symptoms and objective test results were improved after treatment in both carbomer gel group and 1% CMC group. As to the improvement of each symptom and objective test result, carbomer gel was more effective than 1% CMC group (P<0.01). In conclusion, carbomer gel had longer precorneal residence time and was more effective than 1% CMC in the treatment of patients with dry eyes.
