OBJECTIVE: To investigate the perioperative application of antibacterials in our hospital.METHODS: The application of antibacterial drugs in 142 surgery patients sampled randomly from our hospital in 2006 was investigated in respect of the variety of drugs,medication time and drug combination etc.RESULTS: 100% of the total 142 cases received antibacterials for prophylaxis purpose for 6.8 days on average.58 cases(40.8%) received antibacterials before operation,8 cases(5.6%) during operation and 76 cases(53.5%) after operation.35.8% were rational on the whole and 64.2% irrational in drug use.CONCLUSIONS: The application of antibacterials in our hospital is worrisome,therefore,it is urgent to tighten control on the clinical application of antibacterials.

Objective To explore the influence of aerobic exercise on plasma lipoprotein in overweight and obese PCOS women.Methods 12 obese and overweight patients with PCOS were selected.Before and after 12 weeks of aerobic exercise,the height,weight,BMI,WHR,body fat percentage and fasting blood samples of high-density lipoprotein(HDL),low density lipoprotein(VLDL),triglyceride and cholesterol levels were measured and detected.Results After 12 weeks of aerobic exercise,the BMI[(25.43±2.17)kg/cm2 vs.(22.27±1.57)kg/cm2,t=8.52],WHR[(0.864±0.021) vs.(0.831±0.019),t=2.99],fat rate[(33.76±5.36)% vs.(30.53±5.66)%,t=5.580],and triglyceride[(1.90±0.58)mmol/L vs.(0.95±0.51)mmol/L,t=7.400]were obviously decreased,the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol[(2.07±0.39)mmol/L vs.(3.31±0.48)mmol/L,t=3.352]was obviously increased,the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05).Conclusion Obese and overweight PCOS women can lose weight through aerobic exercise,so as to adjust lipoprotein spectrum and improve health.

E-health was referred as the use of internet and ICT ( information and communication technology) for health in this paper, which mainly encompassed electronic health record, online health information and tele-health. The paper summarized the new characteristics of privacy of e-health, and presented current privacy issues raised by these applications. The major privacy concerns were unauthorized access to and secondary use of privacy data. The paper put forward some governance suggestions of privacy protection.

Objective PRDX-2 of the basic level in patients with PCOS,and its correlation with cardiovascular risk factors.Methods Collected 78 cases of PCOS patients for POCS group,at the same time,choose healthy check-up 40 cases for control group.Determination of plasma Peroxiredoxin-2,blood sugar,glycosylated hemoglobin,cholesterol,triglycerides,and other biochemical indicators.Results Peroxiredoxin-2 level in PCOS group are higher than the control group(F=26.03;P<0.05).Peroxiredoxin-2 and cardiovascular risk factors exist correlation,including systolic blood pressure (r=0.213),diastolic blood pressure (r=0.380),fasting blood glucose (r=0.308),glycosylated hemoglobin (r=0.303),cholesterol (r=0.190),triglyceride (r=0.276),LDL-C (r=0.484) were positively correlated,and CRP (r=0.227),HDL-C negative correlation (r=0.355).Conclusion Determination of Peroxiredoxin-2 level can be used as evaluation of patients with PCOS risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

Peroxisome proliferators -activated receptors γ(PPARγ)agonist is a kind of drugs that is widely used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes,also shows effects on hypertensive disease,regulating blood lipid metabolism, anti -atherosclerosis and inhibiting inflammatory response.In recent years,good effects of PPARγagonist have been found on different animal models of asthma,and production of proinflammatory cytokines can significantly be reduced. Airway remodeling can be reduced,and airway hyper responsiveness can be inhibited by PPARγagonist that provide theoretical basis on new drugs for asthma.The mechanism of bronchial asthma cured by PPARγagonists are reviewed briefly.

Objective To investigate the correlation between regional cerebral oxygen saturation (rSO2) value and the prognosis of comatose patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).Methods From January 2013 to September 2014, a total of 64 comatose patients admitted in the department of ICU were enrolled.The patients were divided into two groups : consciousness group (n =25) and coma group (n =39).The level of the Glasgow coma scale (GCS), APACHE Ⅱ score and Full Outline of UnResponsiveness score (FOUR) of patients were monitored.The rSO2 was measured by Somanetics INVOS 5100 monitor.Results The differences in levels of FOUR and GCS at admission and GCS at discharge between the two groups were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).In the consciousness group, the levels of GCS、 FOUR and rSO2 were higher compared with the coma group (P ＜ 0.05).ROC curve analysis revealed that the areas under the curve of GCS, FOUR and rSO2 for predicting prognosis were 0.823 (0.718-0.928), 0.820 (0.728-0.912) and 0.924 (0.863-0.985) respectively.Conclusions The rSO2 was useful for estimating the prognosis of comatose patients in general ICU.

Objective To study the safety of hypothermia in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic brain damage after asphyxia. Methods Twenty four full term newborns with Apgar score 0.05). Conclusions The results suggest that the selective head cooling in full term newborn has no significant adverse effect on cardiac function, kidney function and coagulation function.

Objective To investigate the single nucleotide polymorphism of 5,10-methylenetetrahy-drofolate reduetase gene and its association with the treatment of methotrexate in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Methods A total of 184 patients with RA were divided into methotrexate (MTX) treatment group, MTX+other DMARDs treatment group, and treatment with other DMARDs but not MTX group. The clinical and laboratory data were evaluated before treatment and 24 weeks later. Efficacy and toxieities of each medication were also analyzed. Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR was conducted to test gene mutations in RA patients and 100 healthy controls. Results There was no significant difference in the frenqueney of 677CC,CT, "IT and 1298AA, AC, CC between RA patients and the healthy controls. There was significant difference in the frenqueney of 677CC, CT, Tr between RA patients with cardiovascular eomplieations and the healthy controls. In the MTX treatment group, there was significant difference in the frenqueney of 1298AC, CC between the group in which MTX was effective and the other groups in which MTX was not effective, the occurrence rate of side effects of MTX in the patients with 677TT was higher than those without mutation(CC).In MTX+other DMARDs group, the occurrence rate of side effects of MTX in the patients with 677TT and CT was higher than that without mutation (CC). Conclusion There is no relationship between the pathogenesis of RA and the 677C/T, 1298A/C mutation of MTHFR gene. MTHFR gene 677C/T mutation is probably one of the genetic risk factors for cardiovascular complications of RA patients and the side effects of MTX. MTHFR gene 1298A/C allel is associated with the efficacy of MTX.

Objective To detect the plasma level of osteopontin (OPN)in systemie lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients,and its correlation with disease activity as well as organ damage was analyzed.Methods The plasma level of osteopontin was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 68 SLE patients and 36 healthy controls.Results The plasma level of OPN was significantly higher in SLE Datients than in healthy control group(P＜0.01).In SLE patients,the plasma OPN level was significantly higher in patients with renal damage than in patients without renal damage(P＜0.01).Patients with lung interstitial disease and gastrointestinal tract involvement,their plasma level of OPN was significantly higher than those of patients with inactive lupus (P＜0.01).The plasma level of OPN correlated positivelv and significantly with SLEDAI score(r=O.523,P＜0.001)and 24-hour urine protein excretion(r=0.403,P=0.001),but negativelycorrelated with serum C3 level (r=-0.398,P=0.001).There was no correlation between the Dlasma level of OPN and anti-dsDNA antibody,Sm antibody,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,serum IgG,IgA,IgM levels(P＞0.05 ). Conclusion OPN may be involved in the pathogenesis of SLE,and may be a potential marker for dis-ease activity and organ damage.

Purpose:To detect the expression of MDR 1 / P-gp,C-erbB-2 in breast cancer and study the correlation between MDR 1 /P-gp and C-erbB-2. Methods:Expression of MDR 1 gene was measured with the flu orogenic quantitative RT-PCR method in 57 cases of breast cancer and 20 cases o f control group (including 10 cases of benign breast lesions and 10 cases of adj acent breast tissues). In addition, immunohistochemical analyses was used to det ect the expression of P-gp and C-erbB-2 protein in the above mentioned tissu es. Results:The amplification rate of MDR 1 gene and the expre ssion of P-gp protein in breast cancer group was 50.88% (29/57) and 42.11% (24/ 57), which had a significient difference as compared to the control group. The a mplification of MDR 1 gene were higher than the expression of P-gp protein ,there was close correlation between them but not complete correspondence.The p ositive rate was 28.07%(16/57) in detecting the overexpression of C-erbB-2 pro tein in breast cancer group, nevertheless, no positive case was found in the con trol group. The expression of MDR 1/P-gp was also correlated with the over expression of C-erbB-2. Conclusions:Multidrug resistance gene1(MDR 1)and protoonco gene C-erbB-2 were co-expressed in breast cancer,and their expression were po sitively related. The expression of above mentioned two genes have a relationshi p with multidrug resistance in breast cancer.
