Modern Clinical Nursing 2016;15(11):19-22
Objective To study the correlation of psychological status of nurses experiencing negative events with coping styles and social support. Methods The symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90),the simplified coping style questionnaire (SCSQ),the social science research solutions (SSRS) were used for the investigation among 108 nurses who experienced negative events so as to look into the correlation of their psychological status with coping style and social support. Results The total score by SCL-90 was (194.41 ±35.05).The psychological status and positive coping styles and social support were negatively correlated (P <0.05) and positively with negative coping (P <0.01).Conclusions The psychological health is at middle to low level and it is influenced by the coping styles and social support. So the administrative should attach great importance to their mental health status and influencing factors of the positive role, help them gain social supports and enhance their subjective sensation of social support.

Objective To study the effects of proprioception training on the motor function and ability in the activities of daily living (ADL) of hemiplegic stroke patients. Methods Forty hemiplegic stroke patients were divided into study group and a control group ( n =20 in each). The two groups received conventional rehabilitation treatment and pharmacotherapy, but the study group received additional proprioception training. The Technobody proprioceptive system assessment, the Fugl-Meyer lower limb assessment (FMA),the Berg balance scale (BBS) and the modified Barthel index (MBI) were used to evaluate their proprioceptive ability, lower limb motor function, balance and ADL ability, before and after 4 weeks of treatment. Results After 4 weeks, proprioception, lower limb motor function, balance and ADL ability had all improved significantly in the experimental group.Lower limb motor function, balance and ADL ability had also improved significantly in the control group, but they showed no significant change in their average proprioceptive ability. The improvement in the experimental group was superior to that of the control group in terms of proprioceptive ability, balance and ADL ability. Conclusions Proprioception training can improve the motor function (including the proprioception and balance) and ADL ability of hemiplegic stroke patients.

AIM: To investigate the differential expression profile between nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE1 and its steady EBV-LMP1-transfected cell line CNE1-LMP1, and to explore the regulatory effect of LMP1 on oncomiRs expression in CNE1 cell line. METHODS: A microRNA array that targets 132 of the most well studied oncomiRs was used to detect the expression profile of CNE1 and CNE1-LMP1. qRT-PCR assay were used to verify the expression data detected by microarray. RESULTS: Among the restricted 132 miRNAs, 30 were detectable. Among which, 30 were expressed in CNE1-LMP1, 19 in CNE1 and 11 were specifically expressed in CNE1-LMP1. Among the 19 shared miRNAs, the expression level of 6 miRNAs (hsa-miR-19b, hsa-miR-17-3p, hsa-miR-22, hsa-miR-149, hsa-miR-150 and hsa-miR-188) elevated over two folds in CNE1-LMP1. No decrease in miRNA expression more than two folds was observed. qRT-PCR confirmed the expression difference of these six miRNAs (P<0.01). Among the 11 specifically expressed miRNAs in CNE1-LMP1, hsa-miR-122a showed the highest expression level surpassing the internal control sample. CONCLUSION: Our data suggest that LMP1 may play an important role in regulating the expression of miRNAs in tumor, which may be another important pathway employed by LMP1 in the development of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

The high quality of Chinese and western integrative medicine talents is the premise of the integrated Chinese and Western medicine to the world. Postgraduate education is directly related to the development of Chinese and Western medicine. The Second Clinical Medical College of Guang-zhou University of Chinese Medicine integrated the declaration and organization and implementation of the national major scientific research projects with Chinese and Western Medicine. By building ech-elon team model and establishing a platform for the exchange of research and communication platform, which covers the academic, technical, scientific and technological innovation, and so on, it cultivated high-level, complex and integrated Chinese and Western Medicine talents from knowledge and skills, innovation ability, interpersonal ability, and comprehensive management ability, etc.

Objective To explore the impact of preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the expressions of multi-drug resistance genes in patients with cervical cancer and its relationship with the effect of chemotherapy. Methods Ninety-eight cervical cancer patients with TP regimen selected to perform preoperative chemotherapy were enrolled in the Affiliated Hospital of Guiyang Medical College between January 2010 and June 2014. Immunohistochemisty (En vision method) was used to determine the expressions of P-gP, GST-π and TopoII of the same patients before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy and explore the relationship with the effect of chemotherapy. Results The positive expression rates of P-gp and GST-π were 71.43% and 64.29% before chemotherapy and 80.61%and 74.49%after chemotherapy, respectively. The former two had significant differences (P<0.01). The positive expression rates of TopoII was 48.98%before chemotherapy and 28.57%after chemotherapy , respectively, showing significant differences (P < 0.01). The expressions of P-gp, GST-π and TopoⅡ gene were not affected by the clinical and pathological features of cervical cancer (P > 0.05). Before neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the positive expression of GST-π in the ineffective group was statistically higher than that in the effective group (P<0.05). The positive expressions of P-gp and Topo II showed no statistical significance between the effective group and the ineffective group (P > 0.05). There was significant correlation in the expressions of P-gp, GST-π and TopoⅡ(P < 0.05) before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Conclusions The expression of P-gp, GST-πand TopoⅡgene may not be affected by the clinical and pathological features of cervical cancer, but may change expressions of multi-drug resistance genes in cervical cancer by neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Monitoring their expression has a guiding significance for drug selection, prognostic judgment, and the following treatment regimen decision. The GST-π, expression level can be used as a biological parameter to predict the effect of TP regimen neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Objective To explore the clinical characteristics and management of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) early after kidney transplantation (<3 months).Method Five cases of AMI early posttransplantation among 122 kidney transplant recipients from June 2011 to December 2012 were retrospectively reviewed. Results Of 5 AMI patients, there were 2 cases within one week postoperatively, one case at 11 th day postoperation, and the other two at 29th day and 46th day after operation respectively.Acute left heart failure was complicated in 3 cases within first two weeks. All the AMI patients had elevated TnⅠ levels which declined subsequently. The climax of TnⅠ levels in all the 5 AMI patients were above 5 ng/mL,and more than 20 ng/mL in two AMI patients within one week.Given by symptomatic and supportive treatment, antiplatelet and anticoagulation therapies and cardioprotective medications, all the five AMI patients were improved.Low molecular heparin was additionally administrated to the 2 cases within first week according to the severe conditions.New emerged small volume of hematocele was proved by ultrasound after 3 days and low molecular heparin was ceased. All the 5 patients survived and neither thrombolysis nor percutaneous coronary intervention therapy was given to them. Conclusion In addition to general prevention against AMI in kidney recipients with high risk factors, managing anemia and hypertensiorn, and improving graft function and systematic status are also important to decrease the risk of AMI.Moreover, cardioprotective therapy including antiplatelet therapies,beta-blockers,angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI)/angiotensin-2 receptor blockers and statins, which are recommended to the general population with AMI,will also profit to the kidney transplant recipients with AMI.However, aggressive intervention therapies might be more prudent to be used in this population.
