Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(24):10-12
Objective To analyze the reason of nursing complaints and discuss prevention measures. Methods From October 2007 to October 2011,52 cases nursing complaints were retrospectively analyzed in my hospital. The countermeasures were summarized. Results The reasons of nursing complaints were the cost issue,no strong responsibility, bad service attitude and insufficient communication and so on.All complaints were taken service recovery and improvement measures, and 52 cases nursing complaints were resolved through effective communication. Conclusions Strengthening occupational ethics education and legal knowledge learning, improving the service attitude, mastering the communication skills, improving the level of business, strengthening management can improve the nurse-patient relationship and reduce nursing complaints.
2.Vitamin E and childhood asthma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(9):681-683,684
Vitamin E( VE) is a major human plasma fat-soluble antioxidant. It has been proved that VE can protect the nervous system, skeletal muscle, retina and the cardiovascular system, etc. Nowadays, more and more researchers focus on the relationship between vitamin E and asthma. This article reviewes the research pro-gresses of the physiochemical properties of VE,and its relationship with asthma.

0.05), but the patients in the rehabilitation group demonstrated much higher scores in Fugl Meyer and Barthel index than those in the control group at the end of 4 and 12 weeks after rehabilitation therapy( P 0.05) 12 weeks after the therapy. Conclusion Early intensive rehabilitation therapy can effectively improve the motor function and ADL of stroke patients; the continuing home rehabilitation program for at least 8 weeks is helpful for improving the patient's functional independence, increasing the cost effectiveness, and shortening the length of stay of stroke patients.

Objective To investigate the features of non-senile colonic diverticula as diagnosed by coloscopic examination in 47 cases. Methods 47 cases of non-senile colonic diverticula were diagnosed by colonoscopy in the Department of Endoscopy, General Hospital of PLA, from Jan. 1996 to Dec. 2001. Results There were 38 males and 9 females, whose age was under 60, with a mean age of 43.2 years. The incidence and detectable rate for simple and multiple diverticula showed no relationship to patients' age. The detectable rate of colon diverticula was higher in males than in females. Right colon was the predilection site for both simple and multiple colonic diverticula, especially for simple diverticula. The ratio of incidence for right to left colon was 20.5∶1. The ratio was 2.8∶1 in senile patients (aged above 60, detectable rate of colon diverticula was16.9‰). Conclusion The incidence of colonic diverticula in non-senile patients showed no relationship to age. The incidence of diverticulum in right colon was higher in non-senile patients than in seniors. The incidence of diverticulum in the left colon or both sides of colon was lower in non-senile patients was in seniors.

Objective Finding characteristic of senile colon diverticula in 70 cases senile colon diverticula diagnosed by colonoscope through comparing and summarizing. Methods From Jan 1997 to Dec 2001, 70 cases older than 60 years old senile colon diverticula diagnosed by colonoscope in endoscopy department of PLA general hospital. Male 54 cases ,female 16 cases .Age from 60 to 84 years old, average age 68.70?5.39. Results ①With age increased, detectable rate of colon diverticula and multiple colon diverticula rised; ②Detectable rate in male higher than female; ③Whether the single or multiple diverticula ,all predilection site is in the right colon, rate of the right to the left is 2.8∶1(42∶15), and the single diverticula is more obvious. Conclusions ①Occurrence of diverticula have relation to age; ②Incidence in the right colon of senile is lower than of young people; ③The left colon diverticula and bilateral colon diverticula in senile is higher than in young people.

Objective To establish the national standard materials for haemiglobincyanide (HiCN) for the traceability assays of hemoglobin. Methods HiCN national standard materials were established according to the document of International Committee for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH). The standard materials were certificated according to ISO Guide 35, including homogeneity and stability. Then they were characterized by the calibrated spectrophotometer which can be traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The international reference materials of HiCN were compared with the result of the WHO reference laboratory to confirm the reliability. Results The uncertainty of the HiCN standard materials was 0.000 4 g/L and the variation coefficient (CV) was 0.09%. The uncertainty of long-term stability was 0.000 6 g/L; the certificated value of the standard materials was 0.615 9 g/L with uncertainty of 0.000 4 g/L. The combined uncertainty was 0.000 9 g/L and the expanded uncertainty was 0.001 8 g/L when the cover factor was 2. The relative error was 0.08% between the result of the standard materials and the international certificated value. Conclusion The homogeneity and stability of the standard material is acceptable and the method of characterization is accurate and reliable.

Objective To evaluate the accuracy and comparability of secondary hematology analyzer for platelet enumeration in order to determine the accuracy and reliability of assigned value of fresh blood. Methods The results between secondary standard hematology analyzer and the reference method of platelet enumeration of 40 specimens were compared according to the document from CLSI EP9-A2.The correlation and bias were calculated. At the same time, the results of secondary standard hematology analyzer between our laboratory and Japan reference laboratory were compared. The fresh blood from normal people was prepared to be used as calibrator after assigned value by secondary standard hematology analyzer. And 36 hematology analyzers were performed correctness validation and calibrated by 36 fresh bloods. Results The results of 40 specimens by secondary standard hematology analyzer and the reference method were ( 108 -326) × 109/L and( 110 -327 ) × 109/L respectively.Correlation coefficient between the secondary standard hematology analyzer and the reference method was 0.993.The bias between two methods was from -3.8%to 3.4%.The results of NCCL and Japan reference laboratory from 2009 to 2010 were( 185 -203) × 109/L and (185 - 198) × 109/L The bias range between our laboratory and reference laboratory in Japan was from - 1.4% to 3.7%.The ranges of coefficient variations of two laboratories were from 2.0% to 3.0% and from 2.6% to 3.4%,respectively.The biases of 20 hematology analyzers were from - 2.6% to 2.1% and they passed the correctness validation. The biases of 16 hematology analyzers were decreased from 3.4% - 12.6%of pre-calibration to 0% - 2.8% of post-calibration.Conclusions The results of secondary standard hematology analyzer are assured to be accurate and comparable by the comparison of reference laboratories. It is feasible that fresh blood assigned value by secondary standard hematology analyzer can be used as calibrator for the hematology analyzer.

Objective To explore the effect of angiotensin Ⅱ antagonist on left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH) and insulin resistance in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Methods One hundred and twenty elderly patients with diabetes mellitus and essential hypertension with LVH by echocardiography entered the study. Patients were randomized into the telmisartan (80~160 mg/d) group or perindopril (4~8 mg /d) group. After treatment of telmisartan or perindopril, patients were followed-up for 8 months.Plasma sample was collected from each patient before and after treatment of telmisartan or perindopril, respectively. Then plasma levels of cholesterol, fasting plasma glucose(FPG), insulin and Homeostasis Model Assessment Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR) were investigated. The echocardiography before and after 8 months of treatment with telmisartan or perindopril were also examined. Results Data were analyzed and showed that: (1)After 8 months of treatment with telmisartan or perindopril, blood pressure was reduced from 159/101 to 142/89 mm Hg(P
