Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(05):-
Objective To observe the effects of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) on the expression of NF-?B and ICAM-1 after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats. Methods The middle cerebral artery occlusion-reperfusion (MCAOR) model was established by using Zea-Longas method in rats. Seventy-two rats were recruited in this study and randomly divided into 3 groups: a cerebral ischemia-reperfusion group (CIR group),a CIR+HBO group(HBO group),and a sham-operation group(SO group). The infarct volume of each group was measured by TTC staining technique, and the expression of NF-?B and ICAM-1 was measured at 24 h, 48 h, 72 h and 120 h, respectively, after reperfusion by using immunohistochemistry staining. Results The infarct volume in HBO group was significantly smaller than that in CIR group (P
2.Treatment of Alprostadil-induced Phlebitis with Hydrogel Dressing:A Report of 22 Cases
Herald of Medicine 2016;35(5):489-490
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of hydrogel dressing for alprostadil-induced phlebitis. Methods Forty-three patients with alprostadil-induced phlebitis were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group (n= 22),in which hydrogel dressing was applied to affected area, and control group(n = 21),in which mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream was used to coat the surface of the skin. The curative effects were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The therapy effect on day 7 was superior to that on day 3 in both groups. The curative rate was 86.36% in the treatment group and 47.62% in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Hydrogel dressing can effectively treat alprostadil-induced by phlebitis.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2016;32(2):251-255
AIM:To explore the changes and the mechanism of heart functions in the rats with spleen-qi defi-ciency syndrome.METHODS:The rats were randomly divided into blank control group and spleen-qi deficiency model group. The changes of cardiac functions in the rats were determined by ultrasonic imaging with a high-resolution in vivo im-aging system.HE staining was used to observe the pathological changes. The protein expression of brain natriuretic peptide ( BNP) in the myocardium was assessed by Western blotting. The contents of BNP and cAMP in the serum and myocardium were measured by ELISA.The mRNA expression of basic fibroblast growth factor ( bFGF) and protein kinase A ( PKA) was detected by real-time PCR.RESULTS:Compared with blank control group, the myocardial cells in the model group had different degrees of necrosis and degeneration.Stroke volume and ejection fraction were decreased. The contents of cAMP and BNP in the serum and myocardium were increased in model group. The protein expression of BNP and the mR-NA expression of bFGF and PKA were also increased.CONCLUSION:Spleen-qi deficiency syndrome causes heart func-tion decline in rats. The expression of BNP, cAMP, PKA and bFGF is all increased.

Objective To study the relationship between hyperhomocysteic acid(HHcy) and artherosclerosis. Methods 20 male rabbits were randomly divided into control and experiment groups(n=10).HHcy models were made by hypodermical injection of DL-methionine for 7 weeks. After 7 weeks homocysteic acid(Hcy),IL-1?,IL-6,and IL-8 in serum of rabbits in two groups were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).And the pathomorphological changes of aorta were observed with HE staining. The number of NF-?B positive cells in the aorta were counted by immunohistochemical method. Results The levels of Hcy,IL-1?,IL-6 and IL-8 in experiment group were higher than those in control group(P

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To summarize the regularity and and characteristics of response to interferon treatment for patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Methods 150 cases of CHB were randomly divided into two groups:interferon therapy (observation group,n=90)and routine protecting liver(control group,n=60)By prospective researching programme,HBV markers, including liver function test were continous periodically detected simultaneously,HBV-DNA quantitative blot hybridization,HBV-DNA quantitative PCR determination were performed. Results The typical responsiveness curve of transaminase decreased rapidly, was accompanied with the use of interferon. HBV DNA turns negative earlier than HBeAg doses. In those patients who was response to interferon completely after interferon administration, the HBV DNA and HBeAg turning negative average time was 1 9 and 3 4 months respectively. The level of HBV DNA was continuons decreased in all patients treated with interferon. HBV DNA quantitative PCR provide more accuracy of viral copies in patient's peripheral blood than that in dot hybridization in interferon therapy.conclusions Interferon the treatment for patients with CHB is effectiveness.

Medical image segmentation is a classical puzzle for researchers.Image segmentation is the method to delineate anatomic structures or other interested regions automatically or semi-automatically,which is helpful to diagnosis and plays a crucial role in many medical imaging applications. In this article,a rather complete survey to medical image segmentation methods and their characteristics are given, especially to the new methods or improvement of the classical methods which was put forward recently. The prospects and the challenge of medical image segmentation is discussed.

The fasting blood chromium and its area of 83 noninsulindependent diabetics and 24 normal subjects were determined. The results showed that both the fastng blood chromium concentrations (39.9?17.4ppb) and its area (128.8?48.5 ppb/h) of diabetics were significantly lower than that of normal subjects (80.9?28.5 ppb, 270.6?88.4 ppb/h) (P

Objective: Nowadays, the power calibration methods of the microwave hyperthermia apparatus doesn't take the power loss of the radiator into account Aiming at this problem, the authors designed an equipment of measuring the actual output power of the microwave hyperthermia apparatus. A new method is proposed for calibration the output microwave power of microwave hyperthermia apparatus. Methods: The magnetron anode current was maintained at a default value by a control system. The microwave power generated by microwave source is coupled firstly to a low-power meter by the coaxial cable to measuring the power going through coaxial cable (P_(coaxial cable)). Then the microwave radiator is connected to the coaxial cable to make the microwave radiated by radiator. The radiator is assembled in the experimental device for the microwave completely absorbed by the water. The absorbed microwave energy of the water is calculated by measuring the water temperature change. The energy loss of the experimental device is calculated using the cooling rate. The output power of the radiator is equal to the ratio of the sum of the two aforementioned energy and the time. And the efficiency of the radiator η_(radiator), is equal to P_(radiator)/P_(coaxial cable) Results: The relationship between the actual output power of the microwave hyperthermia apparatus and the mag- netron anode current is P_(radiator) = 2η_(radiator) I. The efficiency of the radiator is η_(radiator)= (34±1)%. Conclusion: From the experimental results, the current method for calibration output power of microwave hyperthermia apparatus is defective, it dose not consider the conversion efficiency of radiator. Using the calibration method introduced in this paper, wecan accurately deter- mine the actual output power of microwave hyperthermia Apparatus.
