Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of deep electroacupuncture at Baliao points intreating chronic pelvic inflammatory disease (CPID) due to damp-heat stagnation.Method Sixty-four patients with CPID due to damp-heat stagnation were randomized into two groups, 32 cases in the deep-electroacupuncture group and 32 cases in ordinary-electroacupuncture group, 10 d as a treatment course, and the therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 2 treatment courses. The pre-treatment and post-treatment body sign scores and the change of the scores in the two groups were compared.Result The total effective rates were respectively 93.8% and 75.0% in the deep-electroacupuncture group and ordinary-electroacupuncture group, and the improvement of body sign score in the deep-electroacupuncture group was statistically more significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Deep electroacupuncture at Baliao points can produce a significant efficacy in treating CPID due to damp-heat stagnation.

Welding fumes exposure increased the risk of lung cancer. The factors that cause lung cancer included：welding fume of chromium，nickel and their compounds，smoking and asbestos dust，welding types and welding materials. The results of animal experiments showed that the metal compounds in welding fumes could be deposited in lung tissue and caused persistent mild inflammation which led to increase lung tumor in animal models. Chromium，nickel，iron compounds could cause tumor separately. The use of tumor initiator pretreatment led to increase the number of lung tumor with statistical significance. The mechanisms of lung cancer development include chronic inflammation that caused by continuous deposition of carcinogenic metal oxides such as chromium and nickel in the lung. Free radicals peroxidation causes DNA damage，which acts on tumor related genes and causes their abnormal expression and generates lung tumor cells. Activating telomerase activity may promote normal cells transform into immortalized tumor cells. By activating nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor-2 and nuclear factor Kappa B signaling，welding fumes cause inflammation，DNA damage and formation of lung tumor cells. Objective To study the related factors of hemorrhage of uterine scar again after cesarean section,available for peer exchange.Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data of 650 patients with scar uterus again cesarean section patients,analysis of postoperative hemorrhage patients,the causes of bleeding.They were divided into placental group (n =6),incision dehiscence group (n =7),uterine atony group (n =17)according to the causes of hemorrhage,and related factors of postoperative bleeding were analyzed.Results The bleeding volume of the placental group in operation[(2 500 ±500)mL]was higher than the uterine atony group[(1 300 ±400)mL] and the incision dehiscence group[(700 ±200)mL].The bleeding volume of the uterine atony group was higher than the incision dehiscence group (t =10.29,5.56,4.33,all P <0.05).The bleeding volume of the uterine atony group after operation[(100.09 ±36.45)mL]was higher than the placental group[(90.71 ±20.31)mL]and the uterine atony group[(81.23 ±30.34)mL].The bleeding volume of the placental group after operation were higher than the uterine atony group (t =3.94,3.02,2.78,all P <0.05).4 cases of hysterectomy,3 cases of conservative surgery in placental group.1 case of hysterectomy,16 cases of conservative surgery in uterine atony group.7 cases conservative surgery in incision dehiscence group.Conclusion placental factors,uterine atony,incision dehiscence all can lead to scar uterus again cesarean section hemorrhage.We should also strengthen the clinical prevention work,and actively take relevant measures,reduce postoperative bleeding risk,to ensure the safety of the mother and infant.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of dietary,exercise intervention combined with Rou-ganjiangzhi capsule on non -alcoholic fatty liver disease.Methods A randomized,double -blinded and placebo drug parallel controlled method was used in this study.Sixty patients were enrolled into the study and randomly assigned into treatment group and control group.The patients of treatment group were taken with Rouganjiangzhi capsule combined behavior intervention.The patients of control group were taken with placebo drug combined behavior inter-vention.Each patient were accepted 12 weeks of the therapy.After treatment,the clinical symptoms,liver function, blood lipids,indicators of changes in imaging were detected,and the results of each group statistically were analyzed. Results After 12 weeks treatment,five patients were rejected,and the clinical symptoms,body mass index (BMI), waist -hip ratio were markedly improved in each group:[(1.02 ±1.08)points,(26.29 ±2.54),(0.92 ±0.04), (0.81 ±0.95),(26.58 ±3.11)and (0.91 ±0.04)]compared with[(3.62 ±0.96)points,(27.63 ±2.50),(0.94 ± 0.03),(3.60 ±0.95),(28.22 ±3.14),(0.95 ±0.03)(t =4.74,2.64,0.82,4.62,3.61,0.84,all P <0.05)]. After the treatment,the liver function (ALT,GGT)and cholesterol (TC)of treatment group decreased significantly than that before treatment:[(75.28 ±25.19)IU /L,(48.41 ±38.42)IU /L,(3.02 ±0.85)IU /L],compared with [(127.46 ±52.42)IU /L,(48.41 ±38.42)IU /L,(4.63 ±0.69)IU /L (t =2.54,2.18,2.42,all P <0.05)],while the liver function (ALT,AST,GGT)and blood lipids(TC,TG)of control group had no significantly decreased.The liver and spleen CT ratio raised apparently in treatment group than control group (0.86 ±0.24),(0.71 ±0.20)(t =0.83, P <0.05).Conclusion Rouganjiangzhi capsule achieve the good therapeutic effect on non -alcoholic fatty liver.

Background and purpose: Paget's disease (PD) of the breast is a rare disease. The survival of PD was reported to be related to the characteristics of the underlying carcinoma. This study aimed to investigate the char-acteristics and survival of PD patients with underlying invasive breast carcinoma (IBC). Methods: Fifty-four patients diagnosed with PD and an associated IBC in Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center from 2002 to 2007 were re-cruited in this study as study group. Since most PD overexpress HER-2, 72 patients with HER-2-overexpressing breast cancer were randomly recruited as control group. This study compared survival between these two groups. Results:Twenty-five (46.3％) patients in study group had no clinical manifestation of PD and were diagnosed unexpectedly by a histologic examination. Thirty-five (64.8％) patients in study group had tumors larger than 2 cm, twenty-six(48.1％) patients in study group had chance of axillary lymph node involvement. Compared with control group, patients in study group tended to have more events (5-year relapse-free survival: 76.4％ vs 48.5％, P<0.01). In the control group, most events occurred in the first 3 years after operation, while recurrence might happen all along in the 5 years after opera-tion in study group. Patients in study group also had a poorer overall survival than in control group (61.0％ vs 80.6％, P=0.01). Conclusion: Patients with Paget's disease and underlying invasive breast cancer tend to have poorer survival than those with HER-2-overexpressing breast cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To upgrade the information management of the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)pharmacy in our hospital.METHODS:The benefits and problems in implementing information management in our hospital's TCM pharmacy were discussed,and solutions for improvement were proposed.RESULT & CONCLUSION:The application of the information management system can help regulate the management of the TCM pharmacy,and establish a closer connection between traditional medicine and modern technology.

Objective To compare the effects of methimazole and propylthiouracil on 2-beta globulin and thyroid hormone level in patients with hyperthyroidism.Methods90 cases of patients with hyperthyroidism were treated in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2015, and randomly divided into control group and observation group, 45 cases in each group, the control group was treated with propylthiouracil, the observation group was treated with methimazole, and the level of thyroid hormone, the blood and urine β2-globulin, the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups during before&after treatment.ResultsCompared with before treatment, blood, urine β2-globulin content of two groups were significantly decreased, and the blood, urine beta β2-globulin content of the observation group significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05);compared with before treatment, FT3 and FT4 levels of two groups were significantly decreased during 1,2,3 months after treatment (P<0.05), TSH levels were significantly increased(P<0.05), and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05);During treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was no significant difference.ConclusionThere is significantly effect of methimazole in the treatment of hyperthyroidism with methimazole, it can effectively reduce the β2-globulin content, and regulating thyroid hormone levels in the body, it is safe worthy of promotion and application.

Objective To explore the accuracy rate of CO2 injection method and conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the staging diagnosis for stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium.Methods Preoperative staging diagnosis for stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium was done,and the method of injecting CO2 gas into the uterine lumen by catheter was applied for pelvic MRI scan in 38 cases of stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium.The pathological staging result was treated as the gold standard to compare the accuracy rate of CO2 injection method with conventional scan method (43 cases).Results For conventional MRI scan group,the accuracy rate of staging diagnosis in stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium was 81.3 ％ (35/43),including stage Ⅰ A 75.0 ％(6/8),stage Ⅰ B 83.9 ％(26/31),stage Ⅰ c 75.0 ％(3/4).For CO2 injection group,the accuracy rate was 89.4 ％(34/38),including stage Ⅰ A 85.7 ％(6/7),stage Ⅰ B 88.9 ％(16/18),stage Ⅰ c 84.6 ％ (12/13).There was a statistical difference between the accuracy rates of two methods (x2=7.81,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional scan method,the CO2 injection method with better simplicity,safety and application value,could be more accurate to determine the location of endometrial cancer and the degree of myometrial infiltration.

Objective To investigate the effect of pioglitazone on the activation of pancreatic apoptosis in the pathogenesis of rats with acute necrotizing pancreatitis.Methods Eighty Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into four groups,including acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP),sham operation (SO),solvent control (Solvent),pioglitazone intervention (pioglitazone) group,with 20 rats in each group.ANP model was induced by retrograde injection of 4％ sodium taurocholate (1ml/kg body weight) into the biliary-pancreatic duct.The rats in pioglitazone group were injected pioglitazone (40 mg/kg body weight) into the ANP abdominalcavity 30 min before mldel induction.The rats were sacrificed at 1 h,3 h,6 h,and 12 h after ANP model induction.The pancreatic tissues were harvested.Routine HE staining was used to evaluate pancreatic pathological damage.The apoptosis was determined by TUNEL method.The expression of PPARγ was determined by using immunohistochemistry and Western-blot methods.The activity of caspase3 in pancreatic tissues was detected by using spectrophotometry.Results The pancreatic pathological damage was attenuated in rats in pioglitazone group compared with that in rats of ANP group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The PPARγ expression of pioglitazone group was 1.34 ± 0.09,which was significantly higher than that in ANP group (0.75 ± 0.05),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The apoptotic index in pioglitazone group at 3 h was 8.35 ± 0.95,which was significantly higher than that in ANP group at 3 h (4.37 ± 1.22) ; the caspase3 activity was 9.24 ± 1.78,which was significantly higher than that in ANP group (5.04 ± 0.86),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P ＜0.05).Conclusions Pioglitazone intervention attenuates pancreatic inflammation,increases PPARγ expression and caspase3 activity and induces apoptosis in pancreas of rats with acute necrotizing pancreatitis.

Objective To investigate the effects of pioglitazone pre-treating on pancreatic acinar cell (AR42J cells) apoptosis induced by caerulein.Methods AR42J cells were divided into blank control group (with normal culture),pioglitazone group (40 μmol/L),caerulein control group (1 × 10-8 mol/L),pioglitazone+ caerulein group (40 μmol/L pioglitazone + 1 × 10-8 mol/L caerulein) and pioglitazone + GW9662+caerulein group (40 μmol/L pioglitazone+ 5 μmol/L GW9662 + 1 × 10-8 mol/L caerulein).Pioglitazone and GW9662 were added 30 minutes earlier than caerulein.Cell proliferation rate of each group was determined by MTT assay at three,six,12 and 24 hour.The cell apoptosis rate was detected by flow cytometry with Annexin Ⅴ/PI staining and terminal dexynucleotidyl transferase-mediated deoxyuridine triphosphate (dUTP) nick end labeling (TUNEL) staining.The activity of Caspase 3,8 and 9 of each group was measured.Mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) was detected by flow cytometry with JC-1 staining.Single factor analysis of variance and LSD test were performed for data analysis.Results At six,12 and 24 hour,the cell proliferation rate of pioglitazone group and pioglitazone + caerulein group was 0.19±0.02,0.22±0.02,0.36±0.02 and 0.20±0.04,0.23±0.02,0.38±0.02,respectively,which were significantly lower than those of blank control group (0.25 ±0.04,0.28 ± 0.03 and 0.46±0.02) and caerulein group (0.23±0.02,0.29±0.01 and 0.46±0.05,t lgroup=-3.16,-4.61 and-6.25,tcaerulein group =-1.58,-4.61 and-6.15,all P＜0.05).And the cell proliferation rates of pioglitazone+GW9662+caerulein group at six,12 and 24 hour (0.23±0.02,0.27±0.02 and 0.45±0.01) were significantly higher than those of pioglitazone+caerulein group (t=2.25、3.87、4.56,all P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in cell apoptosis rate detected by flow cytometry with Annexin Ⅴ/PI staining between pioglitazone group ((11.80 ± 0.47) ％,(9.62 ± 2.63) ％ and (14.92 ± 2.52) ％) and pioglitazone+caerulein group ((8.78±0.47)％,(11.89±2.80)％ and (14.25±2.67)％,all P＞0.05),but cell apoptosis of these two groups were higher than those of control group ((5.52± 0.64)％,(5.30±0.97)％ and (5.47±0.88)％) and caerulein group ((5.98±1.21)％,(7.47± 0.58) ％ and (8.11 ± 1.32) ％) respectively,and the differences were statistically significant (t l group =9.81,4.45 and 10.74,tcaerulein group =4.38,7.62 and 6.98,all P ＜0.05).There was no significant difference in apoptosis rate between pioglitazone+GW9662+caerulein group ((5.82±0.26) ％,(6.05± 0.83) ％ and (9.23±0.90)％) and caerulein group; while significantly higher when compared with those of pioglitazone+ caerulein group (t=-4.63,-10.07 and-5.70,all P＜0.05).At 12 hour,the apoptosis rate detected by TUNEL staining of pioglitazone group ((3.93 ± 0.40)％) was significantly higher than that of control group ((2.73 ±0.68) ％),the apoptosis rate of pioglitazone+ caerulein group ((8.43 ± 1.65)％) was significantly higher than that of caerulein group ((2.80 ± 0.56)％),the apoptosis rate of pioglitazone+GW9662+caerulein group ((3.87±0.35)％) was lower than that of pioglitazone+ caerulein group (t=7.93,8.92,-5.35,all P＜0.05).At 24 hour,the activity of Caspase 3,8 and 9 of pioglitazone+ caerulein group (1.28 ± 0.05,1.38 ± 0.04 and 1.53 ± 0.09) significantly increased compared with those of caerulein group (1.12±0.88,1.22±0.02 and 0.53±0.07,t=3.20,8.62 and 1.29,all P＜0.05).After treated with GW9662,part of activity of Caspase enzymes recovered.The number of cells with potential change of mitochondrial membrane in pioglitazone group and pioglitazone + caerulein group was more than that of caerulein group (28.50±0.91)％ and (28.20±2.56)％ vs (15.00±3.67)％) and part of membrane potential recovered after GW9662 added ((20.67 ± 2.20) ％).Conclusions Pioglitazone might promote AR42J cell apoptosis through the activation of caspases enzymes and changing membrane potential.And the antagonist GW9662 would partially inhibit the apoptosis induced by pioglitazone.
