Objective To observe the structure changes of the synapse of the neurons in hippocampus CA3 of young rats and study the basis for the mechanism of polyene phosphatidyl in providing learning and memory and the effect on synaptic plasticity. Methods A total of 20 Wistar rats with 5 months were randomly divided into polyene phosphatidyl group and normal control group. Each group had 10 rats. After 4 weeks feeding,Water maze training was peformed in all the rats for 1 weeks. The immue expressions of synapsin(SYN) of the rats in polyene phosphatidyl group and control groups were observed with immunohistochemical method and analyzed by MOTAC imagine analyzing system. The change of synapse of hippocamal CA3 was observed with electron microscope. And the other 24 to 26 months rats were selected as aged group, and fed in the same condition. Moreover, the ultrastructures of hippocamal CA3 of aged rats were observed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Results The SYN in polyene phosphatidyl group(0.430 0?0.022 4) was higher than that in control group(0.3567?0.0209) (P

AIM: To observe the difference in the application of proportion of pinellisa decoction for purging stomach-fire, ginger rind and licorice root with different BP (back propagation,BP) method of artificial neural network. METHODS: The influence of gastric mucuqas content in normal rats was measured, and the groups of different flavor of a drug and dosage were divided according to homogeneous design. This research was programmed with MATLAB6.5, conformed the experimental data with BP artificial neural network, and the research compared the different structural topology of 8-3-1?8-8-1?8-12-1, and compared the different influence with the different BP method to network. And then, the expected mode of gastric mucus content was formed, which based on the BP neural network. RESULTS: The artificial neural network model that had 8-10-1 structural topology and improved BP method was formed, and it was a kind of good method to uniform the studied samples and to forecast the unstudied samples, Moreover, the expected effect of variable learning rate back propagation was best. CONCLUSION: Using the studying of pinellisa decoction for purging stomach-fire, ginger rind and licorice as an example, and give birth to the new model in studying proportioning of compound prescription. This model will found its position in studying proportioning of compound prescription.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2003;1(3):177-9
The paper discussed a variety of experimental designs of compound compatibility law of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM): study of whole formula and different ingredients of formula. The latter includes study of single ingredient, study of functional ingredient group, orthogonal design, clustering analysis, homogeneous design, factorial analysis and so on. It was proposed that experimental designs of formula should be based on the theory of TCM, and combined with modern sciences.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the application value of serum bile acid in diagnosing intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP).MethodsThe clinical data of 92 prepartal patients with ICP was analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into observation group ( > 40 μ mol/L ) and control group ( ≤40 μ mol/L) with 46 cases each according to serum bile acid level. The nccurrence time of skin pruritus, jaundice degree, serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and degree of polluted amniotic fluid of two groups were observed and compared.ResultsThe occurrence of skin pruritus in observation group was earlier than that in control group [(29.1 ± 3.4) weeks vs.(33.9 ± 3.2) weeks,P<0.05 ] ;the cases with severe jaundice,ALT > 100 U/L,AST > 100 U/L and amniotic fluid contamination Ⅲ degree in observation group were more than control group [27 cases vs.15 cases,28 cases vs.20 cases,28 cases vs.18 cases,23 cases vs.15 cases,P< 0.01 or < 0.05].ConclusionsSerum bile acid,as a sensitive indicator to assess TCP,has important value in determining the condition of pregnant women and prognosis analysis, and it can reflect the occurrence possibility of bad perinatal outcomes.

Malignancies threaten human health seriously.Recently studies show that intercellular signal transduction influences the biological characteristics of tumor cells. It has closely relationship with tumor growth and metastasis.Insulin-like growth factor ( IGFs ) signal transduction system is a potential mitogen that distributed in the body′s tissues, organs and blood.Researches show that the abnormal expression of IGFs exists in many tissues, such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric carcinoma, lung carcinoma, pancreatic cancer and so on, which may play an important role in occurrence and metastasis as a novel tumor marker.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2014;(6):847-852
A Ni-based rare-earth perovskite LaNiTiO3 nanoparticles was synthesized and its catalytic activity was investigated. Based on this, a simple and quick nonenzyme electrochemical sensor was fabricated with stable and reliable performances for the determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 ). The techniques of X-ray diffraction, FT-IR spectra, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray fluorescene spectroscopy and scan electronmicroscope were used to characterize the composition, structure and morphology of as-synthesized sample. The sensor based on this nanomaterial was investigated and optimized by cyclic voltammetry and current-time techniques. The results showed the working electrode modified with LaNiTiO3 (0. 5 g / L, 8. 0μL) in 0. 1 mol/ L NaOH exhibited good catalytic properties for H2 O2 . Under the optimum conditions, the sensor performed excellent properties, such as quick response time ( about 2 s ), a wide linearity (0. 2 μmol/ L -8. 0 mmol/ L), a low detection limit of 0. 05 μmol/ L ( S / N = 3 ), a high sensitivity of 957 μA (mmol/ L) -1 cm-2 , good reproducibility and anti-interference ability, which was better than those of some other biosensors reported recently. So, it may be used for the analysis and detection of H2 O2 in practical samples such as biomedicine.

Objective To analyze factors affecting quality of life (QOL)in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB),and provide reference for improving QOL of patients. Methods The MOS 36-item short form health sur-vey (SF-36)was adopted to survey QOL of patients with CHB,Morisky medication adherence scale was used to measure patients'adherence to medication, factors affecting QOL of patients with CHB were analyzed. Results Of 357 CHB patients,271(75.91% )were married,107(29.97% )received college or above education,163(45.66% ) patients'average household monthly income were ¥ 2000-¥ 5000,138(38.66% )patients'family members were also with CHB,198 (55.46% )patients smoked,150 (42.02% )drank. The average score of CHB patients' adherence to medication was (2.15±1.29). Factors affecting QOL in patients with CHB were age, education level, duration of disease, whether or not hospitalized, whether or not drink,as well as adherence to medication. Age, drink, and duration of hepatitis B,and previous hospitalization were negative factors affecting QOL in patients with CHB,education level and adherence to medication were positive factors affecting QOL in patients with CHB. Conclusion Strengthening CHB patients'understanding on disease and improving their medication adherence can help them to improve QOL.
